I love barber shops like this. I don't have a lot of hair and I don't want to pay a lot for thin haircut. I need a number two on the razor scale and you trim up on my backside. All the stylists are professional, friendly and kind. The attendant I engage with is Jackie. She knows her stuff and I have followed her to various locations, in her career. Haircuts are probably the most popular, but they also offer service to women in hair coloring, styling and personal care. Jackie is expert in all facets of cosmetology and takes great care of her customers. The vibe is super casual. I would give this shop 0 stars if I could. First off my son received a hair cut from here and had a older gentlemen cut his hair which I thought he would be really good based off the reviews but he clipped my sons ear and then said it was my sons fault that he couldn't stay still. Then I decided to give them one more chance I got my hair cut done by Jackie I asked for a simple hair thinning and 1 inch taken off the length but while Jackie was combing my hair she ended up pulling my piercing off my ear with her comb and didn't bother to apologize. Then after she took an inch off she must have been in a rush or something because she forgot I asked her to thin my hair out. :/ I had to remind her and I felt as though she was being a bit rude on top of all that neither hair stylists apologized to me or my son. I found a hair salon down the street which offered much better service and the stylist was much more detail oriented and friendly. I do not recommend coming to this salon unless you want to end up with an upsetting experience. read more

I came here and it's been 8 years because I remember how messed up my hair was but I came bc it's near my house and I wanted to give it a shot. This is the ugliest haircut I've ever had but hey, you pay for what you get. He wet my hair which is normal but the barber didn't even have a blow dryer so I can't see the finished version and the front of my hair was long,,, I totally forgot he didn't even cut the front of my hair bc i was busy being nervous on the rest of my hair throughout, The guy didn't have a blow dryer so he used this pressurized air shooter which surprised me. When I asked the dude to dry my hair, he pulled that air shooter out and I was like really.... It was $10 and I gave a $20 and he gave me a $10 bill but I wanted to tip so I asked for 2 $5's which he just held one of the $5's like ok.... I don't know why would a barber just expect anyone's hair to look good while it's only wet, better yet not use a blow dryer bc I came home and I knew how terrible my hair was when I washed and dried it so I just came back. I appreciate him trying to help, but honestly I was bummed that I had to drive back because I went back home to dry my hair since it was wet and I saw how bad of a haircut it was -- the front was so long and it wasn't even blended so my sides were short while the top was full so it was extremely uneven. read more

Good price and service on a cut and beard trim. According to the review distribution here, you either love it or you hate it. I don't try to get fancy with any of my requests, if I did, I'd go to a salon. Hit me with a 2/4 up top and keep my beard even. That's pretty much it. I've sat in almost every chair there outside of the queue chairs (have never had to wait), most recently my barber was Amy, and she was great. I've never been dissatisfied with any of my cuts at Andy Barber. Would definitely reccomend. read more

I took my son for a haircut today. Karen took care of his hair and she so messed up his hair. I asked for number 18 cut in the picture but she cut them so short that now he has no choice but to wear his hair spiky. And my son hates spiky hair. When I mentioned to Karen that what she did doesn't look like the one om the picture. She said that my son's hair can only be cut short for spiky hair style... so not happy read more

I have been here twice now. The first time I got a pretty decent hair cut and for the price I couldn't be mad. Sadly I just went in today and Karen gave me possibly the worst haircut I have ever received. I asked for a simple fade starting at a 2. She decided to just shave the sides of my head a straight 2 then argued with me and said that she blended it. On top of that my head is super patchy. Somehow she even messed up my sideburns. One is curved up and the other is down. If your in a pinch and have to go here just make sure you do not let Karen cut your hair. read more

Andy Barber shop is under new ownership by Barber and owner Andy aka "the young Andy" This barber shop is fully staffed with 6-7 hairdressers and is conveniently open 7 days a week from 9am-6pm. The staff here is incredibly friendly and and courteous. The shop has plenty of seating, looks great and is extremely clean. There's plenty of parking space and it's a perfect family barber shop. What else can you ask for when looking for a great cut and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop to the whole Family and remember to ask for the "young Andy" for an amazing haircut every Sunday and Monday. Just a quick tip- Young Andy's haircut styles are by far worth more than what he charges and you would normally pay up to $30-45 dollars for the same quality hairstyle he offers. My husband and I both had our hair cut by young Andy. Since he came highly recommended we made an appointment ahead of time to make sure he was available. He was very patient and really took his time and made several helpful recommendations. I can tell that he is very experienced and it felt good that he was not rushing. We left the shop very satisfied and our wallet was happy, too. If you specifically want your hair cut by Andy I suggest making an appointment. Even though I don't live in OC anymore I always make the trek to get my hair cut by Andy. He gets my hair right every time (medium-length layers and he thins out my hair). I never feel like he is rushing to get done even though I have really thick and long hair. And I'm always happy with the way my hair looks. If you're looking to get a regular hair cut done, any regular barber will do, with varying degrees of successes and disappointments. With Andy's Barber however, you're getting your hair cut by an artist. I was surprised by how well Andy (the new younger owner) took his time to give me the best hair cut I've had from as far back as I can remember. A bad barber would speed run through the process to meet the daily quota, with quality being second. Andy puts quality first and foremost, treating every client he has as a canvas that requires time and effort to look as perfect as it does! Despite his young age, this man spent many years mastering his craft, and it certainly shows. The crew and the entire atmosphere felt very welcoming and homey: with a netflix documentary playing displaying beautiful scenery of our planet. I will give Andy credit that he even noticed my interest in the documentary and accommodated for that by rotating my chair to watch the television while he did his work. She did me very dirty on my cut I told her to take 2inches off she took about 4 inches off pretty much shaved my head same with my dad
