Wow, what an amazing experience with Speed Wax. From my initial phone call to my actual appointment…read morethey were so informative + helpful. Let me start w some back story - had a wax at another chain and it was a very bad experience so I came in rather hesitant. I will never go anywhere else now. Jari was my esthetician and was a gem from the second she greeted me in the waiting room until I was done. I read other reviews that said she has "fast hands" and didn't know what that meant - now I would say the same thing. The waxing was painless, she was informative, made me feel comfortable and did a great job. Already booked my next appointment with her. If you have had a bad experience or any doubts, try Speed Wax and they will change your mind!

This is a very cute place with wonderful customer service. They fit me in on the same day when my…read morepractitioner was very friendly. I had a great time chatting with them throughout. Unfortunately, at the end of my wax, I was left covered in baby powder, usually I'm cleaned up but on top of that there was still bits of wax and hairs all over me. I pointed this out to them. They went back in and remove the hair from the areas that I pointed out. It wasn't until I arrived home and showered, and then the next day I noticed so many areas were missed. I've put off writing this review for a few weeks because my practitioner was so nice and I had a great time chatting with them. But the actual attention to detail wax was very disappointing. I may return and try a different practitioner someday. This was a wildly different experience from my previous waxers, and unfortunately not in a positive way. The lack of attention to details so frustrating, especially now I have to go home and be raising hair on my own after paying for it to be done. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of two or three is because they are very friendly accommodating there. And I'm sure if I had called the next day to go back they would've made space for me to come in. It felt like a very professional place. (after spending over an hour there being waxed I just didn't feel like going back for a second go.)

I was able to book an appointment online for the very next day; scheduling was quick, easy, and incredibly convenient. Check-in was seamless when I arrived, and I only waited about five minutes before being taken back. I saw Anastasia, and she was so sweet and professional. She did an amazing job, and I've already scheduled my six-week follow-up appointment. I'm so glad I found this place and will definitely be coming back!

I literally can't make this up. I'm in awe of the unprofessional and toxic behavior. I will be contacting the police if she attempts to message me again for leaving my honest customer review. Unhinged! I will let the pics speak for themselves but I'm honestly embarrassed that I wasted so much money here. I have a habit of ignoring red flags! From the times Jamila showed up late for my appts looking like she rolled out of bed after a binge night to the constant gossip and trash talking of other salons and how everyone was always out to ruin her business. I now see she does that to anyone who dare challenge her questionable business practices. Overpriced trash. Don't even get me started about Shaunda. Smh. The audacity she has to try and be condescending when talking to people, including myself. lol The only one I feel sorry for is Rosie. She's a sweetheart but you can see they are sucking the life out of her in that place. Hopefully she wakes up and goes to a salon that will teach her better business practices and ethics, not encourage her to go to bars to get customers. SMH I literally can't make this stuff up.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this place is great. I started coming here a couple of…read moremonths ago purely because the person that does my pedicures and eyebrow waxing decided to start working here. So...given that I followed her here, to a location further away from my house, I suppose it is safe to say that I'm a fan of her work. This place benefits to have her. I was pleased to find that they offer the clients a reward system - after you receive a certain number of services you get a discount on your next service. This is a nice perk to now have access to. It is easy for me to make appointments as I am able to make contact directly. They accept cards and Zelle as forms of payment but note that the 2.5% credit card fee is passed on to the customer. Also, if you choose to pay via Zelle, you'll have to manually add on any desired tip amount unless you prefer to give your tech their tip in cash. Their prices are a little more than what I was paying previously so I made some slight modifications to what I usually get done. The facility is a good size with a good number of pedicure chairs and tech tables. There is one room for waxing and services that use or require privacy. The ambiance is calm, and the lighting is bright. I noticed that they did add a bit of Holdiay decor with each of the Fall holidays. The business is located in a small strip mall so there is a good amount of parking all around the building. Thus far, I've always been fortunate enough to find a parking spot near the entrance.

During my pedicure I said just clear. The tech went and got the clear gel didn't say it would be an extra charge- I did not ask for gel. 1- drying time didn't matter because I still had to do my nails. And 2- I didn't want none of the colors they had for my toes. I have Mooncat polish at home. Extra $5 for shaping my nails into almond. Honestly I was going to tip her the $10 because she put in so much work shaping my nails so they looked good. If you provide a service don't nickel and dime your customers. Why tip? You did not go above and beyond in our service. I had to tell you the drill hurt me twice. My hands were gritty was the powders and filing but you didn't instruct me to wash my hand during the service just put cutícula oils on my hands so I looked at them and pointed out my cuticle was lifting on my hand and you then cleaned them up. And was like your done. I went to my car to pour water on them, had powder all on my wrist.
