I wish I could review the service but this establishment cancelled my appointment without even letting me know . I called the salon to let them know I was running 5 mins late they told me they cancelled the appointment the day before ( unknown to me) but the lady on the phone instructed me to come anyway. Sat In the salon ( no receptionist) for 5 mins called the number again. The lady once again told me that she had notified the salon I was coming. Then someone popped out and rudely asked what Time I was rescheduling for. WHAT? Why would I drive to the establishment to reschedule. I found this lash place on Groupon and purchased the Queen Bee look (150 lashes per eye) for $105. This was my second time getting a full set of lashes done and I was not expecting much since my last lash appointment at Beautiful Skin and Nails (see my review) was not great. Man was I in for a great surprise! This place is absolutely AMAZING!! When I arrived there were two chairs in the waiting room and it took a while for anyone to come out so at first I wondered if I was at the right area but within about 5 minutes, a very nice lady wearing a white clinical jacket came out to greet me and handed me a thick packet to fill out. The packet covered warnings on side effects, had questions to weed out people who were not good candidates for eyelash extensions etc. It also included several questions regarding what kind of look you were trying to achieve, how dramatic you wanted the length and curl of the lash, and suggestions on what would look better with different eye shapes and sizes. I also appreciated the section on pros and cons using mink, human hair or synthetic lashes. Although it was a lot of paperwork to go through and fill out, I feel it was instrumental in helping achieve the look I was aiming for and eliminated any disappointments or unhappiness with the extensions. I believe my technician's name was Bogara. The lash application was done in a private room and was relaxing. It took about an hour and thirty minutes to complete the application but the look was absolutely amazing. I had no complaints. It was truly everything I was looking for in the length, curl and feel. I also appreciated the written after-care instructions I received as it is sometimes hard to remember all the do's and dont's when verbal instructions are given. My tech was very nice and extremely professional. It is now 3 weeks later and my eyes still look great! I'd say 60% of my lashes are still there and the curl is still good. I am setting up an appointment this week for a fill. I can't say enough how happy I am with Ultimate Lash and Brow! Thank you for caring for your clients the way you do :) read more

I purchased a Groupon for $40 for the Mascara look. 55 lashes per eye is just not enough to look good. I still had to put mascara on. So in that respect, it wasn't a good deal or a good first experience. The description was misleading. I definitely recommend getting at least the Petite Look. I then went back and got semi-permanent mascara put on my lower lashes. Again, it was nowhere near what they described. It looked like I put mascara on 2 days ago, slept in it and this was all that was left. Maybe the third time's the charm? Just got a full Petite set and it looks natural. Before buying this lash extension deal I did some research on some others and it was clear just from my research that this place is special. So I bought a Living Social Deal and purchased the "Queen Bee" (150 lashes each eye), I also had my bottom lashes done as well. I went to their new location on Hayden, yes there was some paperwork to fill out. The experience was amazing. Erica is the best, explains everything but in the end I told her the look I was going for and I put myself in her hands. I am hooked, they look so NATURAL and yes yes I do not need to wear mascara. She started with shorter lashes to build a better base and then the longer lashes. The place was so clean and Erica was most concerned about my comfort. I have already booked my first fill appointment. If you go any place else you will not be satisfied. Easy online scheduling and they send you so many reminders about your up coming appt. Awful, awful, awful!! Customer service is at its worst, technician "Boo" lacks personal skills! Story is, I originally got awful brows done in their San Diego office, technician was sweet but skills where not there at all, I walked out of there & 10min later hairs where falling off, shape was horrible, I looked like I had stickers smacked on my forehead! When I went back to Scottsdale office to get problem resolved, since I am originally from AZ, I waited for Tech for 40min, & she still didn't show up by the time I had to leave. I give them a second chance to reschedule and now I was late 20min, when I get there Boo, not even in a sympathetic tone, just says your late & minor doing you.. You have to come back.. Or it's either that or go back to San Diego & get problem fixed out there, wiping her hands clean of all problems. Rude, snappy & in a under meaning tone, just said here call this number for customer service & get your money back!! Wait for your check in the mail .. Wow! It's safe to say I will not only not go back because of lack of customer service, but their techs lack experience. Big disappointment. Let me start by saying I have been getting lash extensions since 2009. I really wanted to like this place - it was convenient and promising. Nice interior, clean and professional. My tech was professional and knew what she was doing. With lash extensions, the product used is as important as the application process and unfortunately, the products this company uses are inferior. A full set and the lashes started shedding day 2. By the end of the first week, they were completely gone. I kept my fill appointment for the second week and explained to the tech that they had all fallen out. She agreed to try a different glue but I was still charged the full amount for the fill. Same result. By the end of the first week, they were gone. I cancelled my third appointment. As I said, I've been getting lashes since 2009 and I have found a great place where I am getting lashes that look great and stay for the 2 weeks as they should. So this place can't blame their product failure on me. Ultimate lash and brow needs to seriously review their product and make some changes or they won't survive. read more

Ultimate Lash & Brow - Queen B look - Eyelash Service Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I have been coming here for the past six months with decent results. I started last November 11th with a Groupon. I've had lash extensions before, and these were not the best, but not the worst, and all the girls are nice, so I have been coming back for a fill every three weeks on Wednesdays. The reason I came on Wednesdays is because the salon did a promotion on Wednesdays (called Wacky Wednesday), where you could get a fill of 75 eyelashes per eye for $75. Coming on Wednesdays saved me about $15 per appointment. I'm down with that. When I texted to make my next appointmentearlier this month, I was told that the salon was no longer doing the Wednesday deal. My choices were to now pay $90 for the same lash amount for which I had been paying $75, or $99 for the same amount of lashes per eye, plus bottom lid lashes. I have no interest in bottom lashes. The other option was to beccome a "member" and be able to retain the 75 lashes per eye for $75 price, however, this would require a monthly autodraft from my bank account and a 12-month committment. My issue with that arrangement is that I am going to be gone the whole summer, so I don't want to spend $225 for a product/service that I don't receive for three months. I understand that businesses have to take price increases from time to time, but I think that 20%, all at once, with no notice, is a bit excessive. I found a new place that I think I am going to like better. Had the install done a week ago and I still have not lost one lash in seven days. Their glue must be outstanding. The new place is going to fill me every three weeks, on whatever day I want to come in, for $75 -- just like Ultimate used to do, but I can choose my day now. Ahhh, much better and closer -- and the adhesive appears to be much stronger. read more

The first time I came to the Scottsdale, Arizona location with a Groupon for full upper Eyelash Extensions I had a pleasant experience, however, my second visit was TERRIBLE! After my first set of lash extensions, I saw that they had Semi-Permanent Mascara, which I got very excited about because I already have pretty long and thick lashes, but they are very blonde and unnoticeable. I booked my appointment, went in and the technician began doing the treatment. After about an hour of trying over and over, the mascara turning my eyelashes ashy-white, and my eyes getting puffy, red, and sore from being messed with, the technician decided there was something wrong with their product and she said she had to stop. Her next appointment was there and she didn't have time to do anything else for me that day, so she wanted to reschedule for Lash Extensions instead, which she said would be free. I decided this was ok, although I wanted my eyelashes to be done for a trip I was taking the next day. Nevertheless, she put a three month time limit on when I could come in for my lash extensions, which didn't give me a huge window of time since I travel for work a lot. LONG STORY SHORT: I wasted my time driving a half an hour and taking work off to beautify myself at Ultimate Lash and Brow, only to be disappointed by a product that doesn't work and mediocre customer service to make up for it. read more

Used my groupon today for the mascara look with Japanese synthetic 55 lashes each eye. I usually wear false lashes but I love my first time lash extensions!! I have been to ULB three times now and I am so impressed with the service they provide. I was a little concerned since my last fill had fallen out rather quickly but I explained this when I came in and not only did they take the time to understand my concern, they also made it right. Boo was amazing! She let me know that if I ever had any concerns about my lashes or the service to call right away and that they would do what was needed to get it fixed. She took the time to listen to me and walk me through a possible cause. I had my eyelashes done a few years ago, and loved them. They were a bit too long, but they lasted well over two months and were surprisingly were very low maintenance. The woman who did it just said not to be rough with them, to not use mascara, and to use oil free remover. I wanted eyelash extensions again for a trip I was taking on a Friday. The Sunday before my trip, I went to this location for a petite set. I was given a packet of materials, and part of it said to get your lashes done at least a few days before an event. Lucky me, I thought, because I was going about 4 days before leaving. I figured my lashes would last for at least a few weeks and then I'd have to get a touch up to just fill in empty spots. Boy, was I wrong. First of all, the woman who worked on my eyes must not have washed her hands. I could smell a strong peanut butter smell, and those little latex finger things they use didn't help. Second, my lashes lasted for less than a week and a half, despite me following their instructions to the letter. I didn't wear any eye makeup for several days before, I didn't wash my eyes the day I got them and for a couple of days after, and I barely wore any eye makeup at all and definitely did not use mascara. When I did wear eye makeup, I used makeup remover that was oil free and meant for lash extensions. I was on vacation but didn't swim or submerge my head. When I took a shower, I kept my face out of the water at all times. Even with me being extremely careful, every time I blinked another lash would fall off. By the end of the week they were 90% gone. I was extremely disappointed with the lashes. I am also pretty suspicious of the fact that they push you to get an annual membership so you can get a refill once month. Anyway, I'm glad I got a Groupon for this because I would have been even more mad if I had paid full price ($250). Never coming here again. read more

I purchased a groupon for $69 for the Noticeable and edgy lashes which is 75-90 extensions per eye. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out some paperwork. Allison was my tech and she brought me right back after I was finished. We talked about what I was looking for and also gave I her opinion on what she thought would look best for my eye shape and natural lashes. She also gave me so tips on skincare as I was explaining to her that I wanted to get lashes because I have been trying to go completely make up free. We began the service and she cleaned my lashes and placed the pad underneath. The service was great. I didn't feel any pain or anything, just her sorting my lashes which didn't hurt a bit. The process took about an hour. It was quick and painless. Honestly the worst part for me was having to lay still with my eye shut for an hour. Had my very first experience with eyelash extensions here in December 2013. Had a pleasant experience with them being placed, and they looked great but within 2 weeks every single lash had fallen off. Not that my lashes fell out, but the glue did not hold at all. I was extremely diligent about following the instructions. Now after having gone to two other places for eyelash extensions and not having an issue at either one (couldn't get the lashes off if I tried) I know that it's not me, it's the inferior glue that they use. read more

I bought a groupon and used it right away. Scheduling an appointment was very easy. When I went, I guess they had just relocated their office? So it was very hard for me to find as there was no signs up or anything. The front desk people were very nice & the owner was a sweetheart as well. The lady who did my lashes was nice as well. She kept the whole appointment conversational which I enjoyed because it was a fairly long appointment and it kept me entertained. The only reason why I gave this a three star is because my lashes did not last two days :/ I followed all the instructions given to me. Did not wear make up for 48 hours, did not use anything I wasn't suppose to. After the recommended time to wait befor getting them wet...I washed my face and one by one my lashes were falling off. It didn't even last a week for my family party I had coming up. I was extremely bummed as I paid $60 or so on this groupon. Not sure if it was the application or products used to apply them...but I can assume you 100% I followed the aftercare instructions as I was really trying to get then to last until the family gathering...but it didn't :( read more

I must applaud this business all the way. If you show up to your appt ON TIME (like you should), you walk out looking and feeling like a million bucks. All technicians are very professional and I send all my clients here for their specific services. I run a business where being on time matters. I read a recent review in which a client stated they walked in for their appointment 20 mins late? I was actually there when she walked in and it was 30 mins late, but she still insisted on having her appointment and threatened to yelp her. Because you ran late does not make it fair to run into someone else's appointment time for when they show up on time. Sorry. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.
