Reggae's Caribbean Restaurant - Curry Goat

It was disappointing to see the roti on top of the bones chicken and watered down gravy. It was not wrapped neither. I ate the roti 4 hrs after I bought it so the flavours could come together. Didn't really matter I had to debone everything and wrap the roti myself. I know the city of London is filled with people that don't look like you or me, if your gonna sell a roti at least sell It with the options with or with out bone.

I love Carribean food!…read more Atmosphere: Tucked away in the plaza, this place has both a restaurant sit-down area, as well as a take-out area. We decided to go for take-out, but peeking into the restaurant area seemed quite cozy. Service: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Food & Price: Oh my goodness. This place lived up to the hype from the reviews! We ordered both the large jerk chicken (12.99) and the large curry goat (13.99) as well as a side of beef patty (2.50). Personal favourite was the jerk chicken. It is spicy and delicious. The chicken was soft and flavorful, the rice was nicely covered with sauce, and the macaronis and coleslaw balanced the flavors out. The curry goat was also yummy. Personally am not too big of a fan for gamey meats, but my bf enjoyed it thoroughly. Finally, the beef patty was delicious as well. My bf had recently visited Jamaica and he believed that this was probably one of the most authentic places he could find in London that replicated the patties he had overseas. Overall: For the price, the size and the deliciousness of the foods, I recommend you give this place a try!

One of the only unfortunate things about this place is that it took me so long to try it out!…read moreMoody (the owner) is as congenial as they come, with a friendly greeting and a conversation pretty much guaranteed when you come in. It's a walk-in place only, the atmosphere isn't highly developed -- this gets me excited 'cause I know that means the food is good enough to speak for itself. I can't speak for all the menu items here, but everything I've tried has been delicious! (my favourite being the goat curry roti) In addition, they're open 'til 3am on bar nights and offer "doubles", a classic caribbean snack that's basically a chickpea-pastry sandwich, for only $1.50! Its location in the center of downtown, the friendly service, and the delicious food make this place a must for anyone looking to explore what Guelph has to offer.

this is the worse tasting food on the planet. i ordered a boneless chicken roti and i got a gristle…read moreroti i also ordered a stew chicken and the chicken was cold like from out the fridge which tells me that the owner serves people day old food. i am very serious about this place . it is the absolute worst restaurant on the planet. this is the absolute worse representation of any food that comes out of Trinidad and Tobago.!!! this opinion has been justified and tasted by Trinidadians. The worse based on culture any one from the country has ever tasted ... HOW COULD YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD EVER SELL A TRINIDADIAN A GRISTLE ROTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU FOR THIS......... and i have been to this place numerous times to make sure that it was not just by chance that he may have had a bad day.
