I had my tint done 7 days ago and wanted to wait and observe before leaving a review and I'm very happy with the results. The installation was done professionally and the quality of the tint is excellent. It not only gives my car a sleek, upgraded look but also provides great heat and UV protection, making the interior much cooler and more comfortable. The work was completed on time it was done after a few hours with attention to detail, and the finish looks flawless with no bubbles. I also appreciate the warranty offered, which gives me peace of mind about the durability. Overall, I'm very satisfied and recommend their service. read more

Just got my Cyberbeast tinted here, and from the professionalism of their representative to the final product, Ultimate Shield did an exceptional job. I have to say their shop is one of the cleanest, nicest shops I've ever visited. I would have no hesitation referring a family member or friend over here. read more

My sisters and I got three Tesla Model Y together, and I was in charge of arranging window tinting. This shop was one of the recommended places from Tesla's email list. Even though it wasn't close to where I live, I decided to give it a try based on the good reviews here. I communicated with Joseph for a few days. After we confirmed all the quotes, he informed me there would be an extra charge for using a credit card -- I accepted that. But then he asked me to prepay an appointment fee, which was unexpected. I'm not sure if I was the only one treated this way, but I hope you don't end up having a similar experience. read more

I had all of my windows tinted today with their PRIME XR Black tint. Joseph was extremely helpful with not only the quote process, but also with explaining all that went into prepping, tinting, and aftercare for my Honda Pilot. He also gave me a great deal for protecting the door cups and edges. The owner Sean was great as well at explaining other services they offer here, but never pressured me to purchase anything. He gave me a tour of the facility and reinforced the info that Joseph had shared with me. This probably isn't normal, but they even offered to buy me lunch as they were preparing to order food for the staff... amazing customer experience! They do it right here at this family owned business, and if you're considering any type of cosmetic service for your vehicle look no further than Ultimate Shield! Ask for Joseph or Sean, they're awesome! read more

I've been coming to Sean and his team for years. The reason? His shop does exemplary work, the quality of his work is the best and he stands behind his product. I've sent family members here to have paint protection film (ppf) applied to their cars and they were extremely happy with the results. Leaving your vehicle with someone and trusting them to care for it as you do, isn't easy. Ultimate Shield won't disappoint. This morning I took "Roxanne," my new Honda CRV Hybrid in to get paint protection film (ppf) on the front bumper, headlights, front emblem, area behind the door handles and fuel filler door. The basic road protection package covers the areas that take the most abuse. Upon arrival, I met Joseph, who promptly went over the work that was to be done. Joseph went over everything in great detail and then we went into the customer waiting area where I was greeted by Sean. One of the things I like about Ultimate Shield is that the staff is so professional and friendly. They definitely take customer service very seriously. Most importantly, they pay attention to detail and will make your car look as perfect as possible. When my vehicle was finished, I went out to see it with Joseph and Sean and it put a big smile on my face. It looked awesome. I can't even see where the ppf is on the vehicle. The team went above and beyond what I expected. The result reminded me why I take my vehicles to Ultimate Shield. After reviewing the car, Joseph gave me instructions on how to care for the film and even gave me a gift bag that included some detail spray and a microfiber cloth. Ultimate Shield is the best! 5 Stars - Absolutely Perfect! Just had my brand-new 2026 Tesla Model Y fully tinted at Ultimate Shield Window Tinting in Orange and wow -- they knocked it out of the park! From the moment I walked in, the team was super friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly how to handle the latest Teslas. They walked me through all the options and helped me pick the ideal ceramic tint that gives the perfect look without messing with any of the sensors, cameras, or new tech. The installation was insanely clean -- not a single bubble, perfect cuts around every curve and sensor, and they had it done in under 2 hours. The heat rejection is unreal; my cabin stays so much cooler now, and the privacy is exactly what I wanted. My 2026 Model Y already looked sharp... now it looks straight-up menacing and premium. If you own a Tesla (or any car) in the Orange County area, do yourself a favor and go to Ultimate Shield. Best window tinting experience I've ever had, hands down. Worth every penny and then some. 10/10 will be sending all my friends here! Thank you to the whole crew -- you guys are the real deal! read more

To be honest, this shop is really ripping customers off. Their prices are way higher than the market average for the same services. For example, their full-body PPF starts at $6,500 -- and that's not even the finished job. They'll then try to upsell you their 'Signature' package for an extra $1,000, claiming it's much better. But in reality, the workmanship is no different from other reputable shops like Xtreme Edge, Dependable Guys, or PFS. The quality and warranty they offer are nothing special -- it's exactly the same as what you get elsewhere. Other shops include tail light PPF for free in their full-body package, but this place charges an extra $500 just for the tail lights on a Tesla Model Y Juniper. If you want door sills done properly, they hit you with another $300 add-on. Meanwhile, most other shops include those areas in the standard full-body package without any extra charge. Overall, their prices are ridiculously high compared to the actual service and quality you receive. It's simply not worth spending $9,000-$10,000 here when other shops can deliver the exact same quality for significantly less. I understand that no work was ultimately performed. However, my review reflects my experience as a potential customer during the consultation and estimate process--which is still a meaningful part of any service interaction. While I acknowledge the time spent explaining your process, I respectfully disagree with the implication that concerns about pricing or value are unfounded. Customers naturally compare options, and in my case, the pricing structure and itemization did not align with what I've seen from other reputable shops, including those working with premium materials such as XPEL. I also understand that every shop has its own standards and business model. That said, transparency and professionalism do not necessarily equate to perceived value from a customer's perspective--those are separate considerations. My review was not intended to generalize your quality of work, but rather to share my personal experience and impression during the decision-making process. Suggesting that such feedback is "not accurate" simply because no service was completed dismisses a legitimate part of the customer journey. Ultimately, customers will choose based on what they believe offers the best overall value--not just based on claims of process or affiliation. I stand by my experience and feedback, and I wish your team the best. read more

From my very first contact with Ultimate Shield I was met with absolute professionalism. I found all the videos they sent links to helped me make a decision before I arrived for my appointment - and they still happily went over the options. Simply put, outstanding and remarkable workmanship, product, customer service, and delivery! I am absolutely beyond words and can't explain how high a bar Ultimate Shield sets in making sure they give a new meaning to customer satisfaction. For them, I believe they've made it a new art form. Sean, Joseph, Cobin and their entire team are absolute professionals who are passionate about what they do and it definitely shows! I'm grateful for the amazing work they did on my 2024 BMW M 850i convertible. I've included before and after pictures so that you can see what an amazing job they've done. I came across them on Instagram many months ago and wish I'd known about them sooner because I had another tint shop do the work on another one of my cars, which didn't come out as nice. From the quote process online to the follow up, to the appointment setting, to drop off and being able to work remote at their shop in their client waiting area. everything was done like a class act establishment. I was blown away by the delivery process and how detailed the team is about making sure I know everything about the work they've done but also the post delivery care process. You would expect a vehicle protection company, such as theirs to charge an arm and a leg for the amount of effort they put into this process, but believe it or not their prices are very fair and equitable. I highly recommend them, and would not go anywhere else. If there is one time that Instagram served an ad that was legitimate, this has to be the only time that I've ever come across one! lol. Thank you team Ultimate Shield!! You really knocked it out of the park! Grateful for your work of perfection. You show you're the best always, IN ALL WAYS! read more

I just purchased a new 2025 Tesla X and wanted to get tint and PPF. Tesla online now has in its purchase process an option to select XPEL install, with Ultimate Shield listed as an authorized installer. Background: I am a previous 2016 Tesla X owner (first generation) and brought my car to Sean and Ultimate shield back then for full frontal PPF (bumper, hood, front fenders, side mirrors), as well as some interior stuff. He was recommended to me by work colleagues as well as by a close car-enthusiast friend. His job back then was highest quality which held up as long as I had my 2016 X... 9 years! Fast forward to 2025, the AC in my 2016 X died, and after multiple attempts at repair, I decided to get a new X. Getting tint and PPF again from Ultimate Shield was a no-brainer. Sean uses quality films, and although many places may offer the same, it all comes down to the quality of the install. The fact that Tesla will also offer their services is another testament to the quality work of Ultimate Shield. I went with XR+ tint for maximum heat rejection on all windows. I feel this is extra important in an EV as any excess energy use ultimately decreases range/time between charging. Tint and front PPF requires 2 days to get it all done. Got delivery of my car Wednesday, scheduled an appt for Thursday, and my car was ready as promised Friday evening! Joseph was super helpful and accommodating for scheduling. He answered all questions thoroughly and was able to anticipate additional questions. He provided a link to a quick video on how to get to Ultimate Shield. Also provided as many updates on progress as I requested (I tried not to pester too much). Also lots of payment options, which is much appreciated. Upon completion of the install, Joseph walked me through all aspects of the install, and pointed out areas where they noticed some things that I didn't when receiving the car. Again, the quality of their work and attention to detail is outstanding. BONUS! They added some extra PPF to parts of the car that will see use/abuse from spare PPF, AND you get an after care goodie bag (like at the dentist!). I also have a 2018 Tesla Model 3 as a commuter car, and for that I went with a cheaper option with another installer. It was an adequate job. But you get what you pay for. The edges of some of panels are lifting up, the relief cuts not as clean, even, or symmetric. But every time I washed and waxed my cars, I could see the difference in workmanship between Ultimate Shield and the other place. Nearly 10 years after Ultimate Shield did their stuff, it was still holding up well! TLDR: Ultimate Shield does highest quality work with excellent films. Their work has withstood the test of time, and for that I am a returning customer. They were recommended to me, and I would happily recommend them to anyone as well. read more
