They restored my unit in record time because they regularly checked on the drying process and repositioned the fans to optimize drying. They had a crew to take out the smallest amount of drywall to get the unit dried, and then had a crew come as soon as the dry meter met criteria. I've worked with 2 other local restoration companies & On-site is by far the best.

Had sewage backup in duplex property in Frisco and was looking for dependable, professional,…read moreknowledgable restoration company on an emergency basis. Checked reviews and checked with neighbors to see who they recommend. The reviews for Kinder Restoration Services appeared excellent and neighbor had utilized their service, several years ago. Contacted them and they brought equipment (air scrubbers and dehumidifiers) to get the areas of each unit dried out. There was way too much for the area and the equipment was not correctly vented so the contaminated air was circulated throughout the remainder of the properties in areas that had not previously been affected. Thankfully I was able to get three other professional, competent restoration companies to come by, check out the damage and ended up hiring one of them. When reviewing the online reviews and discussing with two of the other contractors, it is evident that the reviews are phony. If you ever need a restoration company, do thorough research and find a trustworthy company who doesn't use pressure tactics and false information and charge exorbitant prices.

The aggressively get to your home for restoration and work quickly with communication for the first 24 hours, but like most "ambulance chasers", they move on quickly. We tried everything to get them to communicate in the most basic ways but calls, emails, and texts go unanswered. Every promise is broken within a few days, and after 10 weeks of torturous attempts to work with them, we opt to terminate services, absorb costs on our own, and figure out how to finish the restoration. They are unable to keep up with their commitments and spend all of their energy getting the next job rather than finishing their existing commitments or even communicating with clients.

Their responsiveness during our emergency was awesome. Unfortunately we had to rip out a substantial portion of the room. Their work product was great. Their pricing was not clear. I got a bill at the end of the day that was insanely high for the work completed. It was explained to me that that is because it was "insurance rates." I am not filing a claim with my insurance so I am getting stuck paying unquoted work (during an emergency) at crazy high rates. Again, their emergency response was great. Their work product was exactly what it should have been. I am just very surprised and disappointed at the pricing. Even recognizing I was in a bind and it was going to cost me, their pricing was simply not fair. Getting a bill after the fact, nothing I can do now except let others know if you aren't making an insurance claim, be prepared for "insurance rates." Dumb of me not to get pricing clearly stated prior but sitting in a wet room with a burst pipe makes you hurry along!
