The staff is very friendly, the food on the other hand is not bbq. My brisket sandwich tasted like crockpot pulled pork with a bunch of bbq sauce. The bread used also denigrated in seconds. Worst thing food was cold upon delivery. Some of the worse bbq I've ever tried

Loaded cowboy fries

Loaded cowboy fries were very good but a bit too much for me. The shredded cheese, cheese sauce, bbq sauce AND aioli was wild. I felt the cheese sauce wasn't necessary since there was already real cheese. I would have preferred just having extra shredded cheese and have it melted more than the cheese sauce. But I split it with my friend and she loved the cheese sauce! It was $18 then an additional $5 for the meat which I find to be over priced for some loaded fries. I've had larger portions for cheaper. It was a quick turn around time and the service was nice. The biscuit fried Oreos had to be one of the best fried Oreos I've ever had! The fruity pebbles and powdered sugar was just right and not too much. I'd like to try their downtown dog but that also seemed overpriced to me.

This food truck exceeded my expectations with its mouthwatering selection of food options. The tenderness of the pulled pork on the loaded fries we order was flavorful showcasing the chef's expertise. The service was impeccable, and they also offered me a free side of macaroni and cheese, since they had an extra one which was extra extraordinary. The location of this food truck was placed perfectly, which was in front of a brewery in Culver City.

Downtown Dog

Uncle Al's BBQ is my favorite food truck in LA. I've had food from Al's a couple times, and everything has been fantastic. I want to try the whole menu. I've had the Motha' Cluckers (wings), the Cowboy Fries, the Downtown Dog, and the Three Little Piggies (pulled pork sliders), and each item has been amazing. The food is flavorful, savory, sweet, and so tasty. I highly recommend trying Uncle Al's BBQ. You won't be disappointed.

Breaded wings and potato wedges

Had the wedges and breaded wings from This bbq truck and let me say nothing about this truck is truly bbq. No bbq ribs? ......really? I'm sorry you can call your self a bbq truck with no bbq ribs available lol Nothing was sizzling from inside the food truck So at this point I was a little hesitant to order but I'm already here so why not. The breaded wings were good portion size but you can taste the oil from the fryer typically means it was time for a change of oil. The bbq sauce was def store bought. The hot sauce was packaged hot sauce. Not impressed thus far. The wedges were decent but how can you get that wrong. I give it one star because after I finished eating the wings my stomach started to turn and felt very nauseas and sick . Plus like I said nothing bbq about the truck unless you like pulled pork. The staff was friendly and good customer service. Will def not recommend and I would say this truck should have management quality control. This truck Should just be called uncle Al's food truck.

Truffle Mac and cheese
Jenny R.

Went to the food street cinema during the holiday event and uncle Al's BBQ was there and I decide to get the truffle Mac and cheese and the mother clucker wings. The wings were tasty enough but wasn't anything special. The mac and cheese was disappointing, it was like having a very creamy version of Kraft Mac and cheese with truffle oil mixed into it and it was extremely too salty for my taste. Unfortunately, nothing made my palate or my tummy dance.

Excellent all across the board. Me and my wife were looking to get out of the house on a Friday night, but wanted to keep things fairly casual. We remembered that the Grub Fest Food Trucks were going on Friday nights in Granada Hills, so we decided to make a trip down here. They had some excellent trucks out this round, and this was one of them. What I can say right off the bat is their attention to detail and the quality of their ingredients is too notch. I ordered the pork sliders and the baked beans. When picking up my order, they were nice enough to give me a order of the truffle mac and cheese on the house! Nice touch! I really enjoyed my sliders. Definitely packed with flavor. The baked beans were the standout dish for me; great texture, taste, and really filling. I liked the flavor of the mac & cheese, but it was definitely more on the creamier side. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food tonight! Great food and I absolutely recommend them.

So normally I like to post food pictures with my reviews but this place was sooooo good and I was so hungry that I gobbled up my brisket tacos and totally forgot about my Yelp review! I'll have to repost pix when I eat from this truck again! The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The chipotle sauce and some other sauce was amazing and mixed so well with the flour tortillas and queso fresco. I could have easily eaten 5 of these tacos but thank God the order comes with just 3 and they are a good size. The hubster ordered the spiced wedges and big bad wolf sandwich which is the brisket sandwich. He really liked it and it looked so good I'll have to order it for myself next time. Great portion of fries that the hubster didn't even complain about me stealing some It took a little while to get our order but it was busy and so totally worth the wait! I am so glad my community brought them over for our food truck night event! Can't wait to try other stuff from the menu soon!

LEGITIMATELY IF I COULD GIVE 100 stars i would. Always great service, super caring and respectful. The food is amazing, a lot of the flavors and orders offered are unique and original. Uncle also has its own vibe, unmatched by any other food trucks ive been to. Honestly if you haven't tried it youre missing out and if you have im sure you want more

Mac and cheese very drippy lol. Noodles, and tasty cheese sauce topped with bread crumbs. It was edible.

If you haven't tried Smosh Town Burgers yet, you're seriously missing out. This is one of those…read morespots that sneaks up on you and then suddenly becomes your go-to burger fix. They set up at night right in front of the pharmacy on California and Glendale Ave, where the old Toasted Bun used to be. Easy to find, hard to forget. My go-tos: O's Way Smashed Wagyu patties with grilled onions, cheese, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. Classic, done right. O No Way! Same base, but with jalapeños and their SMOSH sauce. This one's got a little attitude. And yeah... they've got tater tots. Not an afterthought either, they hit the spot. And the guys working there? Top notch. Friendly, fast, and they clearly take pride in what they're putting out. I've had a lot of smash burgers around LA. This one's at the top of my list right now.

I don't usually say this lightly, but this place seriously has the best smash burgers in town…read more First time I tried it, I knew right away I wasn't going to be going anywhere else. The patties are perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor every single time. What really makes it stand out though, is the consistency and the people. The quality is always on point! Ingredients are always fresh, perfectly cooked, and you can tell they actually care about what they're serving. On top of that, everyone who works there is genuinely kind and welcoming, which just makes the whole experience that much better. One visit and you'll understand why it's so hard to go anywhere else after.
