My husband and son got their second haircuts here and they were awesome. Bray did a wonderful job. I love how this place is innovative and aware of how to give regular people awesome trendy haircuts as my son is always wanting to look like his most current kid idol such as the ninja kids or even animated characters he knows they have cool styles and he wants to look cool even at 4 years old.

This review is specifically on Alexis. I have been taking my son to Alexis for over a year now. There have been a handful of time we have gone elsewhere in the event that we are unable to make it to Unique Cuts, but whenever we do, I schedule with Alexis. He has always been very nice to my son and I, and he is very detailed when cutting hair. He makes both my boys look amazing. With that being said, a few weeks ago, on March 31st I scheduled an apt for one of my sons, I needed his hair cut that day, and Alexis had no more available appointments, so I scheduled with someone else. When I arrived, I checked in at the front desk, and told the woman my sons name "Amiel", she proceeded to confirm my appointment was with Luis, and I said yes, she told us to have a seat, so we did, moments later I saw Alexis approach the front desk speaking with the woman in Spanish, then he looked at me, motioning for us to come back. I was a bit confused as I knew I did not schedule an appointment with Alexis, though I had wanted to. Another gentleman who worked there asked me if I had two appointments, and I said no, just one. He then told me that I was scheduled for two, I said I didn't know why their system was showing that, because I only scheduled one. They began to speak to one another and the gentleman asked me if I wanted to just go ahead and have my other son get a haircut too since two appointments had already been scheduled. I said no, because my other son just had a haircut a week prior, and was not in need of one. They said okay, and Alexis took my son in the back to cut his hair. My son came to get me to ask what type of hair cut I wanted, so I walked over to Alexis to tell him what style, and he aggressively told my son to "sit down". Alexis is typically soft spoken, and mild mannered, so I convinced myself that I was just misreading him. While my son was getting his hair cut, the same woman from the front desk who I checked in with came in the back and called out "Amiel?" and I looked at her very confused as I already check my son in and he was already having his hair cut. I walked to the front desk where her and the other gentleman who told me I had scheduled two appointments were, and they asked if I scheduled an appointment under the name "Nathan" or "Nathaniel", I told them "no, my appointment is under the name Amiel" like I previously stated several times. Turns out, Nathan was the person who scheduled two appointments with Alexis, and even though I told them the name in which the appointment was under, they assumed it was under another name, and my son ended up taking one of Nathan's appointment. This was a simple mistake made by the woman at the front desk. And I was not upset about it at all. It was not my fault, nor my sons fault. Alexis cut my sons hair pretty fast at this appointment, and I noticed lots of hair all over my sons face when he finished, which he typically makes sure to blow off. I thought nothing of it, paid for the hair cut and tipped Alexis as usual. On our way home my son proceeded tell me that Alexis was very rough with him during his hair cut and seemed to have an attitude. I am assuming that Alexis thought I had made two appointments, and then only followed through with one, which caused him to lose money, and this is why he was annoyed, taking it out on my son by being rough with him. My son is only 10 and he is very chill. So for him to express that he noticed an attitude and a roughness from Alexis while he got his hair cut was so disappointing. I am giving this review a 3 star instead of something lower because Alexis has a great skill and eye for cutting hair, and consistently does a great job, so I will not take that away from him. But as loyal customers, It was very upsetting for my son to be treated like that because of a simple mistake made by your staff member. I hope this comment serves as constructive criticism. I would much rather you verbally express your concerns and frustration, or even deny my son a haircut if you THINK we cheated you out of money by scheduling two appointments and then only following through with one. Which we DIDN'T!

Walk ins welcomed and appointments are most ideal. Eduardo really took care of my fade and I will be coming back for sure! Prices are reasonable and this barber shop ambiance is very welcoming and pleasant.

After moving from nyc to Georgia this place is the truth! My son goes here and were super happy w the service and the establishment is nice!

Came in on short notice and they took care of us. Highly recommend this place, haven't been disappointed yet.

Pablo and Marlon do great cuts, the customer service was great. Got to watch futbol while waiting for the cut.

I got an email saying his 1:00 pm appointment was cancelled also. I call the shop and the girl at the desk answered the phone and said "Hello". Not hello Unique Cuts. I had to confirm I was calling the right place. I told her I made an appointment for 1:00 pm and I just got a saying it was cancelled but I didn't cancel it. She said Andre canceled your appointment. Mind you this is the second time since we started going here that they've done this. No phone call or apology. She then tells me he can cut my son's hair at 2 pm instead. I said no thank you. The lack of professionalism and the audacity is what gets me. I made that appointment and he just went and canceled it. So no thank you, we're never going back there. That was rude and unfair. I do NOT recommend this barbershop to anyone. We won't be back!
