Not dry nor greasy - The chips were dry - The gravy was really thick and lumpy - According to the website, the 2 pieces of cods cost $29.50. I placed 3 orders of cods and chips. I also ordered a large gravy at $3. Somehow the math doesn't add up in the receipt - According to the website picture, there's slaws, but I didn't get any. A friend told me afterward that slaws are separate. Then I think they should exclude the slaw from the pic - No plastic utentils nor condiments were included Maybe this is a case of miscommunication. But for $30, the quality of the cooking should be good at least.

They cooked it up in 15 minutes and packaged it with tartar sauce and other condiments. The pieces of fish aren't that big, and there's a good amount of breading on them. The fish taste is pretty good, though greasy with all the breading. Fries were homemade but too dark in colour and soft. One of our orders was upgraded to poutine that had good brown gravy, but they did not use cheese curds; shame on them. The small container of coleslaw was actually pretty good; nice and crunchy. The inside of the place is plain looking, but it has lots of tables and was pretty clean.

We went to the haddock. The fish portion is quite generous! We went with the 4 piece since there was 3 of us, but probably could have split the 2 piece haddock set! Fries are fresh cut so that's great. Would have liked them more well done. It did have a spot on order form asking what type of fries and I wasn't sure if you could check off 'fresh cut' and 'crispy'. Coleslaw was good and they have a decent amount of tartar sauce in a container. I am not a gravy person for fish n chips so we didn't have much of that but will save it for later. Service was friendly. Restaurant has dine-in and is quite spacious! They have gluten free options too.
