We found a huge selection of many games; many more than any of the other stores we checked. I'll keep Cali Games in mind for future game purchases.

It is nice to have a local friendly comic store to help you find old past issues of a comic line or help you find a new title you may enjoy. Selection: Comics are a finicky priced item depending on the collectibility of the line. My first printing of the entire Batman Beyond line that I paid only a few bucks for is worth a lot more today (especially because I got them graded). The selection here is for new titles and back issues are in the more modern line of comics. Anything silver age or earlier is not going to be in the bins. Value: Comics are a value that you find them or the collectors market finds them. You will be paying cover price plus tax for all new titles.

But, this is not all they offer. They also offer a lot of other things, depending on the location. Just as is the case with the stores around Tokyo, each Book-Off is somewhat different in their offerings. This Book-Off is no different. Over the many years that this Book-Off has been in business, it has witnessed an evolution in what they offer for sale. When they first opened, their basic commodity was books, and music, mostly via CDs, along with some movies on VHS and DVD. They also offered various computer games. Over the years these items have changed. At this location, their primary focus has remained on books, but they have also expanded. There has been periods of time when they even offered things like musical instruments. You'd walk by, look in their front window, and they'd have guitars hanging there. I think this is the great thing about the Book-Off stores. They are each unique locations, and though they do focus on books, each store is a very unique entity onto itself, offering a unique collection of which only that particular location focuses upon. As I write this review, what they're offering is books, CDs, DVDs, PC games, some PC controllers, and a little bit of everything else. In some ways, you never really know what you're going to find here, which makes this a fun shop to look into. This business is located on the lower level of the Del Amo Mall. There are records, cassette tapes, dining ware, toys, pottery and anything you can think of. Just when I thought I was done touring the store, there was more! Amazing customer service from Sean and Sally! Prices are fair and the selection is endless! I found 5 vintage 1973 Pepsi Looney Toons cups! It was nostalgic and cute! Lots of knick knacks and many can be categorized as vintage (like the vinyl records that most people born after the year 2000 might not know that these exist) Affordability is questionable but it depends on what you're looking for. It's not priced like the 99 cent store, which no longer exist, of course. Great find either way. I love browsing. Street parking available & there's a public parking structure next block over.
