The care is stellar. I leave feeling better after I go for maintenance. They keep very good track of problem areas, and they have helped me avoid cavities by monitoring my weak spots I fail to floss well. They personally care for patients. Their office is beautiful and gets updated with decorations and changes to the waiting area. I am very at peace there. Each step is explained. Now I am better at maintaining my teeth and gum health. Care quality seems fine, but the office is kind of gross. Paid top dollar for a set of retainers and, called several times, was told they weren't ready. A month later, I stop by the office, and the doctor Xuan tells me she forgot to check her email, the retainer was never made. She will made it and call me to come by when ready. I've been to a lot of dentists in many different states and I've been to several different dentists in Plano. Ultimate Dental Care is simply the best. Best doctor, best support staff, always pleasant, professional, punctual, *SUPERB* dental care for myself and my family. I've never had better care anywhere in the nation. As far back as I remember I have always had bad experiences in the dentist chair. It doesn't help that I endured a few years of dental treatments while in the military. Not only has Dr. To won me over, for the first time in my 40 plus years of going to the dentist I did not encounter any pain or discomfort!! I've been going to Dr. To since 2006(?)and she's been the most honest, kind, ethical and caring dentist I've ever had in my life. Most dentists I had in my life have been questionable, not trust worthy and dishonest. I can say without any hesitation/doubt that I completely trust Dr. To 100%. When she says I need something done, she takes pictures and explain to me in layman's terms, so I can understand and why it needs to be done. She doesn't do any unnecessary work that doesn't need to be done. She's most efficient, through and multi-talented(she does almost everything!)and her staff/assistant conduct business in the same level. Even if I'm not in the best mood, she puts me in the best mood by the time I leave her office. My family and I will continue to go to Dr. To for our dental care. I had a horrible tooth emergency today and had no idea who to call since I don't have a regular dentist here. I saw how great the reviews were and called this place. Not only did they get me in IMMEDIATELY, but the entire staff has excellent bedside manner. I was a wreck and crying and they gave me a tissue and helped me breathe to calm down. They went above and beyond and took excellent care of me. The dentist came in and discussed a detailed plan of care with me and she was patient and kind going over all the instructions for the medication with me. I feel so much better and while I'm not looking forward to having a wisdom tooth pulled, I am happy I found my new dentist. read more

I have been going to Dr. Sue To for about a year and a half. I had a broken bridge that I tried to get my former dentist to fix/repair (it broke within just a few years) but refused. Dr. Sue helped me out when I had a really bad tooth infection that was in the gums. She started working on a plan. Today I went in and had a temporary crown placed and she saw that I had filling that needed to be fixed so she took care of that. She is the first dentist that I have ever had that will take the time to know you as a patient, and will definitely work with you on what the best course of treatment is for your teeth. She is also very Veteran Friendly, so if you are a Veteran and you need to find a kind, detailed, comprehensive dentist who will give you the best service, please visit Dr. Sue To at Ultimate Dental Care in Plano. She gave me a detailed list of what the next steps will be for me (i.e. crowns, bridge, etc.). I also love that she has late evening appointments that I can get after work and she is open on two Saturdays each Month. Her staff is equally friendly and caring. Went back today to get a temporary crown put on my previously done root canal. I just had to come back and update to say that I'm still very happy with my treatment over at Ultimate Dental Care. I warned them that I was having some post-nasal drip which causes me to swallow and they said they'd take their time. And sure enough, nothing was rushed. I was in the chair for about 2 hours and was listening to the conversation going on. Everything was explained and was often asked if I was ok. I'm wondering if dentists are trained to understand people who have 3 gadgets sticking out of their mouth when they talk! :) Once I started to feel some pain I let them know and got a top up on the anesthetic, so was not uncomfortable at any point. I have challenges when comes to my dental health. Need a dentist that is a cut above. My old dentist was in a retirement mode of operation. I had some issues and he was not helping. I search and found Dr. To. Dr. To saw my teeth and gum and knew it was going to be a challenge. She went to work and my teeth and gum were safe. Persistent pain went away. She is passionate about her profession and full of energy. Now, my whole family is under her care. I need a dentist that is good and sincerely concern with her patient teeth. Dr. To and all of her office staff are wonderful. Everyone is very personable and knowledgeable. I have been going to this office for a couple of years for periodontal maintenance, and each hygienist has been very gentle - no pain! Dr. To also has placed temporary crown, and now I'm going for a partial denture. I've been to some shady dentists in the Plano area over the years, but I totally trust Dr. To and her great team with my dental needs. Dr. To is very gentle and understanding. She never rushes, listens to your thoughts and concerns, and always takes the time to thoroughly explain suggested procedures and any options available.
