This was my first time at Unique Nails and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it! It was a smaller salon than I normally go to with less staff but that made it a little more personal. They sat me right away and I told the tech the problems I had with the last salon I went to. She quickly understood and told me what needed to be done and fixed my nails right away! Not to mention their prices were great compared to other salons I've been to! They are a clean establishment and were very welcoming! I am going to make this my new regular salon! read more

Amazing. My pedicure and dip manicure came out amazing. They do not rush you like other places. She really took the time to ask me about everyone I wanted. Made sure I liked the color. My acrylic nails are lifting already and it hasn't even been a week. I have NEVER had my acrylic nails lift, in my life. I never knew what people were talking about "lifting" until now. Also I am seeing now, as my nail grows, the acrylic was not blended into my natural nail and that's someone that I look for in a good set of nails. My favorite little nail salon! The owner is so friendly, fast and does a great job! She always squeezes me in, even on busy days and works around my busy schedule as well. Used to be one of the best nail salons in the area but recently the service has gotten really bad. They rush you through and the polish looks terrible or starts to peel off within days. Prices have increased but quality of their services has seriously gone downhill. read more

The shop is old and dusty, the products and tools are old and need replaced. They charged me $10 for a basic polish change (not a French) and the tech didn't even file my nails. I had to ask her to remove the remainder of the old polish, as she'd left it around the edges and under the nail tips. I will not be back. read more

I was optimistic when I first walked in due to the friendliness of the staff and how quickly I was seated. They also seemed to have many colors to choose from, but I had to pick three different ones before I picked a color that they actually had. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and was there for close to two hours. The tech spent close to an hour just rubbing lotion on my legs. She hardly scrubbed the bottoms of my feet and they look as if I hadn't even gotten a pedicure (calluses, dry skin, blisters - the whole reason I went in to begin with). The polish on my toes was also on the skin around my nails but I ignored it figuring it would come off in the shower. The tech was very meticulous with my gel manicure, but two of my nails started chipping a day later. She checked my toes before I left and then put cuticle oil on them. I walked outside and noticed that half of my toes had the polish smeared all over. It looked as if I had painted my toes then run around in the grass outside before letting them dry. I went back in and she repainted them, but this was after I had already paid 8$ more than the price they told me on the phone when I called prior to going in. I'm never going there again. Friendly staff but terrible service. Worst pedicure I've ever gotten. read more

I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and have never had such a horrible experience as I did today. The first 2 colors I picked were not available. He then got irritated when I asked him to shorten my nails. At no point did he ever ask me what length I wanted them. I get very basic nails, fairly short solid colors and coffin shaped. He spent over an hour trying to make simple corrections such as the end of my nail not being straight, uneven sides, and just general crappy work. honestly at this point I knew I was not going to be happy but I've never not paid full price for my nails as I know how hard they work. But the polish Is what really ruined them. after three coats and two topcoats , You can still see obvious in perfections, there's places that you can see through and you can very clearly see a lump the polish begins. At this point I was done I don't have the time to spend two hours getting a simple fill, so I asked how much I owed them. They told me the full price and when I explained why I thought that was unfair, the man started getting aggressive and loud with me. He blamed everything on me, saying the reason my shape is not coffin is because I had him fix them too many times. Then the woman started carrying on about how I'm trying to take their hard-earned money and not pay them. I never once said I didn't want to pay them, I just feel that painful price for a set of meals I'm gonna have to go and get re-done tomorrow is unjustified. The normal price is $30, I told him I would give them $20 tip him and not leave a they told me the full price and when I explained why I thought that was unfair, the man started getting aggressive and loud with me.
