Over the past 3 weeks, numerous messages to their manager have been unanswered. No reimbursement for the treatment that killed our yard, some of sod layed didn't survive, and we were still charged for mowing despite the lack of grass for the remaining months. We also were not reimbursed for the irrigation costs to try and return our yard. Fortunately for us, we have ring cameras that show everything and this company will need to "make this right" even if we need to go down the legal route. These types of incidents should not be handled this way and we feel current customers or prospects should be aware of this. I'm even including a picture of the fence that they broke (we ended up fixing the fence ourselves).

They took down our Christmas lights and we have glass from broken bulbs all over our driveway and front porch. Not happy and they need to clean this up as we have grandkids that play there. Most frustrating is we can't reach anyone . Update: we finally reached them and they came right out and cleaned it up with a shop vac. They made it right and I appreciate that.

Rain King installed my sprinkler system so badly that after a few years underground pipes have…read moreburst. I had Stone Cross landscape investigate the problem. Apparently, Rain King used too much glue on the pipe, which made it brittle and burst. Furthermore, Rain King installers were so lazy they put my sprinkler valve box in the middle of my back yard. This looks like crap and the valve box is in the flow of natural rain water to run through, so the box gets filled easily on rainy days. Rain King refused to move the valve box after installation, because it would cost them too much money. Is this a really bad company and there should be a negative star rating for them.

Three times this year this has happened and only once did receive a supervisors feedback which was just telling what I already told them. My yard was not treated. How about doing the job right the 1st TIME so you dont need to send someone back to tell what I already know. We have 3 cameras so if you treat my yard I will see it on the camera! All the bids were about the same from 3 reputable groups. I liked Jack, who I believe is the owner, personally bid the job. He was super upfront, matter of fact and professional. Timely communication. I'll update review post work but so far I was impressed. *Update, landscaping job has finished. The work was done earlier then projected. It was a lot more work than I realized to get this done. They did a great job. The pavers look amazing! We did a last minute add to the project which turned out amazing. I am very happy with the work and result. Jack was thorough and great with communication throughout. I think among everyone I've worked with in this project, JK communication was at or near the top which is huge. Jack was also flexible with deducting costs for a few minor issues that were debatable was far as who would be responsible for payment. I also appreciated this. I would highly recommend Outdoors by JK, and I am now using them for lawn treatments as well.
