I saw an interesting Polish liquor, took a photo to look up later and was told I was making him nervous because I did not need any help. Then he told me to leave. Not sure what's the deal with this place but won't be returning. Was looking for ingredients to make a grog but lucky for me there are plenty of liquor stores around that offer much better service Edit: The selection is laughable. The store is large like a total wine but the shelves are empty as well as the parking lot. Hopefully the poor customer service runs everyone to find better as I won't beg anyone to take my money. Additionally I was officially told to leave due taking a photo and making the clerk nervous. We were greeted by two incredible bartenders Eliza and Zack and a general manager Cole that have now become close friends of ours. We established a weekly bar night routine to come in and see the regulars and these workers. I looked forward to it, and made great friends. But then the general manager wasn't there anymore and our bartenders left too, and all we had left were two amazing bartenders Ed and Sam. They have now been carrying the burden of the lack of staff and they are the only reason we have kept coming back at all. They try so hard to make everyone comfortable and happy, and are two truly wonderful people. But it all went downhill from there. We took a gamble the other night and went in on a day we never do, and they recently hired a new bartender Dani, who greeted us with low energy and a somber tone. That's fine, not everyone loves their job, but within 5 minutes of meeting us, she told my partner she didn't like the song playing in the bar because it mentioned a transgender person in a relationship (and no she did not say it like that, she said derogatory offensive outdated terms) out of the blue! We are a queer couple! We did not invite, initiate, or try to have any type of conversation like this and she just says that to them? Spreading hate to a stranger unprompted? I was shocked and disgusted. Ed and Sam are two wonderful, welcoming bartenders that have been nothing but kind to us, but this is not the William Oliver's I know. They are willing to help you with whatever needs you have. The prices seem to be in reasonable ranges too. I did a little comparison of Knob Creek which I looked at in a store in Highlands Ranch just yesterday. The same expression of Knob is about $4 cheaper here. That is the beauty of those stores that are located 30 miles away from the central Denver. The aisles are so wide. This is a plus. You are at ease with pushing your cart not bumping into other shoppers. The floors are also so clean; absolutely spotless. The parking space is large as well. You'll never not see an open spot.
