There is NO pricing info about it on their website, just avague special. 5 sessions for a set price right now, nothing else. First the girl could barely look up, and when I asked her about info that I could take with me, she said we don't have anything like that, but we have this sheet. I said but can I take it with me? Uhm...no, but you are welcome to take a picture of it with your phone. I said no thanks! I'll just go back to my regular salon, that DOES have printed hand outs right on the desk! And SHE smirked and said OKAY! I will say mine was the only car in the parking lot and they didn't have anyone even IN the salon tanning! This is poor customer service when you don't have a pricing guide, or business cards even, sitting on the counter top. It is sooo close to my home, but I WILL continue to drive to J&N all the way across town from me because they have fantastic counter people and wonderful customer service.

She has a very convenient location with quick coffee across the street, cute shops nearby, and nice restaurants if you want to go show off your hair after your cut! The place itself is very cute and cozy. It has a fun boutique vibe to the décor. Semi-sheer curtains separate each stylist's chair while indirect lighting creates a warm glow around the room. I arrived a few minutes early as Jamie was finishing up a client. I was offered water or tea while chilling in the waiting area up front. In the waiting area, there are also locally made jewelry items for sale alongside their hair products. Jamie took me back to her chair (on time) and was very open to hearing what I was looking to do as far as color and cut and followed the pictures I brought in to a "T." She's a great conversationalist and I felt very comfortable working with her even though I don't know her well. While my color set, she invited me to a chair with a foot massager. It was awesome! Afterwards, I returned to her chair to finish the cut. It turned out great and has been so much more manageable! I love it and have gotten lots of compliments! I booked a second appt before my sister's wedding in October and am looking forward to visiting her salon again! I highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a new stylist!

On top of that, the stylist's personal hygiene was an issue, including noticeable bad breath, which made the appointment uncomfortable. A salon visit should be a relaxing and comfortable experience, but I left feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied. I hope management addresses these concerns and provides better training and standards for future clients.

Throughout the wedding planning process, she went above and beyond with trials, referrals for skincare prep as well as extensions, ongoing communication with myself and bridesmaids/mother of the bride, and creating a seamless timeline that she executed perfectly. She even entertained me when I pulled a last minute request to do my rehearsal dinner hair and it turned out absolutely amazing. On the big day, Wiyanna was organized. She came prepared and she prepped all of us girls beforehand on how we should show up so no was guessing. This woman did the hair and makeup of 6 women the morning of my wedding with no sweat and it turned out absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend Wiyanna enough for both her wedding related services and for her hair and makeup services she offers at Shae Robert. I bounced around stylists for a couple years until I read Yelp reviews about Wiyanna at Edge. I tried her out and loved my haircut, so I've followed her to different locations since. Why I love Wiyanna: - No fugly stage after getting a haircut - I walk out happy with my hair and don't have to grow into it or muck around with it later. - No fugly stage three months after a haircut - the cut wears well over time and the layers grow out great. - Crazy easy online appointment system for booking haircuts - I can cancel/resched at 2 AM if I want. - She always offers to blow out or curl my hair after the cut - it's really cute that she lets me pick and I always get compliments. - Wiyanna's incredibly sweet and super cheery - she has some crazy fifth sense for knowing when I feel like chatting and when I feel like sitting quietly during the cut. Basically Wiyanna's the best - if you're thinking about switching stylists, give her a shot!
