She cut my hair short and then tried to use a hairdryer and comb to make it look like the pictures, but it did not work. I showed her the reference photos again and asked if she could get help from someone else. She asked a colleague, who showed her how to cut the style, but she still seemed unsure how to do it. Eventually, the owner had to step in and finish the haircut for me. For a long-hair haircut that cost about $100 total ($85 for the haircut plus a $15 tip), I was very disappointed with the experience. At this price point, I expected the stylist to be able to achieve the hairstyle she had confirmed she could do, or to be upfront from the beginning if it was outside her expertise. Unfortunately, based on my experience, it was not worth the price or time.

Before I found Lauren, I hated my hair. I've had thin, hard to grow hair my whole life but was worried about getting hair extensions, wondering if they would be uncomfortable or not look natural. Both Sonia and Lauren are experts with all different types extensions, and Sonia in particular, has a special touch with hair coloring and highlighting. I have been coming here for several years and have seen them work their magic on what would appear to be lost causes. Now my hair has some awkward color band because she never colored up to the root .. and my new growth she had colored was only like a quarter of an inch. & she got an attitude when I asked if it was toner or color... because she called it two different things so how was I suppose to know? Also, you text your clients, some people are going to text you before work and school so you don't have to get an attitude because I'm texting early. If you're getting your kids ready for school, put your phone down. Rude and talent less stylist. That's a shame Latina stylists treat other latinas like that. I thought since we have a similar background, it would be easier for her to do my hair. I would recommend someone else cus she will literally ruin your hair by not even dying up to the root leaving you with a blotchy job & tell you you need to proceed with a color correction to fix it when no stylist in their right mind would color a quarter of inch of hair. Avoid her at all costs and save yourself the trauma she brings. This salon is nothing but a bunch of unhappy people gossiping all day. Also I see she offers no refunds, which make sense since she's messing peoples hair up and then getting an attitude when they ask what was done to it, and a question as simple as "was it a color or a toner" sets her off and makes her refuse to work with you again. It's okay I don't wanna work with you you're a certified hater who dyes a quarter of an inch hair and leaves a huge band.Like be foreaaaalll! Never seen a stylist get so upset by asking if it's a toner or a color.. it seems that she wants you to give her all your trust like she is some kinda of hair god and not ask her any questions .. cuz you're not worthy of answers and how dare you ask questions. Edit : nah I had one or two stylists mess up my hair and a student like ever .. I've been to plenty stylists with no issue .. you're exaggerating the issue .. I thought your phone was a business phone .. no one is taking you from your kids or making you answer .. she only got an attitude because she gave it first... that's it!!! And I'm not talking about yesterday's job I'm talking about the time before that.. all I asked is what is a toner or a color & you got an attitude. Race is relevant because I would expect a person of a similar ethnicity or background to be able to do my hair.. not sure this long made up story to distract she's posting.

I've now tried a couple of different extension types with Lilly from Keratin bonds to hand tied wefts. I have to say I absolutely loved all of them! They made my hair so much fuller and Lilly was able to match my color perfectly each time. She did such a great job, the Keratin bonds lasted a full 6 months and needed minimal touch ups. On top of my beautiful extensions, she consulted me on the types of shampoos, conditioners, and other hair care products I should use to take care of them properly and to make my hair last as long as possible. Her haircuts are also amazing! She carefully trims my split ends everytime I see her and she has my hair growing back a lot longer and healthier because of it. I highly recommend Lilly! I highly suggest and wouldn't change her service and price point are decent. She is flexible in scheduling just don't come with attitude, no hair, and sick or drama.
