Ashley movers handled my move from start to finish with professionalism, and care. Something I learned from this cross country move process is that when you are dealing with the trucking industry, there are a lot of unknowns as far as dates and transit times. So many factors lead to that, and the process is confusing and frustrating- no matter who you go with... Ashley Movers is the only company I quoted with that actually tells you that! Brokers and big companies will say literally anything to book the deal and then leave you shocked at the wait times for your stuff to get there.... I wanna give some kudos to these guys who will be up front about what you can expect - even if it's not what you want to hear. They work with you, are communicative, and very calmly explain how they can help you - even if you aren't the most calm. I moved from SoCal to South Carolina and I would highly recommend Ashley Movers LA! Thanks for all the help guys!

Worst moving experience ever!! I had a contract with American Moving Company they subcontracted…read morethese guys? Now the people who came were nice and professional and did do a good job? But they took less than 1/2 what I originally had in the contract because I took a load myself? Then they still wanted more $ and said they didn't have room? That was not a big deal because I was hauling a trailer myself that still had room.. Now here is where the problems really started is the day before the delivery day they said it will be an extra $700 for a convenience fee that they can not deliver with a semi to my address? I live in the country in Tennessee with a private road where I'm the only house ? Not like I live in the city or an apartment? The horse shippers had no problem delivering in their Semi? The guy down the street has his own semi and trailer? It was just an excuse to extort more $$!! So when I called them out on it that's when they got rude! Then I got rude back! And they are refusing to deliver my stuff? There is zero customer service!! So then I looked on FB and was horrified by all the negative reviews!! Do not use them!! Pay more and use a real company like Allied!! I went with them to save $$ but they do that so you sign! And once you sign you are screwed! And the original nice guy who came to my house said that they could not put any more in the truck because they had to get somebody else's stuff that was moving to Tennessee also and that's the same truck that was going? And if they did move it to a semi? They had no permission to do so!! And if they had the address in the beginning? Who would they add $700 later? It should have been in the contract!!

Hard pass, there are plenty of other moving companies with good reviews. Edit: Received a patronizing message from Dean when I let him know I wouldn't be using their services as the pricing was ridiculous. Long story short I moved from NY to Cali and the original moving company I hired delivered my household goods 7 days too early. They arrived and attempted to deliver the items i had nowhere to place them, after several searches on google for a moving company that offered storage I finally came across Warriors Moving. At 7pm (after business hours when everyone else was closed) we spoke on the phone and he offered to meet me near my home and pick up my belongings to store until my landlord would allow me to move in. He met with us an hour & 1/2 later to take my household goods and store them at his facility. To top it all off my pregnant wife was immediately admitted into the hospital when we first landed in Cali from New York. With all the different variables it made this move way stressful then necessary. They moved me into my storage as they knew I would be property would be in the storage for 30 days until my apartment was ready to be moved in. After moving my items out of my apartment he asked how long I would be in storage and I said a month assuming he was asking because he wanted to me hire him again to move me out of storage and into my new place. Now that I have noticed my items are gone which is about $6700 worth of designer items I now realized he wanted to know so that they could steal my items. After they moved me out I thought they would follow me to the storage instead I received a text message saying they would like to take a lunch and would like to stop the clock to do so and would let me know when they are 5 minutes away from the storage location. I had no idea and it never even crossed my mind that they would take my items on the truck with my items and go through it and steal. I am a single mom I worked so hard for everything I have and to trust a company out of the many moving companies there is so painful to know they violated me. They have made me very sad and depressed because it's hard for me already and I have now lost items that are mines. I do not like thieves they are horrible people and they took my kindness for weakness. I was kind to them the whole time they moved me and I don't appreciate what they did. I kept thanking them throughout the move to let them know I appreciated them. I would recommend you do not use this company'. When I called to let him know I noticed my valuable items were missing her laughed at me and I asked him what was funny and he literally told me this was hilarious. UNACCEPTABLE and I mean it. It was not professional nor was it ok for him to make mockery of my situation he and his team caused. He knew I wouldn't access or know my items were missing for over a month and knew I wouldn't be able to even check my storage because it was full to capacity. He had no sympathy or regret for him and his team for the stress and loss of the thousands of dollars they stole. I want you to go to another moving company as they don't deserve to be in business. My review doesn't stop here I will be heading over to the BBB to report them as well. They will not get away with this when if they think they did. I wish I could give no stars but it wouldn't allow me to post unless I gave at least one star and that's the only reason it's there. UPDATE as of 11/17/2023 - since I have posted my review I have been getting inbox messages from Dimitri reaching out me after I have told him plenty of times and blocked him from my cell phone. I told him to please stop and he keeps sending me inbox messages on yelp saying not nice things but will come under my review and act like he wants to help me locate my items when he and his coworker took my truck for 30 minutes without me being present. I since then have received an email from yelp support telling me if I am lying then they will have legal action. I will NOT take my review down this was my experience and I am standing on that. Dimitri has called my phone and has laughed in my face about the situation and it's not at all funny I would never ever write a review to just get someone in trouble I don't have any time in my life for that at all. I am a very honest nice person I was extremely nice to them and trusted them and now I'm out of my property so all I want is for Dimitri to stop reporting me to yelp, to stop inboxing me on yelp and to stop calling my cell phone. I have lost enough and I do not need anyone bullying me to take down a review that I experienced this is NOT fair and not ok.
