My friend's wife said I should try some stockings that are made to help me with this problem. She said her brother had been dealing with the same thing and had gone to a local business and had gotten great service and that a lady there had been very helpful. I drove around until I found uniform Specialists of Katy. I couldn't figure out how a uniform place could be helpful. When I went inside I was greeted by a lovely lady by the name of Theresa who knew exactly what I needed and took me to an area in the store where she proceeded to introduce me to compression stockings and explained that these things could most likely help my problem. Fortunately there were not a lot of other people shopping at the time and she was very thorough I'm explaining the value of these stockings. She left me going through these stockings and went to help other customer with other items but returned quickly after she did what she had to do. What really impressed me was her lovely smile and friendly demeanor to me and everyone she dealt with. I spent some time in retail earlier in my life but quickly decided that so many people are rude and really couldn't give a damn about me... I found another line of work. Even though I heard one lady being rude this Theresa always kept that smile and helpful attitude throughout. She always returned to me quickly and answered all of my questions and helped me find what I needed. I have used those stockings regularly and have purchased replacements back home. As a consumer I have bought all kinds of stuff throughout the years but still remember the kindness and attention not just to getting what I needed but to make sure I was comfortable with the process. I'm glad she explained that my first time wearing these stockings would feel weird and even a bit uncomfortable. The word compression is sure accurate. I bet I was there for an hour looking at all of the stuff in that part of the store bur she never lost patience with me or tried to rush me. And as a guy I have to be honest not only was she helpful and patient with me but she was a very pretty lady also. Thank you Theresa. You Rock!

Here goes my very first negative review…read more.. Just FYI, I won't go scrub shopping until I absolutely have to.  I HATE scrub shopping. I am different sizes in shirts/ pants. I am also in the middle of 2 sizes, which either look too tight or too sloppy. Neither is a good look in my field.  I usually end up mismatching brands, styles,  and sizes to find something comfortable that genuinely fits. I already felt bad going in bc you can't hang up your own items. I have to try on two sizes of any style, but what can I do.  Patients will see me in these scrubs. I'll be spending most of my long days living in them. It is imperative to find the right ones. About an hour in the girl asks me if I'm looking for anything in particular bc I'm "trying on the same things twice". I explained that any style i try on i have to try 2 sizes. She shakes her head and disagees as I am talking, like "no they were the same".  Why should I have to explain anything to her? Am I not allowed to see a previous shirt with the pants I am currently trying on? Absurd. It ended up taking me a little over 2 hours to find the perfect scrubs x3, a jacket, and 2 undershirts.  I am not the one buying the scrubs, and I had asked the girl upon arrival if they could hold them until tomorrow. She said yes, for 1 day.  I had taken pictures of the price tags to send to the buyer.  Feeling satisfied and accomplished, I went to the register.  The man then said they could only hold my order until 6:45 PM. I told him I would return in the AM after the buyer approved the purchase.  "Um, we can't be doing all this trying on again, and taking all these pictures etc. You've been here for over two hours." Like I am some child being reprimanded for something. Wow. First off, he sees that I have made my selections. Common sense says that I'm probably done trying on scrubs. But he still felt the need to say it, just to express his annoyance. What if i had needed to try something else on? What if I had bought another few hundred dollars worth of scrubs? I really don't understand from a business or a personal perspective.  Was it really THAT much of a hassle to rehang the clothes? It couldn't have taken more than a few minutes. How can anyone in sales be that lazy when that is literally their job? But there is no other reason. I didn't have a purse/bag so I'm obviously not stealing. It was a decent sale over $200. They weren't busy. Nobody was waiting on a dressing room. They weren't about to close. They had just opened, so no other scrubs to hang up already. I definitely don't feel welcome here anymore. I will buy my scrubs online instead. It's a shame bc not only do I live close, but I, as do many of my colleagues, spend quite a bit on work attire. And I will probably dread trying on scrubs even more next time.  Shoutout to Discount Uniforms for somehow making one of my very least favorite activities even more unpleasant.

I was helped quickly, had my knee measured, and the lady inside took several out of the boxes and helped me find the right fit/style. There was a bit of a wait while she helped the people in front of me, but aside from that it was great. There was a big selection of knee braces, and all kinds of other devices, braces, wraps, and things. Lots of uniforms and scrubs along with parking signs, tools, and all manner of things I didn't recognize. Really a good experience and helpful.

If scrubs are what you need then these will come to your rescue, although I've never been rescued by hospitalwear, not even when in a hospital. They're much cheaper than you would expect, and it's much better getting them from here then most other stores, although you can also get them cheap online of course. But we're definitely fans, and since two of Barbi's relatives are in the medical profession, it's just one of the things we usually get for stocking stuffer type presents.

Fitting rooms are available to try on your items before you buy (I don't like returning stuff and yall know how these scrub stores do.) The young lady working there was so nice and helpful. They have a ton of options to choose from. Just keep in mind that certain colors, that you may need, can be limited.

GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR IN WRITING!…read more Guy told me word of mouth while we made the deal in person $150 for 100 patches and 50 American Flags. Remember this fact please. The owner is rude. No professionalism over the phone, but shows more in person. Placed an order of patches that took 3 months to come in when initially that time frame was never said. I was expected to wait a month & a half or 2 months as said initially. He doesn't check on your order after you pay, I called him 1 once every 2 weeks to check in and he always had an attitude saying maybe next week or 2. I wait, then same answer after AGAIN. I get there to pickup finally and he's trying to promote me to buy some more items and when I say dude I already waited 3 months for the patches I'm going to take my money elsewhere for the uniform work the look on his face could tell it all he was upset. He thanked us for our patience then immediately spoke in Spanish for the worker to grab the receipt from the back. She comes back and he hands it to me and the only thing on the receipt is just $100 patches and he looks at me with this smug look like checkmate. No issue it's just $50 we got money. But real douchebag move, he says one thing and doesn't write it down so it's your word vs his record that he made up, not what you spoke about. This was always one of my favourite stores in the West Oaks Mall because it's nothing like your typical Mall store. They sell all kinds of work uniforms and other uniforms and they do it very cheaply. Perfect for the masses, then. A great reason to come to the mall. They seem to have a big mark down on basically everything, and that makes it well worth coming into the mall just for this shop. In fact I think a lot of the people that come into the West Oaks Mall come in just for this place. Straight here, cash out, straight back outside. Other stores probably owe some of their business to the draw of Uniform Zone, honestly. You come in for Scrubs and you walk by Bath & Body, and end up spotting something you want and before you know it you have 10 bags from 5 stores and $220 more dollars down on your CC. Whatever uniforms you're looking for though, they probably have something like it here, and it's probably cheaper than you think.
