1 STAR -- Extremely Disappointing and Stressful Experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with ERES in Fairfield. The process was slow, frustrating, and unnecessarily expensive. I have intentionally went into the office and bring my documents to verify what needed to waive the verification fees and ask the academic insitutions to provide what are missing. I provided extensive documentation and evidence to verify everything requested, yet I was still asked to pay additional verification fees and go through more verification. All together I spent more than $700 plus gas, mileages, documents, mailing fees everything all together and delivery in person. Yet they still picking on and put on more charge and still not able to delivery! What made this experience especially upsetting is how long the process took. Despite my efforts to provide everything promptly, the delays continued for what felt like forever. Unfortunately, the delay had a serious real-life consequence: I ultimately lost a job offer because the verification process was not completed in time. This was not just an inconvenience--it directly affected my employment opportunity and caused significant financial and emotional stress. I understand that background and employment verification may take time, but there should be reasonable communication, efficiency, and consideration for the people whose careers are directly affected by these delays. I would not recommend ERES based on my experience. If your potential job has a strict deadline, be prepared for the possibility that you may be waiting on ERES for a very long time.

She said to me that she ran out of supplies and the dream enrichment office wasn't dropping off a replenishment of supplies for her, so she was just using scrap paper and pencils for multiple weeks. I recommended this after school program to my brother and sister-in-law for early engineers because my nephew loves legos and they were desperate looking for after school programs. I'm going to tell them to not send my nephew to this class because there are other programs out there. Please don't waste your money. Everything seems disorganized and very last minute. It was fairly simple. Yes, it's the building on the right as you face the water fountain. It literally says Building 1 on it, cant miss it. Once you go in, there's the elevator and you take it up to the 2nd floor. Walk down the hall and you'll reach room 215. The restrooms are somewhere in-between the elevator and the room. I was actually early to my appointment but they let me start so I didn't have to wait. I checked in at front desk and was instructed to remove my rings, bracelet, watch, and hairclip. I had to turn off all my devices and put everything into a locker. The only thing you need out is your ID. They also scan your palm and take a photo of you. Then they ask you to pat yourself down and show nothing is in your pockets. They offered earplugs and a laminated scratch paper and marker to write on. Each test station had noise canceling headphones as well. Everything is sanitized. The testing room had about 15 or so stations. The temperature in here was good, not hot, not cold. I chose to use the earplugs and they worked well with minimizing sound distractions. What was distracting though, was the vibrations of the floor whenever people walked across!! Once I finished the exam, the result was printed on paper and handed to me at the front desk.

However, she was amazing during my labor! She helped us understand the different options that were being offered to us while in active labor, and was an absolute rockstar during my delivery. I was SO thankful to have her there in the room. She alongside the midwife were my biggest cheerleaders and made me feel at ease and like I could do it. She was coaching me and making sure both myself and my partner were taken care of. She showed him how he could best support me, which meant so much. She made some house visits during postpartum which was fabulous. It was great to have her kind support during such a gentle transitional time.

Rafeal was the single worst part of my 48+ hour induction and unplanned c-section delivery. I'll…read moregive the high-level summary, which should be enough to dissuade anyone from hiring her. My husband and I offered a break to Rafeal about 5 hours after she arrived and after I received an epidural and she NEVER RETURNED. During this break it became increasingly likely that I would need a c-section, and when we requested Rafeal come to support us through it, she replied that was not a service she offered. We were left with no support for a traumatic and unexpected turn of events. I spent the moments before surgery frantically begging her to return to the hospital. By the time she agreed, the relationship had soured so much we didn't want her to be with us and we told her to forget it. Beyond our experience at the hospital, which should be sufficient enough to render her unqualified as a doula, she TEXTED me at 31 weeks to tell me she would be out of the state from weeks 38 to 40+3 of my pregnancy. This is completely manipulative and misleading as we had a signed contract for her personal services for weeks 38-42. She offered $200 refund and a backup doula for her unavailability. We should have terminated the relationship at this point as she had proven herself untrustworthy and her communication style unprofessional. I've never written a negative review before as I believe in handling unsatisfactory services directly with the provider. However, Rafeal has been unwilling to offer a partial refund or even an apology ("I'm sorry your birth was not what you needed it to be" is not an apology for her behavior). Instead, she asked if she could use my experience to further her training and sent me prayers and blessings. I'm highly confident any other doula, or no doula at all, would be better then Rafeal. I'm attaching photos of our text conversation because I wouldn't be surprised if Rafeal accuses me of misrepresenting the events of my experience with her. No one should have to "strongly ask" their doula to return to the hospital for delivery, regardless of delivery method.
