Today was the worst and it is the last time I order here. Important to note is this place has an identity crisis. It is called a sushi place but they serve americanized Chinese food, Thai food, and pretty much any food that can be called asian. As a general rule, this means nothing on thr massive menu is truly good. I got a pickup order that was scheduled to be completed at 408. I arrived at 420 and they said 20 minutes. 445 and i got my order after seeing most of my food sit in a bag and get cold. The quickest thing to make (sushi) was the last to go in the bag. Ordered Thai green curry and got something that was most certainly not a Thai curry. There was zero coconut and the only thing that made it close to curry is the fact it had basil. I wpuld call what I got basil shrimp and vegetables. The general tsos chicken is loaded with pineapple. This is only place I know that adds fruit to general tsos chicken. The chicken was also not crispy. General tsos should effectively be orange chicken without the orange and a little spicier. The volcano roll was far too heavy on cream cheese. Overpriced and worst volcano roll I have had. If it was 8$ sure, but it was 16.50$ Their crab rangoon and sauce is good. So if you only want that, go visit. I think they will be out of business sooner than later. The pic is of their "curry"

The service is typically along the lines of just straight to the point what do you want and okay here's your order. The food however us it's downfall. I've eaten the food about 9 times in the last few years, as it was better than the other Chinese food place nearby I did a review on prior (small place). I sampled a lot from the menu over time. Here's what sticks out to me that others may want to know-the egg rolls are tasteless mass produced tasting, the won tons are thick dough and rubbery. Hard to chew, but easy and likely best to spit out and never order again (I ordered them at least 6 times hoping it would get better, but it never did). Spareribs were ok but not much meat. The dishes were all swimming for their lives drowning in sauce and oil. Way too much sauce and oil. I suggest the other choices in the area including the small place I reviewed in the past which has better food, and even the nearby Panda Buffet which is a great atmosphere and very clean looking for dining in too.

(Pre COVID review) This restaurant could be a five star with small changes that would make a huge difference. For example the crispy soup noodles and egg rolls appear and taste baked rather than fried. Not good. Wonton soup - the best wontons in the area. They are made with the thick skins and a delightful filling. The soup broth is somewhat boring. This soup would be greatly improved by adding bok choy as I did (see picture). Many dishes are missing and they need water chestnuts. Mushrooms- are awful. I think they are reconstituted and dishes would be much better with canned mushrooms. House crispy soup noodles and egg rolls appear and taste baked. Both should be fried. House duck sauce- tastes like they opened packages into a bowl. They need to get the dark duck sauce found in all decent NY Chinese restaurants. These little changes could take this restaurant over the top. Sesame Oil- I don't think they use it and this could be a reason many of the dishes fall flat. This should be a staple in any Chinese restaurant. Chow fun/Ho Fun and Mei Fun suffer here from lack of sesame oil. Queens rice noodles stick together and this is easily solved by drizzling sesame oil over the dish once cooked. Their noodles are overcooked making the dish mushy. You can pick up the entire serving on one fork. Try to make this at home. It's easy and delicious! 12 oz. fresh wide rice noodles 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 4 scallions (split in half vertically and cut into 3-inch pieces) 3 thin slices ginger 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce 2 tablespoons regular soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon sugar salt and white pepper (to taste) 4 to 6 ounces fresh mung bean sprouts Drizzle with sesame oil once cooked.
