We choose Gerald's as we trust them. We dropped it off at night, so they could diagnose the issue. They called us and said after inspection it was a tire issue. We went ahead with the service as they recommended it. When they called us to pick it up, I asked if they were able to confirm if the issue was resolved. If not, we could have it further diagonsed and resolve the issue. They told me they do not drive the cars after installing tires. Odd as how would they be able to confirm if the issue was resolved? Continuing to trust them, we picked it up and our car. Unfortunately for us, we have two new tires and a car that still shakes.

When I brought that car in a specifically said that I had brand new lug nuts on it and that I did want an impact wrench used on the car at all. Well, that didn't happen. I've now got some lug nuts that need replacement. When you look at the pics you'll see the damage. The fact that the paint at the top of the lug nuts has been scraped off also tells me that a shallow socket was used. A deep socket would never even come close to touching the top of the lug nut. Also, no attempt was made to keep the wheels clean. There are very big grease marks from someone's hands. That should have been wiped away. I'd use them again, but I'll also be sure to explain to them that this happened and that I wanted to be 100% sure it didn't happen again. And I'm dropping the stars from 5 to 3

At JTs', they were courteous and looked at the car. They just had too much work to be able to do the job at this time - they said all the shops in the area were really busy. But at least they talked to me and looked at the car. Then I went to Platinum. I parked my car right in front of their office window, walked in and said I needed an estimate. The receptionist said an estimate was $50 and would apply to the work. I said I wanted someone to just take a look at the car to let me know if they would even do the work and see if they would even have the time for it. I didn't want to pay $50 if they wouldn't even do the work or have the time. "The car's parked just outside, I just want someone to see if you will even do it". But she wasn't having any of that, said "We're good", essentially meaning goodbye and go. I said "Thanks for the HELP" and left. Platinum may not need me as a customer, but I don't think they need that employee as a receptionist either.

They got me on the schedule immediately and the work was finished THE SAME DAY. Replacing a clutch requires at least 6-7 hours of labor so I was not expecting them to finish it so quickly! They also noticed one of my battery cables was rusted through and offered to replace it for a reasonable price with no extra labor charge. I have never left a negative review on a business before last week on this business. I had a…read morevehicle towed to the location to have an alignment (which they could not do) and when it was picked up by a tow truck the vehicle was damaged. I provided pictures of the vehicle when it was dropped off in their parking lot as well as pictures the tow company took in their parking lot when picked up showing the damage. Today I called to follow up on this payment and was told the director was still investigating but unable to provide me with a phone number or email for the director, Lee, who is investigating.
