First of all. This airport is small. I arrived 2 hours ahead of my flight. And found no one at the desk. We all started lining up. Soon someone came to the desk. it was clear he typically works out on the tar mat. It quickly occurred to me that all the employees have a hand in multiple tasks. All very friendly. Fast forward to my flight. They requested a volunteer to give a seat up for 500. Since I spent 800. to fly out for my dads wife's passing. I thought I would try to make it count. Not realizing I would miss my connection and it was the last to CT. The employee's worked very hard to make the experience appealing. I wish I new all of their names. There was also a gentleman on standby in which he was pulled off the plane as well. All due to the heat and size of the plane. This gentleman was an employee of United Airlines and he played a role in assisting the other UA employees in the arrangements for flights and hotel reservations. They increased my flight voucher to $1000.00 along with setting me up at The Westin! Along with $50.00 worth of food vouchers. I thank all of you for working so hard for me! Great Job! read more
