I'd put off a much-needed total redesign of my website -- for years, dreading the idea of such a project. Denise made it an enjoyable experience from our first phone call. She took the time to get a real sense of what I do, who my clients are, who I am for that matter. She is creative, energetic, fun, has an incredible design sense, and is super responsive and helpful. She's also a patient teacher and has loads of great advice. Her colleague Geoff designed a beautiful new logo for my company, with great thoughtfulness and care. These are two incredibly talented people. I could not be more pleased with how my new website, logo, and business cards turned out. De La Foye Design Studio delivers excellence. Chicago Women in Philanthropy (www.cwiponline.org) decided to use Epagecity to design our new…read morewebsite after carefully reviewing other options. We ended up picking Epagecity because of the high quality of customer service other clients had experienced, and because of the very user friendly Content Management System they have. We knew that they would do great design (somewhat confined to set templates), but the more important quality they provide that was the deciding factor for us was ease of use. As a nonprofit which relies on volunteers, we needed a hassle free website that would be easy for non-techy people to add new events, photos, articles and make other changes. The Content Management System definitely allows us to do this. We also liked that the set-up was modules that they have designed over time and refined from working with hundreds of clients. We can use as many modules that fit in our current budget, and gradually add more features to the website when we can afford them. We've gotten rave reviews from our new website, and are very pleased with the services provided by Epagecity. Since launching the website, we've had excellent customer service from them - you can tell that by serving so many nonprofits and businesses they understand client needs and how to address them.

These guys had an impressive site and showed up #1 on google so figured they must be good at SEO. I had an initial consultation with an account manager and was very impressed with them as a company, their process and with the account manager and her knowledge as well. I've talked to quite a few web design firms and this was the one I was planning on going with. I had a call on a Friday morning and was told I would get a quote the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. I waited a week before contacting them and was told sorry they will get a quote out right away. I must have followed up with them another 3-4 times and continually was told sorry we'll get one over to you. It's been about a month and never got the quote. This leads me to one of two conclusions. They are either really bad at customer service or my budget of 5k-7k wasn't worth their time. I've come to learn these many of these smaller boutique firms won't touch a build for under 20k. If thats the case thats fine but at least have the courtesy to tell me that. I was disapointed as after my consultation I was thoroughly impressd and was planning on using this company over the dozen or so others I spoke with but unfortunately was never able to get a quote. I know many people are bad at follow up once they have your money but if this is the customer service I get when you are trying to earn my business I can only imagine how bad it is once you have my money.

GREAT design work takes a lot of time and is almost never done properly on the first draft. If the project requires multiple skill sets, then it makes sense that you'll have multiple people helping complete the task. we've found that the price stings a little when you start, but we don't think it's a Doejo thing -- it's just the reality of stepping up into the real world of graphic design. there are plenty of options to have some random friend of a friend design something for free or for cheap, but that's not something you can build a brand on -- and not something that will be there to support your new projects as your brand grows. Doejo will give you amazing results, but they're not mind readers and not necessarily an expert in your brand's industry/field. you'll need to put in the time and effort to FULLY shape the project, get them acquainted with your brand/industry, and collaborate on adjustments to the project's direction throughout the process. The alternative to great agency work like Doejo is.... hiring 2+ design experts, incorporating them into your culture, teaching them your company's mission/goals, and having them tackle all your design/web projects. to do that at the level of Doejo would probably cost $200,000+ every year.

He helped us out when we didn't have much of a budget and created a bit of functionality to our site. Then last year, we chose to upgrade the event page on our site to include fields and gather information. Web 312 delivered this feature quickly and with perfect accuracy. It was exactly what we needed and upgraded our site from functional to decent. Finally, this year, after working with them for the last 2 years and watching them consistently deliver, I had them redo our site completely. They met with me as many times as I asked them to, they were quick to respond to all inquiries, updates and requests I made. They delivered the features that I specifically asked for and added great insight when I needed a little help. Most importantly, they completed the project exactly when they said they were going to. In fact, I told them I needed the site earlier than I actually needed it done just to be safe. But they were on time, which means I got the product earlier than expected...which I KNOW from years of experience is something that rarely happens with web/graphic design projects. I now have a great website that represents our business. You can visit it at www.citizenbar.com I would highly recommend working with Web 312 for any web related project. You will be satisfied with all aspects of your experience.
