Found a neat little place for breakfast this morning. It's called UniquExpressions Coffee Shop, Cafe, and Gallery located at 125 Main St in Oine Mountain, GA. It's a place to get a light breakfast, some great coffee, a sweet treat, and maybe a unique piece of local art while you're waiting. I got the smoked salmon bagel. It's smoked salmon, tomato, dill, and cream cheese between two slices of toasted Everything bagel. Savory, creamy, and delicious. Not quite a full-on bagels and lox, but close and quite tasty. read more

We took a day trip and found this gem in downtown Pine Mountain. We've driven past it a couple times and decided to stop in and check it out. It was a usual hot day in Georgia so we grabbed single scoop ice creams and added a couple of the in house made brownies to take home for later. Kristen was working the counter and shared with us the menu and that they have their own coffee blend. Then she went on to share the other items that they make from scratch. We happened to notice a gentleman enjoying one of their thin crust pizza's. They have plenty of seating with a couple casual group seating areas. The ambiance was without a doubt family friendly. We will be back to explore the menu. read more

This is truly a hidden gem of a place in the heart of Pin Mountain. According to the restaurant, they started the Gallery in 2007 and opened the cafe in 2015. This is on the west side of Martha Berry Highway in a row of the shops right off the main street. There is parking right in front of the store. It is a gift shop and a cafe/coffee shop. This means that it looks unlike any restaurant that you have probably visited. That is one of the things that gives it charm. The cafe/coffee shop is at the back of the store. The menu is on the wall and includes Bagels, panini's wraps and pizzas. We tried the cinnamon roll and another pastry. The prices were very reasonable with most entrees between $8 and $11. The staff was very friendly. We ordered at the counter and they heated the food up and brought it to our table. Seating is an eclectic mixture of tables and chairs and couches inside and some tables outside on the sidewalk. We decided to sit by the window and found the experience very enjoyable. My wife enjoyed the coffee and the pastry and I liked the cinnamon roll. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with nice staff, good food, great prices in a comfortable environment. read more

We stopped by to grab coffee waiting on the rain to pass before our visit to Callaway Gardens. We were not disappointed! The staff was so friendly and helpful! There are too many choices of flavors to mention, but I got a White Chocolate raspberry scone and the same flavors in coffee and both were delicious! Don't miss out on this place! Super friendly, wonderful service and a great option for breakfast and coffee. A unique shop with an eclectic style, a group of friendly regulars and tasty food. We were staying at Callaway Gardens and all of their restaurants were full, poorly staffed and expensive. Found this to be the perfect solution and would encourage anyone staying at Callaway to venture off site and give them a try. I had a latte and a sausage, egg and cheese everything bagel and for a quarter of what I would have paid at Callaway and was able to have a much nicer experience. We will be coming back. read more

Stopped in for coffee and a snack after going to Callaway Gardens and was thrilled I did. It's a laid back environment inside with an extensive menu of custom coffees and lattes. The staff was very friendly and attentive and gave off the classic small town welcoming feeling and service. On top of that, the food was great and so was the coffee. Stopped here for coffee before hitting the road for home. My sister and I both got iced lattes and split a cinnamon roll. The iced lattes were fine. Nothing super special about them, but they did the trick of perking us up. However, if you want super customized drinks, this may not be the place for you. They don't have different coffees or milks listed, and have only one size for iced drinks (16 oz). They do have a TON of flavored syrups though, so that's fun. I got a pump of coconut in my latte and my sister got cinnamon in hers. The cinnamon roll was good. The dough was soft and sweet. Was it the best cinnamon roll I've ever had? No, I prefer mine with frosting rather than icing, but it paired well with the coffee. read more

Everyone and I mean everyone that works there are extremely polite and extremely hard working. Always doing their best to make customers happy. They have almost everything for sale. I come for the steamers and cozy atmosphere. My friend and I meet here to catch up and it's just a quaint ambiance and comfortable seating. Amazing food! Appears a little unassuming from the outside but a very comfortable feel inside. Pleasant decor with good music. This place is more of an ice cream shop with espresso and sandwiches. Not a fan of the espresso here. Ordered a flavored latte but it tasted like burnt sugar. Customer service was nice. I wish I could just review the food, because it was pretty good, and the ambiance was cool, but... The staff doesn't wear masks while preparing food (or at all), which the cashier was happy to inform another customer was because they didn't LEGALLY HAVE to, and then went on about a communist takeover or some such nonsense. I only mention this because in a resort town it seems a) really irresponsible, and b) a much higher likelihood that people are getting food to-go or delivered to Callaway, so should know the risks of ordering from a place that is interested in "their rights" and not necessarily your safety. What you can do, and what you should do are two different things, often. read more

This sweet little town just keeps surprising us with hidden treasures that are so amazing and wonderful! We came here for one night and between our lodging and this precious little place, we will certainly be back. My family ate breakfast here, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, coffee and ice cream for one of my boys- yes ice cream for breakfast and I have a perma smile on my face because we are all full and blessed this morning! I had the mud slide chocolate coffee with an egg, cheese and sausage croissant and it was delicious!!!! The ladies were so friendly and this unique boutique style place is simply wonderful!!! My wife and I are sort of coffee snobs, and this did not disappoint. We were staying at Callaway and the coffee wasn't great. We ventured out to the only real coffee shop we saw on the map. The flavors options/combos were amazing and certainly unique. The cinnamon roll was on point and the scones were delicious. I can't say we are very easy to please when it comes to coffee, much less impress, but Unique Expressions certainly made an impact! read more

This was an awesome breakfast. I had a Funky monkey coffee and a BYOB breakfast sandwich. Everything was fresh and made to order. Eggs were so fluffy. A guy came in with Circle K coffee and the owner offered to give him fresh coffee for free. Great atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommend if you are visiting FDR state park or Calloway Gardens. read more

We are the Viera Family. We take a trip to Pine Mountain every year and this place is NUMBER 1 in the list!!!!! It is very clean, peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing. The staff is one of a kind they have the best qualities! The food is to die for, yummmmmmmmy!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the "build your own breakfast sandwich" and deserts. Coffee was good. People very friendly. Scones were the best. Cinnamon rolls were good, I think one of the ones we got was a little older than the others, as it was a little tough even after warming up. You can get to the coffee shop through Fireflies or a separate entrance on the back right of the building. The restroom is located in between Fireflies and Lightnin' Bugs. The only "warning" of sorts -- one staff member was a little heavy-handed with her pumps in one our lattes, which made it a bit too sweet. They graciously helped us de-sweeten it, though!

Let me tell you first that I really, REALLY wanted to like this place. However, the last few visits have been frustrating, each with its won nuances, and based on these failed attempts, I most definitely will not go back. It honestly has less to do with the quality of the items offered, but really how this place is operated - so if you don't care about none of that stuff, feel free to pass on this review. My first visit I couldn't even get inside because it was closed - I was by during the early afternoon hours that it was advertised to be open and it was a good few weeks past their soft opening. The second time, I call ahead but there's no one answering the phone. So I cross my fingers and was estatic for a split second when I could open the front door... until I find that only the door was open, but the cafe really wasn't since they apparently were closed for a private event. I later found out they post closings on their Facebook page. So third times the charm right? Nope - even after I check their page to see no early closings, I arrive about quarter til 1pm on a Friday afternoon to find I made it "just in time" before closing at the hour. Okay, maybe my timing is really unlucky - so I suck it up (for the time being). I attempt to order a cookies & cream frappe that was featured on their site. Not available. I ask, what other frappes? None, say staff. I ask for decaf latte. Yep - actually just kidding, nope, decaf grounds take time to prepare (aka not worth their time I guess). So, really I am left with ice or hot coffee. Okay, at this point as much I want to storm out the cafe - I am reminded that one of the owners from the second visit offered a free drink coupon (at this point my Yelp brain is saying, okay this Is at least is a 3 star review). I think, let me just get a drink and get outta here. Bless her heart, the barista I've been going back and forth tells me she happened to brew decaf coffee earlier and could make iced coffee with it. I am thinking - what saving grace, that stuff I would actually order - great, let's do that. Here comes the finale - I had told the staff that I was going to redeem this drink coupon as I said yes to the decaf iced coffee. Clearly, that did not reach her. She tells me that she doesn't know how to undo the transaction and clearly, she is anxious as I am in a slightly different sense - I had insight from the earlier TMI when she told me she is almost late for her game at 1. Okay, as the slightly more adult person here I tell her alright, I will pay but I want the management to follow-up and issue me refund. Thank goodness I proposed this cause guess what, amongst all the tension everything was a-OK since I didn't pay. I guess she thought I did and was trying to tell me she couldn't process refunds. I tried to tie a bow on this as best as I could - I tipped the poor girl 20% and wished her luck on her game. I hope I made it clear that my built up frustration wasn't aimed at her, as I tried to explain in between our unnecessarily long interactions. Oh, did I tell you the staff are not masked in January when vaccines were still limited to healthcare staff? Not the staff nor her companion. Goodness - at least I was wearing one. TMI 2 - no wonder another staff contracted COVID-19. All I can say is - good luck at your own risk, future patrons.

The coffee is fantastic!!! The ONLY you should get coffee in Pine Mountain. From hours of girl conversations over great food to after school treats with my kids, this is a one stop shop for it all! The staff is friendly and treats you like family as soon as you walk in the door. read more

They are open Wednesday through Monday, 7 AM to 7 PM, and serve fresh made coffee cakes, breakfast treats, and egg dishes. They also have an impressive collection of yogurt parfaits, and ice cream. The coffee is delicious. We were taken by the extra, extraordinarily friendly Emily at the front counter. The reception is clean and fresh with a wide ranging menu clearly posted; the dining room is a convenient place to meet up with friends. We noticed that a lot of people were grabbing a breakfast treat and coffee and taking it to go. The ambience is bright and cheerful like everyone with whom we interacted. The service was quick and friendly. And the food was outstanding. We will definitely be going back.
