I hired ASD for a complex kitchen countertop and backsplash project after seeing their stunning backlit Crystallo stone installation in a Street of Dreams project. My project entailed a backlit island, multiple cutouts and a curved wall structure. From my first conversation with Marina, one of the owners, I knew I was in excellent hands. She was exceptionally customer-focused, providing multiple updated quotations as my project evolved and offering thoughtful guidance on stone selection and other design decisions. She was patient, knowledgeable, and never tired of my many questions. When I found my Crystallo Quartzite at MSI, Marina offered to pick it up and store it for m and held it for more than two years while I finalized my cabinetry and overall kitchen design. Throughout that time, she checked in kindly and never once showed frustration or impatience. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. ASD's fabrication team is among the best I have encountered. They beautifully fabricated the various pieces of my Crystallo Quartzite, which is an exceptionally delicate and translucent stone. Eduardo and Leo in the fabrication shop were outstanding. They took the time to provide samples, review templates, and patiently create multiple edge samples so I could make an informed decision. Eduardo was nearly ready to leave for the day when I asked for one more edge sample, and he graciously made it without hesitation. It is rare to find professionals who are so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, and Eduardo exemplified that level of dedication. The installation crew was equally fantastic. They worked diligently, took great pride in their craftsmanship, and were fully invested in delivering the level of quality I was hoping for. Lim, the lead installer, was polite, friendly, and consistently positive throughout the process. The install crew including Juan, Geo, Ivan, and several others--put tremendous care into shaping the edges and polishing the seams to perfection on a very challenging quartzite. Their seam-polishing technique is truly world-class. ASD allowed them to take the time needed to perfect the results unlike other fabricators who rush through projects to maximize ROI. They stayed up late to clean and seal the stone thoroughly before they left. ASD also designed and installed my backlit island waterfall, and the final result is absolutely gorgeous. They artistically assembled slivers of the quartzite to cover my curved wall for a stunning look! Just as importantly, they stand behind their work and assured me they would be available if I noticed any issues after the installation was complete. I highly recommend Artistic Stone Design for any stone fabrication project. Their artistry, professionalism, patience, and commitment to quality are exceptional. Unlike most of them, Natalie was so chill and no-pressure as I browsed. I really appreciated that. Because of that, I trusted her with my business and went with her installers as well. Now her installers.. I was so nervous because I just put my faith in them to make 2 slabs work somehow on this large project with a fairly complex sink and faucet set up. They crushed it. What they did is literally a WORK OF ART. The symmetry, the precision. This is the centerpiece of my house now, where everyone likes to gather round. He was obviously in a rush - none of the tiles are cut straight, he spilled grout and mortar on the tiles that he didn't clean up so it's dried on and won't come off, tiles are not sloped properly so water pools and doesn't drain properly. When we first noticed there was an issue and brought it up to him he yelled at my husband and said he was just going to walk away with our money and not complete our shower (my husband simply asked him to fix the issue and wasn't rude and we were floored at the extremely harsh response we got). He was the one who built the shower walls and tried to blame the crooked tiles on the walls that they built!!! Then when we noticed the water pooling on the shower floor his wife let it slip that he never water checked the pan (that he built) before tiling and then blamed usfor not asking them to water check the pan (I'm the customer, I shouldn't have to babysit and make sure they do their job!). We now have a non functional shower and will have to pay thousands to get it ripped out and redone. after several attempts to get them to fix it they flat refused and so we had to get a lawyer and we were going to try to use small claims court to try to recover our money so we could get the shower fixed but they've obviously been sued before (just look up their CCB number - I wish we would have done this, and you'll see they have several claims against them) and they requested a jury trial and counter sued us because We had originally wanted them to tile the shower and the fireplace but after the awful shower job we didn't want them to touch the fireplace so they were suing us for not letting them tile our fireplace. They created a water problem in our home and cost us thousands of dollars. We were having Sheetrock work done at the same time and even the Sheetrock guy (who was here working at the same time) was saying that it was the worst tile job he'd ever seen and mentioned that they built the shower all wrong. These people are criminal and will steal your money!!! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!
