The store's claim to offer a curated and custom haircut for your specific needs has a double meaning: if you don't know exactly how you want your hair to be then you're kinda out of luck. I didn't receive any tangible advice or suggestions on how to approach cutting my hair when I said I didn't know and that I normally leave it to the barber. I told the barber I normally get "sports cuts" and he said he didn't know what that means and ended that conversation right there. I felt resistance towards requesting further adjustments (and ended up getting charged 20 dollars more for it) from the barber. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he didn't seem friendly nor accomodating so the whole experience felt more like a confusing chore rather than a treatment.

When I found Sarah I was so excited to have found a place geared towards men grooming and styling without the cheesy rock a billy barber shop feel, and without feeling like i was in a women's salon. But you still call him instead of people already in the room and on time. And even though he showed up really late, he gets the haircut over people waiting and on time. 2. Another customer at same time frame brings coffee and somehow gets haircut ahead of me. If he checked in before me then I'm sorry I take it back but from my optics, it didn't look like it.
