United made us gate check our bags even though there was PLENTY of overhead space when we boarded the flight. We were in group 2 and even have priority status. We had a layover and were extremely disappointed about having to wait for our bags at our final destination. United can do better.

Here goes it... Our flight was delayed because too heavy so they had to take some fuel off, understandable. Then Fuel people were late, ok. Then we had to de board since something was wrong with the system so they couldn't do what they needed with passengers on board, sucks but shit happens, ok. Got off and then was told few minutes later flight will be delayed and people needs to rebook. So had to rebook. Traveling with an 8 and a 5 yr old they didn't sit us together after I already paid in advance so we can sit together. So now I had to pay 2 more times just so I can sit with my small children. Because of all these stress the agents are now sounding very rude to customers asking questions. Then finally got the plane back in commission but of course we couldn't go on the plane anymore, ok, don't wanna be late for my connecting flight anyways. We now have. A 4 hr wait. Figured maybe we can do a day pass at the United club, (we usually do Delta Airlines/Club member). Dragging my now "tired of waiting and walking and standing" boys we went to the United Club. The only thing I said was "we were part of the delayed group..." before I can finish my sentence the woman told me United employee: "are you a member?" Me: "no I was..." Again cut me off; United employee: "this is a private club, members only go to the gate they'll help You there. We only help members here." Me: "that's why I'm here I was gonna asked about the day pass." United employee: "members only here, private. They can help at the gate." I don't know if it's my relaxed outfit of t-shirt, shorts and crocs or my lack of sleep, disheveled look but she treated me like I'm homeless and don't know what a private club is. I continue.. Me: "I'm here to ask about the Club day pass. " United employee: "oh why didn't you say so, you weren't being clear. Yes we have a day pass. " Me: "Because you didn't listen, and you're rude" United employee: " you weren't being very clear..."blah blah blah as I was walking away. I am appalled and extremely disgusted? Disappointed? I don't even know what word to use as how these so called people still works in a very heavy customer service base environment. They are downright rude, lacks courtesy, common decency and humility. They act whatever they want and know they can get away with it. This shows lack of training and reflects very heavily on leadership. Unfortunately our experience at United Airlines, well for lack of a better word, crap! Crappy crap crap and it'll probably be a long while until we try them again. Oh yeah not to mention the flight attendant saw me trying to go to the lavatory and she asked "bano?" Bathroom in Spanish. I said I speak English (and note I'm neither Hispanic/latino.) I'm pretty sure back in the day they would shower you with apologies and even give you discounts or maybe a club pass or upgraded seats, you know to keep you happy and keep your business like I don't know, like what GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE looks like. Do better! United Ailines DFW airport 9:50 am Flight UA1380 Terminal E

I was fortunate enough to visit Europe this summer . United had a sale on Polaris tickets so there was no way I could pass it up . I haven't flown United much due to lack of flights were I want to go . Due to Covid I still had questions. The staff working at the pre security check in counter were extremely helpful . Sadly past security the United club was still closed . The flight to IAD was on an old continental plane which had live TV. They also had mango white claw to drink . I know I'm in the minority, but prefer the snack box . The IAD to Frankfurt part of the flight was amazing, I have never slept better in an airplane. The flight attendants were polite and seemed to care about the passengers on board . The food was the biggest disappoint. I had fish for dinner because my first choice wasn't available and French toast for breakfast. Not impressed with either choice . I am well aware United in an airline not a restaurant so I will over look the meal . When we landed we had to exit through the back door . I got to see premium economy which is what I usually take on international flight and economy. Both cabins looked nice . I was very impressed with the friendly skies and can't wait to fly them again. I'm excited for United's future.

At the time of this review, United Airline's overall rating is 1.5 stars. I am not a fan of United Airlines, but because they offer so many flights all over the world and their prices often times are cheaper than other airlines, my husband and I are often stuck flying with them. On the morning of New Year's, at around 4:30 am, it was incredibly busy at the United Airlines terminal. Although there were some employees on the floor, a lot of them were not helpful at directing people and answering their questions. After a few frustrating tries, we ended up checking into one of the self kiosk machines and then waiting in line to get a receipt to be attached to our dog's carrier (we often like to fly with our little girl. It cost $125 each way). After the hassle of that morning's mess, we only had less than hour to get to our terminal (by this time, we knew that our flight had already began boarding... it was a horribly stressful morning and not off the right start for the New Year). To our surprise (and sure enough, our group number was already boarding when arrived), we were upgraded to first class. My husband believes that because we checked in so late, that someone must have given our seats away to standbys and then upgraded our seats to first class. It is possible that whoever did this thought we would probably not make our flight (getting through the nightmare of United Airlines that morning took much longer than expected, thus being in such a rush all morning long... definitely not fun and wished I had gotten to the airport at least another hour earlier). Wow, so this is how the 1% lives. First class was amazing! The leg room was more than enough (and so great that our little girl had her own space instead of my husband or I having to share our leg room with her inside her carrier. It was nice to have plenty of space in the overhead bin when we arrived and was pleasantly surprised with our commentary in flight breakfast meal. After 45 minutes of the plane departing, we were asked by one of the flight attendants if we would like an egg white sandwich or oatmeal for breakfast. We both opted for the egg white sandwich. Although our sandwiches were a bit cold inside (but was nice and warm on the outside), I thought it was okay. This meal also came with a bowl of cut up assorted fruit, Greek yogurt and beverage of your choice. Shortly after our tray was given to us, one of the flight attendants came down the aisle and asked if we wanted a croissant or cinnamon roll with our breakfast (along with jelly and/ or butter). The breakfast was definitely a lot more than what I typically would consume and so I took home a few of the items (I had a reusable ziplock bag). I greatly appreciated when we first sat down that one of the flight attendants had asked if we wanted anything to drink before take off. I also appreciated that they would check up on us if we wanted anything else during the duration of our flight. I can see why some people would splurge the extra money to sit in first class because it is a completely different flying experience. Gosh if I flew like this all the time, I think I would actually award my Yelp ratings for other airlines higher. For my first class experience, that was definitely 5 stars. But the horrible mess that United put us through in that morning, that was a 1 star. Overall, I am rating United and average of 3 stars. But without that excellent service in first class, I would have made my rating much lower (Across the board, United Airlines rating on Yelp, not just in Dallas, is pretty poor for a reason and this one sadly is not an exception).

We had a lovely flight to Dallas and back to VA. Flight was on time. Employees in the plane were friendly and made us feel welcome. Seats and leg space on the flights were comfy and spacious enough. Snacks and drinks were provided. Restrooms were also clean enough. We got great deals on our tickets, so no complaints here.

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again

I used to be a SOuthwest fan, to be honest. My experiences had always been good. No complaints…read more That is, until three years ago when I paid for my mother and I to take different flights from our respective cities to meet up in Boston, so I could treat her to a visit with a sick cousin she hadn't seen in 40 years for her 75th birthday. Long story short... I have to use a folding cane when I travel and need chair assist for airport mobility. I have two major health issues which do not allow me to freely move about without becoming so exhausted I literally cannot function. Cancer treatments can be brutal. As I boarded the plane in Dallas, a man was sitting in the aisle seat of the very front row. I boarded first and was trying to put my carry on overhead when this man suddenly started griping that I hit him with my cane. I felt NOTHING. how I could have hit him and not even felt a bump, I will never understand. I apologized to him and continued getting settled in. He kept griping that I was careless and carrying on like I had murdered his mother. I don't know what was going on with him, but it was way bigger than my supposedly hitting him by accident with my aluminum cane, which was hanging on my wrist by an elastic string. After getting settled in, one seat between he and I, another man came and sat in the seat between us. I leaned in to him after he got all seated and told him, "I don't know what that fella's problem is, but he sure has an attitude. Watch out." I whicspered this to the man, so the other fellow with the fly in his ointment could not possibly have heard me. Just then, the man of whom I was speaking got up and walked to the front of the plane. Before too long, a couple of the airline employees approached me and asked me to leave the plane! I was dumbfounded! My 75 year old mother was due to meet me in Boston and these people want to gum up my travel arrangements? I literally said nothing. I just got up and disembarked. No complaining. No arguing. NOTHING. After getting off, I asked to speak to a manager. When she finally showed up, I asked her to please tell me what I had said or done that merrited my being taken off the plane. All she said was, "If our attendants feel you need to be removed, we remove you. Period." I insisted on a better, more thorough explanation. NONE was forthcoming. I wound up stuck in a hanger ofr hours, without food, being a sever diabetic who has serious issues when my sigar drops low, which is why when I travel I try to prepare for every possibility. I never in the world expected this to happen. Again, long story short, I wound up having to call my 75 year old mother on her borthday and tell her I was going to be several hours late as I had been removed from the plane, without explanation. What else could we do? Long story short (again), I have NEVER been back on a Southwest plabe since. I literally get hives just thinking about trying to use that airline. That experience was so tramatic that I STILL have nightmares about it and what could have happened. Not only am I a diabetic with leukemia, I am also a 40+ years in ministry ordained minister! That is why I gave them absolutely no issues when they asked me to get off the plane. I believe in trying to live Christ-like. I have a SOuthwest - Chase credit card and have accrued many, many, many travel points. I won't even use them to fly for free as I am terrified that I may be trying to go somewhere and I will once again, com pletely without cause or explanation, be removed from my flight. I STILL have no clue what was said that made these people do me as they did. I can only speculate. Honestly, and you have no idea how much I hate to say these words, I have to wonder if it wasn't race related? The man in question was black. So was every single Southwest employee I had dealt with. I have wondered over and over again if that man didn't falsely claim I used a racial epitath or something. Being married to a person of color, and having decades of ministry which has included preaching in as many churches of color as "white" churches, I am not even remotely inclined to that. Not even remotely. But that would be the only justifiable accusation I could think of for the treatment I received. I can't imagine any other reason. When my sugar drops I can get extremely irritable and easily angry and frustrated. I carry glucose tablets with me to try and prevent this from happening. I did have one issue years ago while taking a Southwest flight that involved me being in very bad spirits due to a hypoglycemic incident. I was travelling with my spouse at that time, so ultimately I was able to get access to food which resolves the blood sugar issue within about 30 minutes. I have wondered also if they didn't somehow blacklist me over that incident and therefore, any accusation would justify their doing what they did. To this day, I HAVE NO CLUE! I still cannot get the trauma of this event out of my head.

In this case, it was pretty easy getting off the plane and to my car rental booth. However, it is really annoying to have someone at the Rental Car Information Booth who lets everyone pass her just to find "Go to the Shuttle" signs at the counter. Spend the money on a sign that doesn't roll its eyes. Of course, this was the last airport JFK flew into. In fact, LBJ was sworn in as president while on the tarmac here. For being one of the oldest continually operating airports in the US (founded in 1917 as a WW1 training base), it doesn't look like it. By the way, if you're on a layover, they have a Smithsonian-affiliated museum ($12) that houses over 30 aircraft and extensive space flight exhibits on airport grounds a 5 minute taxi ride away. As for being the site of movies: their modern (for its time) moving sidewalks were used in Logan's Run (1976). Oliver Stone recreated the president's arrival here for JFK (1991), as did the Stephen King based 11.22.63 (2016); Wes Anderson used it for the backdrop of Bottle Rocket (1996), and the airport was a plot point in Michelle Pfeiffer's Love Field (1992).

But Nutrice spoke calmly and clearly with patience and care. Justin gave me extra cream and sugar for my Coffee from experience with other people from Atlanta,,He knew his people!!! That was great and we laughed about it.. He made sure everyone was taken care of GLADLY!! Then when Nutrice introduce the Mastercard,,,Wow, so eloquently explained, perfectly pitched and emphasize on characteristics of why passengers needed this Mastercard.. I fly out at least 10 times a year for leisure and I have my favorite 3 airlines and Spirit certainly was not one of them. NOW,,I am going to fly spirit more often and give Spirit Airlines a chance to become my new favorite airlines and by the way, I did not need another credit card and certainly no one ever convinced me by simply explaining all the reasons to have this card with care. Terrible customer service and misleading insurance process…read more I specifically purchased travel insurance that advertised the ability to cancel for any reason with an 80% reimbursement. I called on Tuesday regarding a flight scheduled for Friday. The live agent told me I had to cancel at least 24 hours before departure to qualify. Based on that, I was instructed to call back Thursday to process the refund. When I called back on Thursday, I was informed that I would only be eligible for a reservation credit, not a refund. This directly contradicted what I was previously told. I requested that they review or pull the recorded calls where I confirmed eligibility, but my concern was not addressed. The inconsistent information and lack of accountability made the process frustrating and misleading. This makes me afraid to use Spirit Airlines for traveling. Buyers should be very cautious and confirm all refund and insurance terms in writing before purchasing.
