Took my 4Runner to get ppf on the front end. From beginning to end, Joseph was super helpful and was always quick to respond to my questions. PPF looks great (can't even tell it's there ). I highly recommend this place and will return for ceramic coating! read more

Service was impeccable here. Very respectful and very knowledgeable. We bought in a 2025 Toyota Crown Nightshade for their tinting service. We picked XPEL XR+ mainly for class leading heat rejection. Prices were reasonable for the options that we picked. Would definitely come again. They took great care of my friend's car. read more

The Ultimate Shield team was very easy to work with and kept me updated on the entire window tint, PPF, and ceramic coating process. I was fortunate to find a shop close to my office and was able to stop by and actully see the work being done as they went through the application process on not only my car but others that they had in their shop. read more

All I can say really is that I wish I had gone here from the start because initially I went to another local business to have the work done and in the end found these guys to repair the poor work that was done elsewhere and do it right. If you're looking for great customer service as well as excellent work then the truth is this is the shop! Thank you to your team and for treating my Toyota like it was a Ferrari because I'm the end it's a Ferrari to me. Great job guys. read more

Had to bring my wife's Hellcat back to Ultimate after the 2 front window tints got scratched during a warranty repair. I asked Sean and his team to look at the paint as it had some shine issues. Sean called and described the paint as possibly the worst his team had seen in a while, if not ever. he assured me that I would be pleased after their 3 step process. Pleased doesn't come close to describe as it look last amazing. There were even some small scratches that the touched up. Sean and his team knocked it out of the park. Thanks again Ultimate Shield! read more

Don't go anywhere else! Great prices, detailed work, very knowledgeable, and they washed my car! I had my windows tinted and added sun protection. It looks perfect! They offer paint protection at a reasonable price, which I am going back for. They offer a solid warranty (lifetime) and stand by their work. I waited while I had the work done and the place itself is comfortable, fun car related decor, and plentiful snacks and drinks for free. I highly recommend Ultimate Shield for window tinting and paint protection. read more

Friendly and professional place. Needed windows tinted so the sun did not blast our baby in the face. They were prompt on reaching out and very patient with us making our decision. They also helped with making sure I knew what options they had and showed me how they look and would feel with the heat coming through, depending on which ones I chose. Thought it was going to take 4 hours but only took a couple hours instead. Would definitely go back when we get another car! read more

Highly Recommend Ultimate Shield I had Ultimate Shield tint both my Tesla Model Y and Rivian, and the results are excellent. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and did a flawless job--clean edges, no bubbles, and perfect fit, even on the large glass. Heat reduction is immediately noticeable, and both cars look amazing. High-quality materials and great attention to detail. If you're looking for top-tier tinting for EVs, Ultimate Shield is the right choice. read more

Brought my Porsche 911 into Ultimate Shield for full body PPF, window tint, and ceramic coating. The experience was exceptional throughout, from initial engagement through completion and quality of project. Their customer experience is world class, and everyone was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. When I reached out for a quote they were engaging and available (answered the phone and responded to emails, unlike most others). When I visited they answered all my questions, showed examples of work, and helped me decide between alternative options for my car. They completed the car on time, and even provided regular video updates every couple days to show progress. I brought my daughter with me to the shop and she left with some candy and a toy car, so that was a winner also. The quality of the work is beautiful, excellent tint and all seems hidden on the PPF. There isn't anything I would change or improve in terms of the experience and the workmanship, if you are looking for PPF / Tint / Ceramic then I'd highly recommend this as the top choice in OC. read more

Absolutely loved everything about Ultimate Shield Vehicle Protection. Randall I Ultimate Shield was highly recommended to protect my new investment, the 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 . It was a pleasure meeting with Sean and Joseph as we went over the areas that needs to be protected. We did a walk-through the shop, and I was amazed at how clean and how organized it was. The day of applying the Xpel Paint Protection arrived. Sean sent me a texted/video message, letting me know that everything was going well and detailing the areas that would be protected. He also brought to my attention other areas that he knew needed protection as well, and I'm grateful that he pointed those out. Sean and his Ultimate Shield Team did an incredible job, meticulously applying the clear paint protection that you can barely notice it's even there. Thank you, Sean, and your Ultimate Shield Team, for your outstanding work. read more

Dog shit company who will literally spam you during work hours just to pitch you! I was on break thinking about tinting the back windows of my car and I was expecting some common sense on behalf of Joseph the sales rep in understanding people's normal work schedules. But no he had to spam me multiple times trying to get me on a call during normal work hours and on top of that lacks reading comprehension skills! Will not be doing business here. I don't need spam to convince me to do business with you all. read more

(this is an Unsolicited/Unbiased Review from my humble perspective and OCD tendencies, and based on numerous experiences with Ultimate Shield in addition to multiple other/Lesser shops over many years) This is "THE A-TEAM" of PPF and Tint - Absolutely THE BEST! In 1995, a crack commando unit of PPF and Tint Professionals (aka "Ninjas") was created by Sean H., and subsequently ULTIMATE SHIELD was formed. Since then, Ultimate Shield has provided their much needed assistance and services to all of Southern California, from the Average Joe/Enthusiast to the super car Celebrity Car Collectors (Jerry Seinfeld et al are actual customers). The void between SEAMLESS/EXQUISITE PPF/Tint Installation and AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE was finally filled via Sean's Vision for Ultimate Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Dedication to the PPF/Tinting craft. Sean is a pioneer in PPF installation/application, has taught many courses on the same, and is a PERFECTIONIST himself. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....you should hire "The A-Team" = ULTIMATE SHIELD This is my 3rd vehicle with Sean and his Ultimate Shield "A-Team" of PPF Ninjas, and once again, simply EXCEPTIONAL, precise PPF installation, and amazing customer service, from start, to finish, and BEYOND. No BS. No Up-selling. NO Nonsense. Just simply The Best. Ultimate Shield is a Family Owned/Operated Business that makes you feel like you're part of their Family, and for that, I and countless others are very grateful and very fortunate. Thank you Sean and your A-TEAM Crew, for another perfect installation and exceptional service. I cannot recommend you enough, esp in our AMG SoCal Lounge and Purist automotive groups, etc! (PS - for additional reference/review, please see my initial review of my very first PPF installation on the matte black C63 AMG 507 with Sean and Ultimate Shield from June 22, 2018) read more

Friendly, outstanding service. Quality product and installation and they go the extra mile. Ceramic window film installed. I highly recommend this business. read more

Ok first off... If you're not willing to shell out a little extra for this place, then go elsewhere. But let me tell you, it is worth every penny. First off, requested a quote on yelp and they responded promptly. They were able to schedule me in less than a week and said it'd take 6 hours to finish. The other place I called said it'd take 2-3 days to finish! I believe I texted back and forth with Joseph and he was very helpful and educating with the process. I wanted the front bumper PPF'd and was considering the grille. Joseph, who looked over my car when I brought it in, offered a discount for the grille. I couldn't say 'no.' THEN... I told him I didn't want the parts of the grille (the "eyelash" garnishes above the headlights in the picture) because they were pitted and chipped from driving the car for 6 years. Well .... When I came to pick up the car, Joseph told me they had some spare matte wrap and wrapped the grille garnesh, no charge. And the color match is perfect. Looks brand new! Honestly, I was so blown away by all that they did for me. Lastly, as a farewell gift, they gave me some quick detailer and a microfiber towel. I was actually doing some Amazon research for detailers to have in the back of my car when I get bird poop on it. The quality of the PPF wrap seems legit. I can't even tell it's there. I guess time may tell, but I honestly doubt I'll have any issues and it comes with a 10 year warranty. Only "cons" I can think of is the the entrance to the shop is a little tricky to find, BUT they send you a YouTube video explaining how to get there. The waiting room is nice and very professional looking, but it is a tad small. I'd recommend getting a ride home if you can. No points deducted for either of these minor details. This place is the real deal. Above and beyond the call of duty. I'm not going anywhere else for my PPF needs. read more

Amazing customer service from Ultimate Shield. Quality work too. I got my car tinted and full front ppf and they expertly installed it. Has some issues with the windshield tint, they fixed no problems. Sean, Joseph, and the crew are super friendly when entering the shop. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to PPF paint protection film. You can call it OCD picky. All my cars get full ppf over the last 20 years. Most were "okay." But I never felt it was as good as it could be. I have had to opportunity to compare a lot of PPF installs at cars and coffee events. It's something I do as you just stand there looking at cars in a parking lot. lol I've also visited many shops to see their work. This place was recommended to me by someone I respect very much in the automotive industry, so I decided to give them a try. My friend didn't disappoint with his recommendation. Yesterday, I dropped by to inspect the final work that was done on my car. It was truly the best install I have EVER seen. No cutting the corners 1/4" or even 1/8" (The ppf was to the corners.). No jagged edges from a dull blade. No gaps in coverage. No cheap off brand film that the installer gets extra discounts using. No opps hope the client won't notice shenanigans. No overstretched PPF which distorts the film and looks terrible in certain reflections. No weird seam lines at odd locations. Just top notch install where you can tell they took their time and didn't cut corners to save film. There is another place a couple hours away that I used that comes very close to the top tier work done by Sean at Ultimate Shield, but Sean's work is a bit better. Prices are similar. In conclusion, I'm very happy with the quality of work they did and will definitely be recommend them to all my friends. They will be my go to shop going forward. read more

Had my card wrapped (PPF Stealth), ceramic coated and front windshield tinted. Sean (owner) and Joseph were super helpful and patient during the intake process. My initial thought was to go with the matte look but Sean must have sensed I was not 100% confident with my decision so he actually placed a sample wrap on my car so I can see how the matte finish looks before I commit. I loved it and stuck with my decision to go with the satin/matte finish. You can tell by the cleanliness of the shop and the people working there that this is a business that prides itself on quality and service. I only asked about pricing from one other shop before visiting Ultimate Shield and decided this was the place I am going to entrust my car. The cost was slightly higher than the other quote I got but it's hard to compare since they use different films and I get a sense the workmanship at Ultimate Shield was far superior so I am more than happy with my decision. I wasn't sure where to go to get my new car tinted, so I went online local FB groups I'm in) to look for recommendations to work on my Tesla. I called around and got quotes, and this spot was a little more competitive with pricing and the reviews/quality of work seemed great. Amazing and quick service! Very thorough and detailed explanation and vehicle care! Highly recommend!

So quick backstory... I purchased a 2025 BMW M440i Gran Coupe a month ago and have been lagging on getting my windows tinted for the whole car. I finally decided that it had to be done today as I didn't want to deal with the California heat and my sunshade just wasn't cutting it. Enter in Joseph! I called and he picked up and he was very knowledgeable, kind and steadfast with info and pricing upfront. He even got me a better deal than what he 1st quoted me and was able to get it done today so I immediately drove over and he was the same authentic person I spoke to on the phone. Told me it would take 2 hours which I was fine with as I came on short notice so I'm awaiting the final result but I have been impressed with him and Ultimate Shield thus far! Definitely give them an opportunity and I promise you that you won't be disappointed! Thanks Joseph! read more
