My wife and I were craving BBQ and decided to give this place a try. We also loved having the opportunity to support a black owned business. This was hands down one of the best take out meals of our foodie lives. There is some sort of magic in their kitchen. Everything was outstanding. The best mac & cheese I have had in a long time. Well first, my uncle's name is Andre... so I was immediately sold. This place is super quaint, warm, and the staff are so kind and friendly! You pay after you've been served and have eaten, so that's a bit different, but nothing too crazy! Our ribs were great, a little dryer than expected, but flavorful and good. Yo Unc, I tried. I promise you man, I tried. From left to right I have four beef ribs, half a slab of baby back ribs with mac-n-cheese and collards, another side of mac-n-cheese and bbq beans, and the seven fried chicken wing appetizer. The only thing wrong was that I didn't get napkins or utensils. (Had to take a star) The beef ribs were very good and meaty. The baby backs had a great flavor and cooked perfectly. The wings were good and fried perfect. Still crisp but not dry at all. The greens were a little bland but the mac-n-cheese was very good and the beans were awesome. Uncle Andres saved my life around 8pm 10/19/15. It was a long day at work. I needed barbeque. Not the fancy ish. Some good ole fashion porch barbeque. Some family reunion barbeque. Some of Uncle Andres ribs or Aunt Melba's. I definitely didn't want any "southern style" no salt barbeque. He deliverrrrrrrreeeeed. Well, not really. I picked up. I found this spot on yelp because IM TIRED OF COOKING! And I really wanted bbq. We ordered two half chicken meals, One fried, one bbq. Both with Mac n cheese, I had potato salad and my roommate had baked beans. I really wanted greens but they didn't have any that day and my roommate wanted yams but we were told they aren't included in the meal options so we got an order to share. Outside of all of that the food was pretty good! Especially for bbq in the valley. The Mac n cheese was bomb, creamy and cheesy. The sweet potatoes were really good although I prefer mine with a little extra syrup and my potato salad was not traditional but really tasty. The bbq chicken had good smoke flavor and the sauce was yummy and the breast was still moist. Fried chicken was equally as tasty! I also got a small peach cobbler which had good flavor but was way too sweet for me, and I LOVE sweets. I'd definitely order again. I hope next time they have greens read more

He immediately snaps back with some bullsh*t as if he don't have a lunch special menu hanging big af in the restaurant. One day it's "lunch is over at 1:30" the next time it's "we not taking lunch orders and no orders other than catering," so DONT MENTION LUNCH SPECIALS! I sent my mom to the restaurant because my mom really enjoyed the food that my boss bought for my sister's funeral. Food is delicious and reasonable. However, the service is nasty and disrespectful. The website says it opens at 11, they open at 12. One of the employees were loud and using profanity. My mom is old school and asked if he could not cuss in front of the ladies, he said he would then cuss in Spanish. The other worker, suggested that mom go to the car and wait there. No wait time as others have mentioned in other reviews. I ordered the shredded chicken sandwich, which came with seasoned fries. The total was about $8-$9. I should have known that the sandwich would consist of bread, chicken, and BBQ sauce. Nevertheless, the chicken itself was juicy and the BBQ sauce was tangy with a little bit of sweetness.
