Before I could fully…read moreexplain what I needed, I was met with a condescending tone, unnecessary questioning, and an overall lack of professionalism. I understand that rush orders may not always be possible, and I would have had no problem being told that respectfully. The issue was not the answer--it was how I was spoken to. That was especially disappointing because this is a local business, and I genuinely wanted to support a shop in the community. I had also heard positive things about the quality of their work, which is why I reached out in the first place. Unfortunately, the customer service experience immediately made me feel unwelcome and discouraged me from doing business with them. Good work matters, but so does treating potential customers with basic respect. I would rather spend my money with a company that communicates professionally, values its customers, and is willing to be helpful--even when it cannot accommodate a request.

It did not fit correctly at all. the boning was ill fitting and it was too small which a dieting bride never wants. In a complete panic I called Stacey and not only did she soothe me on the phone she promised we would find a solution and we did. She removed the zipper and found a black corset backing in her shop (meant to be!). She had it ready in just a week and it honestly looked better once she added the corset backing. Stacey made an upsetting situation one of my favorite parts of my big day. I will go to her again and again.

There was no rush for these to be picked up but was told Friday they would be ready. Fast forward to Friday morning to pick the pairs of jeans/pant up and they only have the jeans ready. The alteration job was very poorly done. Gone is the original hem. They cut the bottom off a few inches folded the flap and sewed with one single thread, no seam press, and threads were loose and coming out already. The only thing done right was getting the length. I mention this to the lady and she says she will work on it herself and have it ready later that evening. The pants needing the patchwork were not even worked on and said they would have it ready now next Monday. I return 1 hour before close to pick up the jeans and the stitching was just run back and forth on a couple of the loose threads from originally. It actually looked worse now and the same lady mentions she will fix this and do it herself. The jeans will supposedly be ready next Monday now. I'm really disappointed in this place. I can not recommend this as a good alteration shop and would recommend somewhere else that has the know how and skill to do things right

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience so that others can…read moremake an informed decision. We brought my daughter's senior prom dress to this shop for alterations after hearing many positive recommendations. The dress was her dream prom dress and cost approximately $350. From the beginning, the owner mentioned that the requested alteration might be difficult due to the design of the dress. However, the shop accepted the job and never indicated that the alteration could not be completed successfully. When we picked up the dress, it had significant fit issues, visible puckering, uneven stitching, and multiple snags in the fabric. We returned immediately, and to their credit, the staff was kind and agreed to attempt repairs. When we picked up the dress for a second time, not only were many of the original concerns still present, but the dress had additional snags, pulls, loose threads, and further damage to the fabric. When I pointed out the condition of the dress, I was told that the material was very sensitive and that precautions had been taken while handling it. While I understand that some fabrics require extra care, the dress was returned to us in worse condition than when it was originally dropped off. Throughout the process, the owner was polite and not argumentative. I also appreciate that the shop refunded the alteration fee without hesitation. My disappointment is not with the customer service, but with the outcome and the lack of accountability for the condition in which the dress was returned. In the end, my daughter was left without a wearable version of the dress she had chosen for her senior prom. I am sharing this experience because I wish I had known beforehand that a delicate fabric and a more complex alteration carried a risk of significant damage. Had I seen a review describing an experience like ours, I would have chosen a different option for such an important dress.
