A query to the waitress and she responded - yours are next. Then we get 4 of our 6 orders. And waited for the other two. The. One of the orders was not cooked fully, so she then waited. Did I mention it took an HOUR from order to first delivery, and then longer for the two chicken sandwiches, then longer for the re-fire on the under cooked burger. The burger I had was good but in no way worth any type of wait. And the place wasn't even packed!! Good burgers and onion rings. EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE. And really not attentive for a small town restaurant. I would pass on this place. It's good but not worth a trip out of the way, nor worth waiting.

Union Dairy has amazing ice cream! I've lived all over WI and moved to Freeport 3 years ago. I have never been to an ice cream parlor quite like Union Dairy. Their flavor choices are amazing! I love Firecracker, Superman and classic Blue Moon. So smooth and creamy :) The prices may be a little high but you pay for what you get. Amazing ice cream for a ok price. read more

It's sad how badly this once-great old style ice cream parlor has declined. They try, the kids who work there are nice, but they're poorly trained and unfocused. The ice cream is great, but the quality of the other food has declined with the service. No longer worth the price. read more
