Ondo Bakery & Cafe - Strawberry New York roll (Oreo variety in back)

First, their lamination is ON POINT. Then add the Korean flavors and flair to it? Chef's kiss. So Injeolmi is basically like a mochi rice cake dessert with roasted soy bean powder on it. So they did their take on it by dusting the exterior with the roasted soy bean powder and putting the rice cake part INSIDE. You basically have to eat this day-of though - rice flour goodies are never that great re-heated. *trompe de l'oeil desserts - they have various ones that look like fruit BUT my favorite cheesecake that looks like a piece of cheese on a cheese board ha. Love the whimsy. *the sleeping bear cakes! I think this is more of a Valentine's Day special - I'm not sure if it's year-around but it's so cute and the chocolate mousse is so luscious with the perfect ratio of raspberry. *Dubai chocolate mochi - this is probably my favorite take on this viral trend. It's a really fascinating texture with the soft rice cake/mochi meeting the crunchy kataifi. I'm into though!

We decided to order on the kiosk because the line was pretty long. They offer quite a bit of seating on the other side of the pastries and can get loud, if it's packed. So if you're wanting to study, make sure to take a pair of earplugs. We got an iced black sesame latte and a peanut butter Macchiato. Both drinks were okay. The flavors of both drinks weren't as strong but okay. I grabbed a salt bread and a Dubai mochi. Salt bread was okay. The mochi was delicious. If you are a fan of Dubai chocolate, you'll love this! We'll definitely be back to try more pastries and drinks!

I might actually buy coffee and tea as holiday gifts for my coworkers. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is because the women's bathroom was not clean, customer service can be improved, and some music can really make the cafe more inviting. I made coupe of orders, one included dessert. I was handed the cake with no fork, had to ask for one. Wasn't given napkins and didn't bother asking. I might sound petty, but honestly the product can be great. However, customer service is what brings customers back. There needs to be proper training. If I'm going to spend money and do everything myself and ask for everything that should be the basic/ standard, then I might as well make my coffee at home. It terms of music, I think it would amplify the space. When I stopped by the cafe, I was the only one in the main space and it was dead silent and all I can hear is the buzzing of the cooler that had the water and pop/ drinks. Some light music in the background would've blocked that noise. I only share this because I would love to see this business thrive.

I enjoyed a rich pour over accompanied by a delicious Pistachio Basbousa Cake. Other members of our party enjoyed their Biscoff Latte and White Mocha. As an added treat we ordered a Carmel Milk Cake. We both got the Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso and loved them! I could definitely taste the brown sugar and appreciated the right amount of ice and smooth espresso. It wasn't too strong and had the perfect sweet flavor. The staff was kind and our drinks came out quickly! The atmosphere was clean and there were plenty of seats if we had wanted to stay and chat or do work. I always appreciate having a variety of seating options. There are fabric benches that aren't pictured where we sat while we waited that were cozy. This elevated our hike and I will definitely be coming back!

The banana matcha latte was yummy and flavors mixed well. I just wish I didn't fully mix it because then it only tasted like matcha. The sana'a chai is good (but if you like sweeter drinks, I would add sugar). The pistachio milk cake was unique and I usually don't like cake but this looked amazing! It has a great flavor. The texture was a little too soggy. Bathroom was clean! A big plus is they give out free Quran's in English. I have some muslim friends and have been wanting to read one to understand more and am happy to finally receive one! And the cover is very pretty!
