It's been 18 years since my last trip 'home' so things have changed. Meals are served in a container with bamboo utensils. This is par now if you travel economy on most airlines. I found the staff on board all well groomed, fresh uniforms and very attentive with lots of smiles and eye contact. No sooner took off than we had a bottle of water and a fun savory snack to enjoy. I read an actual book on board so did not use the entertainment system except to view the view from the tail of the plane and also the flight tracker. 14+ hour flight, you need hydration and snacks along the way, these were there to enjoy. Nearby was a large compartment with choice of cold drinks and snacks ready to enjoy wherever needed during the flight. The seating is snug, I knew it would be and so not an issue for me, I was mentally prepared for that. I travelled with my adult Down syndrome son and without asking, Qantas staff offered us pre boarding on each flight, much appreciated. My next visit, I will fly Qantas airlines again happily. We all know their safety record, that counts!

My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. I was initially seated between two really large fellas, cramped and wedged into the tiny seat. When I plead my case to the flight attendant, and she saw how I was packed like a sardine, she got me a better seat in business class! Score! There was about an extra 8-12 inches of legroom, and the seats almost completely reclined. Swanky! The lavatories were kept clean, and were much more spacious than I've seen on other airlines. The food was nothing to write home about. It wasn't especially Chilean. They came by frequently to check on people, but didn't take time to let anyone actually ask for anything, just quick and breezy sprints through the cabin. They seemed to enjoy my efforts at speaking Spanish to the Chilean flight attendants. My favorite thing was that the windows on the plane were electronic- no shade to pull down. Instead, you push a button that lightens or darkens the windows! Futuristic! In the end, I made it in one piece with all my luggage, so it was a good flight.

Dear Sir/madam 15/4/25…read more By the following letter of complaint, I would like to express my un-satisfaction and frustration with the treatment and service received by your airline Latam. I travelled on 20/3/25 to Montevideo/Uruguay the flight was delayed by almost 3 hours,as a result I missed my connection flight from Santiago/Chile with destination to Uruguay. I was stranded for over 16 hours in Santiago/Chile awaiting the connection flight the following day. I was unable to get out of the airport as I had no visa to enter the country and was left for all those hours sitting on the most uncomfortable airport hard surface chairs as a punishment for something that clearly wasn't my fault. Latam had not notified me in any way that I was going to miss my connection flight due to their delay and was going to be put on the next available flight the following day,I find that very disrespectful and appalling communication to say the least. The most minimum they could have done was to accomodate me in the Latam vip salon since your airline was responsible for the delay. In my eyes it's disgusting to have a loyal customer sit for 16 hours plus in such inappropriate and poor conditions with nothing more than a $25 voucher for dinner which didn't buy much with the inflated food prices at the airport restaurants. I would like to kindly request your assistance in providing some compensation or other benefits to make up for the inevitable inconvenience caused by this unfortunate event. I had paid for two nights in Montevideo and lost the first night stay as a result of the delay,I understand that there can be unexpected delays but this delay was unreasonably long. I was offered at the Latam counter a voucher which had 2 options one was $200US into the Latam wallet the other was a $100US to redeem and transfer into my nominated institution but every time I tried to proceed your page would crash saying page unavailable try later,I've tried for over 3 wks now and haven't had any luck. Help via your call centre when you incredibly get through is another frustration as call drops before any resolution, you are left hanging on line for a lengthy period of time for nothing, team members all have different versions which makes me believe they are incompetent and misleading to an extend. This is totally frustrating and a waste of my valuable time,I'm deeply dissatisfied in every meaning of the word. I kindly ask you to please address this issue at your earliest convenience with a positive result as I believe Latam must take full responsibility for all the inconvenience, headaches and a waste of my valuable time. $100US dollars will not cover my loss so please reconsider your offer/compensation and value me accordingly as your costumer. On another topic one of the bags I dispatched was damaged, the carry handle was ripped from the bag completely leaving the razor sharp exposed metal which meant I could not drag the bag on its wheels and had no choice put to carry it making it extremely difficult to cope with my luggage. I have photographed it straight after I picked it off the carousel. Airport personnel/Latam are responsible for the damage. In the event my issue isn't resolved fairly I will have no choice but to take the matter to another level as it's been over a month with no resolution my matter goes from person to person and nobody is competent enough to resolve it. I thank you for your time in reading my email and look to your prompt reply Have a pleasant day Warmest regards Stella

We were granted an electronic visa for tourism within 72 hours of our application and excitedly awaited our upcoming travel this March. We were a bit apprehensive about finding our way through Sydney's International Terminal, but were quickly relieved by clear directional signs and quick, easy electronic passport screening. We were impressed with the modern, sleek yet friendly-looking facility, the multiple new electronic security kiosks designed to handle the large number of incoming visitors and returning residents, and the local artwork displays. I must say it took us around 15 minutes from the arrival gate to baggage claim, then to check in and pass through immigration, as we didn't have anything to declare. Once we exited immigration, we met with our driver, who was proudly showing a company placard with our names boldly printed. This was by far the best and most efficient arrival procedures and processing into a foreign country that we have ever encountered. We'd happily return.

I've always flew US domestic most times when I travel, but on the rare instances that I do international, I decided to check out Emirates Airlines, just because I have heard about the pretty cool amenities that they offer. At least, that what I hear, probably international airlines in general. And so, my flight was booked from SYD to CHC for a nice Monday morning in September 2018. The check in process was actually at the check in counter. The gate agent did ask me when I was to fly back to Sydney or leave New Zealand. I'm guessing New Zealand doesn't like people traveling one way and get stuck. I was on holiday, so there wasn't any need to be stuck anywhere. I got the boarding pass there and proceeded to the gate. I was surprised that there was a full flight that morning. Only thing was that we actually boarded and departed late, but ended up arriving to Christchurch more or less on time. It was weird that way, but I was glad that I got to Christchurch at a decent time. We flew on an Airbus 380, which had an upstairs section for the business and first class fliers. I never knew this type of plane existed till this type of plane only flew internationally and the US carriers did not have this type of plane. Once I boarded the plane, I immediately saw the staircase to the second floor. That really blown me away, not realizing that they made that kind of plane! I was stoked and took it to social media upon arrival to my seat to voice my amazement for this wonder. After a while, it became clear to me, but I never seen it flying domestically in the United States. First time for everything! The overall experience here flying with Emirates Airlines from Sydney to Christchurch was nice, although the slight delay was disappointing. The airline usually accepts online bookings prior to departure via online credit card payments either directly on its website or third party travel companies. Best bet is to find the best deal and dates to fly before securing your airline ticketing options. Since my departure airport was Sydney Australia (SYD), I made sure I was here about 2 hours early even though it was an international flight. You don't have to be, but it helps a lot to not be panicking when time gets too close to departure. For the most part though, the seats were comfortable, I'll admit to. I sat in the back of the plane, since I rather not be hurried when I get off the plane. Although the plane had usb power, it was a quick flight, so i basically just did some yelp reviews on the way there. The service was nice enough, as airline service went. There was breakfast meal service on that morning flight. I know whether to take one and be asked for payment - or not. Thankfully, I had eaten prior to boarding and just had the complimentary wine that I knew was complimentary instead of guessing. The flight was smooth and no major bumps and other mishaps along the way. I wanted to get there alive, much like everyone else. Although I would have liked to be sitting in the business class section of the plane while traveling internationally, it was nice to experience the Emirates Airlines experience, just for once. Traveling internationally is something I don't do often, but when I do, I try to see how it is different than that of the United States and it's many carriers. Free wine is always a nice way to do things though. I should have asked if the meal was complimentary, but that's for next time and another flight. Flying is usually comes standard, but choosing the airline helps makes that proces smoother. If you have a choice for international travels, you can decide to fly with Emirates. They are cool. I would recommend them on flights to and from Sydney Australia. 4.0 stars for the overall experience and comfort. 4.0 stars for the seat comfort. 4.0 stars for the complimentary wine. Too bad I didn't ask them if the meal was complimentary. Oh well. 4.0 stars for the service. Fly more! Support local! B
