Without exaggeration, Anthony gave me the best haircut I've ever had. For over a decade, I only got very simple clipper cuts, but I finally decided to try a professional haircut, and Anthony did not disappoint. During the consultation, I showed him a few inspo pics. Instead of just copying them, he took the time to explain why those styles wouldn't work well for my hair, face shape, and features. He then recommended a style that would suit me better, and he was absolutely right. He also showed me how to style my hair, which was something I'd never really done before. The result exceeded our expectations, and both my wife and I are extremely happy with how it turned out. Anthony has officially become my new barber/hairstylist. 100/10. read more

My barber was very considerate and gave me the best haircut I ever had. He even had some good tips when it came to growing out my facial hair while being an engaging conversation the entire time whether it be the World Cup or Disney Parks. read more

LI highly recommend Ikigai Concept to anyone who truly values quality, time, and the effort that goes into a great haircut experience. Anthony, my go-to barber, consistently delivers not just clean, precise cuts but an overall experience that's relaxed, intentional, and consistently uplifting. He's chill and easy to talk to, yet always dialed in when it's time to get to work--there's a real sense of care and craft in what he does. From the moment I walk in, the ambiance at Ikigai sets the tone--laid-back, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. Whether it's the music, the setup, or just the energy in the space, it's always a vibe. I genuinely look forward to every appointment, and I always walk out feeling reset and confident, like a new man. What I appreciate most about Anthony is his patience and flexibility--he never rushes the process and is always open to feedback or adjustments. It's clear he takes pride in his work, and that kind of consistency and attention to detail is rare. He deserves more recognition for how much he puts into every cut. If you're looking for more than just a haircut--if you're looking for someone who respects the art of it--I can't recommend Anthony and Ikigai Concept enough. read more

I started going to Anthony for his signature cuts and my hair has never looked better! Coming here is definitely better than the 10-20 dollar haircuts I was getting before. I actually come out of the appointment happy with my hair and it continues to look good even when the hair grows out. Anthony actually takes the time to study my face shape and recommend styles and cuts that suit my face. The shop is small but has a clean aesthetic and all the tools he needs to get the job done. Honestly it kinda makes me want to get thr Dyson hairdryer since Anthony styles my hair better than I can do it myself. read more

After going to the same barber for over 20 years, I was nervous about making a change. I had always gotten a solid haircut, but I was ready for something different, specifically a comb over, and knew I needed someone who could do the change. A friend recommended Anthony, and I'm so glad I went. He listened carefully to what I wanted and somehow delivered even better than I expected. The precision and attention to detail are next-level--it genuinely feels like art. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He's passionate, knowledgeable, and completely confident in his work. I walked out feeling refreshed and excited about my look. After two decades with the same person, and now sticking to Anthony, that says everything. Highly recommend. read more

THE BEST!! I write this review with absolutely zero exaggeration. I normally leave other barber shops disappointed in one way or another. This is hands down the BEST experience I have ever had in my 38 years of life. From the very get go Anthony was very welcoming, I didn't show him a single picture, I let him know what I was trying to go for and he helped guide me through the style for that haircut he thought would best suit my age, face shape, head shape etc. he used techniques I didn't even know existed. The man is dual licensed in both cosmetology and barbering, so he excels with clippers and scissors which my cut was scissors majority. We chatted the whole time, and he even ask my 5 year old daughters opinion on the cut (we all know kids cut with knives due to there inability to lie about opinions, she loved it by the way.) He took his time which went over our appointment window, never made me feel rushed and even taught me how to style it and little tricks. I finally found a barber and will not be hoping around anymore. I can't express enough how grateful/thankful I am Anthony. I will see you at the next appointment!!! read more

If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your hair and your experience, Anthony is the guy. He doesn't just cut hair--he treats each appointment like a personal art project. From the moment you sit in his chair, he listens, asks the right questions, and takes his time to understand exactly what you're going for. The attention to detail he brings to every cut is something you don't see often. I've never felt rushed, and that patience speaks volumes. He's not just giving you a cut--he's making sure you walk out with something that fits you perfectly, whether it's your go-to style or something fresh and new. anthony is the best!!! always keeps it clean and consistent with his cuts! highly recommend his services.

I grew up in my uncles' barbershop and have been obsessed with my hair from a young age, and I have never had a barber with the level of attention + care that Anthony displays every single time he cuts my hair. Most barbers are either good at the clipper work with bad scissor work...or good at the scissor work with bad clipper game. And yet Anthony is the ultra rare tactician where he takes his time to get your taper dialed in and THEN he's tending to the length on top with scissors work that always frames the face in a way that flatters the shape of my head. If you are looking for a new home, look no further. Anthony will become your go-to guy with a quickness. read more

Anthony is great, professional, precise, and always consistent. He doesn't just cut hair, he delivers a full experience. I started going to Anthony at the end of the covid shutdown back in 2020. It was love at first cut. He took the time to understand my style and crafted a haircut that exceeded my expectations. From then on it was a no brainer to keep going with Anthony. He even ended up doing my hair when I got married and it stayed the way he styled it all day and night. I've been following Anthony wherever he worked so I was extremely excited for Anthony when he opened up his own shop. Ikigai is hands down the best barbershop out there.
