Today I went to this bank to cash a payroll check. Girl behind the counter asked for id no problem I gave her license. Then she asked me to stand there and wait while she called to verify something. She actually called the company that issued the check and due to the businesses being very busy, they'd have to call back..this is ridiculous, what's the point routing numbers, account numbers? Like, really? I could have been standing there all day. She then had the balls to scold me cuz I asked politely for check back so I could just go deposit at my bank. Scold the customer cuz I don't have account with them!! I will NEVER do business with these chumps! read more

Today I pulled up at the drive through to case some checks. The young girl asked me what I wanted to do with them. I had them signed and I told her to cash them, that if I wanted to deposit them I would have put a deposit slip in there. This sort of thing happen a lot. I may have one check to cash and a deposit slip with another check, both are signed and they still ask me what to do with them. Why are these clerks so dumb, I'm sick of it. Today the young girl was very fresh and was in my face saying "you have just a wonderful day" like very sarcastic. She needs to be disciplined. read more

Stay far away from Unibank. They messed up our account from the day we opened it until the day it was closed. The customer service reps seem to make up the rules as they go along, flip flopping on decisions and making you jump through unnecessary hoops. They try to cover up their incompetency with their "friendly" hometown approach, but don't be fooled. They have no idea what they're doing and it will consume your time and patience. This bank is horrible. I have been a long time loyal customer since 1997. We have had a mortgage here, that was paid off, long before it was due. I thought that would get us a good reputation or at least some credit. NO.....We have one business account and 5 or 6 personal accounts with Unibank for many year, as well. I went for a small loan $20,000. (not $200,000) and you would think I was trying to buy an Island. They have asked for more docuementation than anything I have ever seen. This is rediciouls. It's almost like they are still writing out pen and paper applicaitons. The timing is horrible and they ask questions like you are some criminal and trying to steal from them. I am not perfect, but I'd put a bet on it, that my credit score is well into the 700-800 range. There are so many other banks in the same town....Consider going to a larger bank, maybe your experience will be better than ours. read more
