So a bald guy goes to a barber, no this isn't the first line of a joke. I am bald and I did go to the barber to see about my quarantine beard that had gotten out of control. I looked like a mountain man, nothing wrong with that, but I guess I looked too much of a mountain man for the wife and she wanted me to get my beard under control. I called and made an appointment. If I could give 10 stars I would. James is my son's favorite barber. We travel from LA to see him because he will not trust anyone else with his hair. LOL. He will go months and let his hair grow out homeless style instead of going to someone else. James is extremely professional and passionate about what he does and he truly cares about the client's vision. So our last barber became a crazy conspiracy theorist and scared my children. I looked around for a place that was groovey and respected customers when it came to say Covid or the flu. I found Union on Yelp and Google and decided to check it out. I did a walk-in which I do most of the time, but found out there isn't a fee for a reservation like most places (Thanks Andy). The shop is cool, very manly with the Husky tool boxes for their hardware. Vu has cut both my kids hair and is super awesome and friendly. The rest of the guys are super nice and chatty like you would expect from a local barber shop. Prices are pretty good for the post Covid times.
