Service engine soon light back on less than a week of leaving the shop
Nicholas S.

Brought my car here a few years ago and the got it running at an affordable price. Just a few weeks ago I brought my car in again to have them look at the issues in regards to the alerts on my dash. They said it was a bad water pump even though I had no signs of this such as, overheating or coolant leaks. I told them I just need my car in a position where I am able to get to and from work. Charged me $1500 for a water pump replacement. Read codes were cleared to satisfy why I brought it in there initially due to a "service engine soon" light, which came back on less than a week later. Not sure how a shop with master mechanics can overlook the missing gas cap I had, or the fact the rear shocks were completely shot, or the fact that the rear brakes were in desperate need of being replaced. Honestly just seems like they put in minimal effort on diagnosing my cars issues. Charles, all I gotta say is you and I both know my car was not in a position to be driving on a daily basis, all good, won't be returning.

After having the vehicle, Charles claimed, he didn't know where the leak was coming from.

These guys legally rip me off! $3,679.00 for an oil leak they never fixed. Charles is liar and terrible business owner. I have never encountered service this bad! I got receipts to prove it. Beware of these idiots!

Charles immediately looked at it, ordered the part and before I left I had an appointment for the repair.

At a Mini mechanic claiming the same issue!RIP OFF! Went to my local mechanic and he said they were not being honest! since the owner wants to attack me, I was at this shop once before and it was a positive interaction however they said they cleared all my check, engine, lights and warning lights! Once I drove around for a few days, those lights all came back on and I purchased a scanner to figure out what was going on. Turns out that they could've easily figured out that all I needed was a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid . So after two visits to the shop, not only did they not diagnose it, but it causes me to fail my inspection so then I had to purchase a reader and then fixed it myself! and they said that my warning lights for my headlights and my tail lights were short! So I bought headlights myself and put them in and the tail light was an easy fix, but they couldn't figure this out either! This shop is a farce. Don't trust them whatsoever the owners arguing with me over their failure to actually do a good job for their customers! This car runs great and I take care of it and have every maintenance done that I can as it's driven all across the country for over 107,000 miles so for you to question my upkeep of it is offensive!!!

In 1999, when track work took over the majority of the business, Autometrics Motorsports split off as its own entity.
