Arrived at 130 on a Saturday and got seated right away at the bar and they changed the TV for me so we could watch the ND game! Shoshana was the bartender serving us & she was great! Patient while we looked through the menu, friendly, & checked on us a few times to make sure we were good throughout the meal. I ordered the tempeh burrito minus all the spicy stuff, mushrooms, & onions. I love that after putting in the order, the kitchen asked Shoshana to come check with me because the rice in the burrito has onion mixed in and they wanted to make sure that was ok and it wasn't an allergy. I can handle that, I just don't like chunky onions to bite into. The burrito was scrumptious. Packed with ingredient and everything tasted fresh. I got it with the combo fries...I love that they offer that option! I want to try both sweet potato and regular fries!! Both types were cooked & seasoned perfectly! Boyfriend got the crispy chicken tenders & curly fries (bonus between both our orders we got to try all 3 types of fries!). He loved the breading on the chicken and said the chicken was juicy & cooked well. The curly fries were perfectly seasoned as well. The order came with a in-house fry sauce, but he also asked for a side of honey mustard. When it came out, I was afraid it wouldn't taste good because it wasn't the usual yellow color. But OMG that was the highlight of both our dishes! Made in house it was perfectly sweet and tangy. We loved it so much we asked if we could buy some to take home & they said yes! We bought an 8oz container with our leftovers! The seasonal special blackberry lemonade was refreshing light not overly sweet & delicious! All of the staff was friendly & helpful, and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend!!

The food was enough to get by but nothing outstanding especially for the hotel price. At best the experience was 5/10 But , this mornings coffee was the absolute worst -10/10 , we ordered 3 coffees before our flight 3 iced lattes , 2 whole milk/ caramel, 1 oat milk vanilla. They sent out hot coffees , which wasn't bad but when they read them off they said 2%, and whole milk. When we said something - they just switched the drinks into ice cups and said it was the right order. Well we're now at the airport with bubble guts because we played coffee roulette and it didn't sit well.

Plus my husband doesn't eat nuts and we wanted to ensure there would be GF and vegan options.) You know what happens when you don't eat enough at an event that has an open bar? You run the risk of being "over served"... Keri and the team at Urban Phoenix were the perfect fit for our son's bar mitzvah celebration and now my husband and I are brainstorming and inventing other parties we can have just so we can work with them and eat their food again. They took our island theme and went heavy on the vegetables which is the way we like it. The cauliflower passed appetizer tasted "just like shrimp" according to my mother. The taco bar was delicious. Even though WE don't eat a lot of meat/poultry, we anticipated that our guests would be expecting it. The jackfruit substituted beautifully for brisket/pulled pork and I wish there had been leftovers of that dish. And the tostones. Our fry bar featured plant based "meat" sliders and... my son's friends thought they had eaten cheeseburgers. But the piec de resistance... THE POKE BAR with fish sourced locally from Chula Seafood. We had 140 guests at this event and we've probably heard from 100 of them that the poke bar was "bussin-bussin." According to my 13 year old son, this means "delicious". The presentation was top-notch and artistic. We are beyond happy to have worked with Urban Phoenix and would recommend them in a heartbeat. We have zero complaints. These are people who love food, love entertaining and take care of their clients.

Once you walk in you're greeted warmly and walking into the dining area, it's a relaxing feeling. We had the Hecho Breakfast which is two eggs any style with papas bravas, choice of bacon, turkey bacon, pork sausage, turkey sausage, chorizo, soyrizo. We ordered the turkey sausage, but they gave us turkey bacon instead. Not a big deal, but would have preferred sausages. No other faults and a solid breakfast overall. The other dish we ordered was the Breakfast Burrito which had carne ranchera, queso oaxaca, frijoles de la olla, scramble eggs, breakfast potatoes, salsa roja. The Breakfast Burrito was delicious with extra fluffy scrambled eggs, well seasoned potatoes and cheese. One of the top breakfast burritos I've had. We thought dinner pricing was way too high so we didn't try any on our short trip. For a 6 oz filet, it was $60 USD.

On this occasion, we placed ourself on the waitlist through the Yelp app. We started off as 5th in line and then by the time we arrived we were number 1. We ended up parking at the garage across the street so it worked out perfectly. For brunch, I ended up getting the steak breakfast sandwich. That was really delicious. It came with a chimichurri sauce. I would say the only thing is that my bread was a little soggy cause they overdid the sauce so in hindsight, I probably would ask that they either take some of the moisture out of the steak and eggs or maybe just ask for my sauce on the side since the bread did get a little soggy. On reheating the second half in the air fryer I was able to get my bread more crispy. My husband got the chicken and waffles and he enjoyed that he liked that the chicken was breast. The only thing he would suggest is that if you could add an extra piece of chicken that would've been more hardy as he did finish the whole meal. We also tried pecan roll and that was pretty tasty. They ended up heating that up for us. For drinks, my husband got the espresso martinis sub with bourbon and he enjoyed that. I got a blueberry lemon martini (tart) and that was tasty. I also was able to try the banana chai latte iced to go and that was really refreshing. I am on the fence as to if I would return. I will say that the staff was really nice and even though they were mostly pretty young, they were receptive. However, when I got home, I noticed that that same day this establishment was on the dirty dining list. So that could be why the staff was overly nice that day. However, our experience was fine and the three things that were on the dirty dining list weren't too horrible. But I really wish I would've known that before eating there that day. It would seem like if you are put on the dirty dining list that you're rating if you got cited would be outside on the restaurant that day, but I didn't see anything indicating that. So that was a bummer but we actually really did enjoy our dining experience and the restaurant itself was really open and bright.

Churro toast: phenomenal, sweet, but not too sweet. The berries were a nice touch. The breakfast tacos were probably some of the best I've had in a while! I think they are a MUST GET item! Dinner was a nice quaint vibe. The hostess Akiko was so friendly! Pão de queijo was actually so good and reminded me of authentic Brazilian bread. The nice twist is they give you honey for it and I believe a honey whipped butter also. 4 little muffins for $12 The pork shoulder for 2 is a very generous portion size.
