I called Kolb in a panic and spoke to Sean. He said they were getting hammered with calls due to the heat, but would do his best to get a tech out as soon as possible. Engaging with this company is akin to willingly subjecting oneself to notoriously getting "Hamped" (overpaying because you live here). Steve brazenly alters contract terms midstream, leading to exorbitant unexpected charges. Call is company if you wish to drastically overpay for plumbing or HVAC services. Their lack of internal communication between the HVAC and plumbing divisions is appalling. Their work ethic is marred by a series of blunders, which they subsequently exploit by overcharging to rectify their own mistakes. Initial promises are deceitfully simplistic, only to be arbitrarily amended once the fifty percent deposit is paid before the work begins. Look at your proposal and agreement closely because they intentionally leave out details they previously claim will be included in the price. There is no benefit to being loyal to this company and no price break for being a long time customer. I would rather drown in my house than call this company to fix a leak.
