To be honest, this shop is really ripping customers off. Their prices are way higher than the market average for the same services. For example, their full-body PPF starts at $6,500 -- and that's not even the finished job. They'll then try to upsell you their 'Signature' package for an extra $1,000, claiming it's much better. But in reality, the workmanship is no different from other reputable shops like Xtreme Edge, Dependable Guys, or PFS. The quality and warranty they offer are nothing special -- it's exactly the same as what you get elsewhere. Other shops include tail light PPF for free in their full-body package, but this place charges an extra $500 just for the tail lights on a Tesla Model Y Juniper. If you want door sills done properly, they hit you with another $300 add-on. Meanwhile, most other shops include those areas in the standard full-body package without any extra charge. Overall, their prices are ridiculously high compared to the actual service and quality you receive. It's simply not worth spending $9,000-$10,000 here when other shops can deliver the exact same quality for significantly less. I understand that no work was ultimately performed. However, my review reflects my experience as a potential customer during the consultation and estimate process--which is still a meaningful part of any service interaction. While I acknowledge the time spent explaining your process, I respectfully disagree with the implication that concerns about pricing or value are unfounded. Customers naturally compare options, and in my case, the pricing structure and itemization did not align with what I've seen from other reputable shops, including those working with premium materials such as XPEL. I also understand that every shop has its own standards and business model. That said, transparency and professionalism do not necessarily equate to perceived value from a customer's perspective--those are separate considerations. My review was not intended to generalize your quality of work, but rather to share my personal experience and impression during the decision-making process. Suggesting that such feedback is "not accurate" simply because no service was completed dismisses a legitimate part of the customer journey. Ultimately, customers will choose based on what they believe offers the best overall value--not just based on claims of process or affiliation. Joseph was extremely helpful with not only the quote process, but also with explaining all that went into prepping, tinting, and aftercare for my Honda Pilot. He also gave me a great deal for protecting the door cups and edges. The owner Sean was great as well at explaining other services they offer here, but never pressured me to purchase anything. He gave me a tour of the facility and reinforced the info that Joseph had shared with me. Brought my Porsche 911 into Ultimate Shield for full body PPF, window tint, and ceramic coating. The experience was exceptional throughout, from initial engagement through completion and quality of project. Their customer experience is world class, and everyone was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. When I reached out for a quote they were engaging and available (answered the phone and responded to emails, unlike most others). When I visited they answered all my questions, showed examples of work, and helped me decide between alternative options for my car. I've been coming to Sean and his team for years. The reason? His shop does exemplary work, the quality of his work is the best and he stands behind his product. I've sent family members here to have paint protection film (ppf) applied to their cars and they were extremely happy with the results. This morning I took "Roxanne," my new Honda CRV Hybrid in to get paint protection film (ppf) on the front bumper, headlights, front emblem, area behind the door handles and fuel filler door. The basic road protection package covers the areas that take the most abuse. Upon arrival, I met Joseph, who promptly went over the work that was to be done. Joseph went over everything in great detail and then we went into the customer waiting area where I was greeted by Sean. One of the things I like about Ultimate Shield is that the staff is so professional and friendly. They definitely take customer service very seriously. I just purchased a new 2025 Tesla X and wanted to get tint and PPF. Tesla online now has in its purchase process an option to select XPEL install, with Ultimate Shield listed as an authorized installer. Background: I am a previous 2016 Tesla X owner (first generation) and brought my car to Sean and Ultimate shield back then for full frontal PPF (bumper, hood, front fenders, side mirrors), as well as some interior stuff. He was recommended to me by work colleagues as well as by a close car-enthusiast friend. His job back then was highest quality which held up as long as I had my 2016 X... 9 years! Fast forward to 2025, the AC in my 2016 X died, and after multiple attempts at repair, I decided to get a new X. Getting tint and PPF again from Ultimate Shield was a no-brainer. Sean uses quality films, and although many places may offer the same, it all comes down to the quality of the install. The fact that Tesla will also offer their services is another testament to the quality work of Ultimate Shield. I went with XR+ tint for maximum heat rejection on all windows. I feel this is extra important in an EV as any excess energy use ultimately decreases range/time between charging. Tint and front PPF requires 2 days to get it all done. Got delivery of my car Wednesday, scheduled an appt for Thursday, and my car was ready as promised Friday evening! Joseph was super helpful and accommodating for scheduling. He answered all questions thoroughly and was able to anticipate additional questions. He provided a link to a quick video on how to get to Ultimate Shield. Also provided as many updates on progress as I requested (I tried not to pester too much). Also lots of payment options, which is much appreciated. Upon completion of the install, Joseph walked me through all aspects of the install, and pointed out areas where they noticed some things that I didn't when receiving the car. Again, the quality of their work and attention to detail is outstanding. BONUS! They added some extra PPF to parts of the car that will see use/abuse from spare PPF, AND you get an after care goodie bag (like at the dentist!). I also have a 2018 Tesla Model 3 as a commuter car, and for that I went with a cheaper option with another installer. It was an adequate job. But you get what you pay for. The edges of some of panels are lifting up, the relief cuts not as clean, even, or symmetric. But every time I washed and waxed my cars, I could see the difference in workmanship between Ultimate Shield and the other place. Nearly 10 years after Ultimate Shield did their stuff, it was still holding up well! TLDR: Ultimate Shield does highest quality work with excellent films. Their work has withstood the test of time, and for that I am a returning customer. They were recommended to me, and I would happily recommend them to anyone as well. read more
