The store was nice. Fully stocked shelves. I was able to find everything I was looking for and more...always more. AM I RIGHT? At the end of my visit, I asked the check out lady about a vanilla forward fragrance and she pointed me toward Eilish. I went back into their perfume section and smelled the tester, it was exactly what I was asking her for. I bought a rollerball and I'm super pleased with it! I actually like it a lot. My mother was also asking about a lipgloss with glitter and she got one called hot chocolate that was sooo so pretty. I like this Ulta and will shop here again when I'm in Yulee! Ok.... I confess... I also bought all kinds of scrubs and body gels.... They were buy one get one 50 percent off!!! I love those too.... One was key lime scented, another was coconut, and another was vanilla! I visited the store on Sunday afternoon, prepared to spend a lot of money on things that I need it. Upon going up to the register the girl at the checkout counter was talking on her walkie-talkie to someone in the store so I waited. I sat there for several minutes while they were trying to figure out a problem. Well, they laughed and giggled about something not once. Did they even look up at me. once the issue was finished, I was prepared to go ahead and check out. However, the girl still sat behind the counter and waited and she did not say a thing to me. After that, I told her you didn't even acknowledge me and I walked out, and I did not get anything I needed. I found this to be extremely rude! All she needed to say was I'll be with you in a moment, but she couldn't even do that. I will never visit this Ulta again. read more

I stopped at Ulta to pick up a different foundation than I normally wear and was greeted by Anna who only works Thurs eves. She did a complete makeover in a matter of minutes and suggested a new German foundation, eyebrow pencil and lipstick that I love. This is a small but perfect sized Ulta, located in the Publix shopping plaza of Yulee. The store just opened, and I can tell already, that it will be a great store. Staff members were great, various sales offers, and a wide variety of beauty, cosmetics, and hair supplies. It has everything you would expect from Ulta, but in a bite sized package. I cam during their grand opening weekend, so a lot of the isles were packed with customers, and I really couldn't get a full picture of the store. I can't wait to come back, once all of the events end so I can truely get the full experience of this store. I already have high hopes for this location, lets hope I'm not disappointed. read more

Very disappointed with this Ulta. I'm honestly not one to complain but I have been there several time lately and have never been asked if I needed any help finding the right products or shades. Tonight I went in at 5 and was the only customer in the store. I was buying a new foundation that a friend showed me over the weekend and had no idea what shade to get. There were THREE employees standing less than 10 feet away talking amongst themselves. Never looked my way. Never even said hello. My son even tried to show them something but they didn't even look his way, so I told him not to bother, that they were busy talking to each other. I really could have used some help deciding the right shade of the $40 foundation but it seems there aren't any professionals that work there. I decided I would buy the one I thought best and if it was the wrong shade I'll just exchange it tomorrow. It's too bad. Unfortunately the closest Sephora is in Jacksonville. They have FAR better customer service and will actually help the customers. I'm giving it two stars just because they had what I need. Two star rating for the store, one star for the salon and management. I went not once, but three times to get my problem fixed with a hair salon appointment. I have dark brown hair I dye platinum blonde, which I explained three times on the phone. They assured me I would be in good hands and assigned me to Jessie, the former salon manager and head stylist. I actually ended up seeing Sierra, who is brand new. She was very nice, but didn't know enough about timing lifts to make sure that my hair had two applications and the necessary time to process. I ended up VERY golden at the roots and purple on the ends. After three hours, I asked to leave and reschedule my hair cut because I was already running late for another appointment. I ended up being late anyway because their system wouldn't print my receipt for ten minutes. Sierra assured me Jessie would fix her mistakes in a separate appointment a week later. Jessie informed me he couldn't complete my recolor because they'd booked me for a toner only, but we could do the haircut today. Oh, and Sierra didn't mess up. It was my fault for not getting a consultation in the first place, and I can only expect so much lift. Even though I'd confirmed they could do this three times and I've had it done for two years in salons before. My fault. I left with a cut and called corporate. The GM called me later that day to apologize, asking what could be done to keep my business. She was very professional, but I said they'd had two chances to win my business and didn't, so I'd like a refund. She promised to have a store manager meet me with a receipt for a refund and a goodie bag. When I showed, no goodie bag. I didn't expect it, it's just insult to injury at this point. So TL;DR Ulta salon staff doesn't know how to book appointments, botched my color badly, blamed me for it, and then while they refunded my money, lied about giving me a goodie bag to win back my business. read more

This Ulta is the worst, I came in no one greeted me. I was looking for foundation I was there looking for a shade to fit and no one soul asked if I needed help. There were 3 ladies over there talking and didn't make eye contact or even care to ask if I needed help. This is the complete opposite experience I receive from River City's Ulta. Long story short I found my shade but this store will never receive a dime of money. I gladly will take my business to river city, and those girls that work in there need some training! read more

Big store full of.....guess? Make-up BUT the one type I wanted, plain loose mineral blush, no they dont have, only have blush with sparkles! Sparkles, really??? all women, not teens, don't want to wear sparkles on their face! Disappointed, I thought for sure I would be able to find a matte mineral powder blush here! read more

The salon was great. Erica was super friendly and I was happy with my hair when I left. I am not leaving 5 stars because i believe the store staff needs work. I needed help matching a foundation color and I asked the first person I saw who was closest to me. Turns out it was just a Clinique rep rather than an Ulta employee but there was no way to know because they had no name tags or badges or even a different color outfit to distinguish that. So they pushed Clinique products on me really hard rather than helping me find what was best for me. I never ended up buying what I went there to find because there were no actual ulta employees anywhere to be found. I don't think this is very ethical and it should be easier to tell who you are approaching as a customer. read more

Recently opened brand new location here in Yulee's growing commerce district, this was an exciting add to all the new development. My wife & daughters, co-workers & neighbors, and even local online bloggers were all eager to shop here. Having heard all the excitement, I figured I would check it out while shopping for gifts for the ladies in my life. Boy did I score big!! They offer great gift bags, staff are very knowledgeable about products and were very helpful in choosing gifts. They also recommend various items & products for myself that I may be interested in. There is a salon in the back that my daughter frequents, though I find it to be overpriced versus the Paul Mitchell Privately owned salon my wife & I currently use. It's also very open, so shoppers also can view guests as they are receiving salon treatments. It's somewhat odd in my opinion. (that's where they lose my 5th star) It's very clean, well lit and somewhat organized. There are huge amounts of products, various full line brands, and gadgets. Staff offers techniques and tricks for your beauty pleasure, there is a rewards program & various sales offered daily. Samples are also often available. It's like a beauty superstore - the Wal-Mart of Beauty in my opinion. All the ladies in my life enjoy shopping here, and I found it a very good place to get gifts that I know my ladies will be delighted with. read more

Great little ULTA store. It isnt quite as large as some of the other ULTA stores I have been in, but the product selection is on par with the bigger stores and the associates are very helpful without being obnoxious. Definitely one of the cleaner stores I have been in as well. My only issue is that they always seem to be out of stock on several things, which is a bit frustrating. I understand smaller items, however, I went the other day specifically for the original Naked palette, and they had none. read more

Normally I don't have many issues with ulta, considering I literally only get one thing from there. But I always have problems with my rewards, being told I can combine them or that they can be pulled up by the ulta workers then get to the store and be told something completely different, leaving me in a very awkward position and making me very angry. I keep trying to give second and third chances but am just left feeling stupid and paying more money than I want every time. I guess I'll have to start ordering online from somewhere else that will actually let me use the points I earn. read more

Product selection is good for the size. A little small compared to others. They offer a wax bar but every time I have gone in there to get my brows done there is never anyone working. One time I went in there and was told to come back by the lady because she was leaving in twenty minutes and didn't have the time to do my brows in that time.
