I've been to a lot of barber shops in my life time and I can honestly say I really like this shop. All the brothers that cut here are super cool. Most shops are loud, no customer service etc. But not here. I've seen them greet and act the same way since day one always courteous and respectful. They spend a lot of time between haircuts just cleaning before cutting the next head. 2) no cursing. I rarely ever go to a barber and by rarely I mean once a decade. Why? A) I'm too impatient and don't like to wait B) I've been cutting my own hair since I was 11 years old C) I'm too cheap to pay for something I can do myself for free D) I've actually had to recut my hair several times after visiting a new barber. Lately I've found myself too busy and too tired to cut my own hair. Since my yelp buddy Paul always has such a nice haircut, I thought I would check this place out being that he's the Duke and all. Timi greeted me on the phone and assured me he could have me in-and-out on time to get to my appointment across town. True to his word, he "whipped my butter" into shape and I was back on the road stylin' & profilin' in about 20 minutes. THE VERDICT At a cost of $18, it was way more expensive than the last time I got my hair cut, but Timi did an excellent job and I enjoyed the whole barber shop experience. It felt like I've been coming here for years. We talked politics, photography, travel and I even learned where I can get excellent egg rolls! Good music, great conversation... My son decided to cut his dreads. Since we are new to the area and state, I decided to use Yelp to find a barber. Kutz Remix had great reviews so we took a chance. We arrived as a walk-in was greeted by warm smiles from the friendly staff. The ambiance of the barbershop is clean and inviting. Although every chair was full it wasn't long before Raul offered his service. We couldn't be more pleased. His haircut is impeccable. Raul took his time but didn't waste time. He gave great attention to detail to a perfect fade. From start to finish he sat in he chair for less than 40 minuets. In my observation of the other barbers, they too possessed the same quality and every client walked out impeccably groomed and happy. We just moved here from California and took my boys here to get their hair cut. We have been going to the same barber for over a decade and was kind of iffy on who take them to out here in Georgia. Walked in 6:00 no greeting or acknowledgement into as a new walkin. Barber finished a client, walked away no word and commenced to packing up. Another barber came from the back from a extended break and commenced to trimming his beard. Another barber politely plopped down to eat his dinner as I waited still no acknowledgment after 25 minutes, i politely walked away. Great welcome to Atlanta. Guess some aspect of our history remain unchanged but business excellence apparently is history. You might make a few dollars but your business ethics doesn't make sense. read more

Let me start of by saying that I love this spot. It's very comfortable and borderline next door to the new movie theater where you can eat and drink food and alcohol to order as you're watching the movie. They're open daily. I love the barber chairs which are nice and comfortable. I have to drive 20 minutes to get to this spot but it's well worth the trip. read more

Moved to Georgia and been using the same barber for 4 years. Each time they would either mess up my hair or not mess up too badly. Start cutting my own but too much work and patience. Finally decided to try some place new and Kelly cut my hair the first time. Absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is great and everyone is friendly and talkative. Will definitely be coming back. Out of town...husband and son need last minute hair cuts...we thought following Yelp reviews would help...tried Executive barbers, they were completely rude and uninviting...decided to try out this shop, and LOVED it! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Normally they require an appointment, but occasionally take walkins. Kelly I believe was our barber, and she was a breath of fresh air!
