This Ulta location specifically has a variety of alllllll Makeup brands! The only thing is I feel like they are a little over priced compared to Sephora, also the staff arent very pleasant. I recommend the location in Clifton instead of the one here in Wayne. read more

Ulta has lost its vision of the Client experience. I ordered 3 items online. Received an email that stated that they only had 2. Come to the store to pick them up (wait 10 minutes)and I am informed they can't find my order. They go back, search once more and then I am informed that they only have 1. I asked if my card was refunded for the 2nd item as I had not received a notification. They can't confirm that my account has been credited for the 2nd item. The supervisors response is that she can't help me and that I need to go through the online portal and put In a claim. No alternative or resolution. Not even and apology. Worst part she dismisses me like"oh well" ... that was what infused this review. I probably had another $50-75 worth of merchandise in my hand. I left it at the counter and walked away. Why do I stick to Places that might not be as economical? Simple. Lack of client satisfaction is not worth the loss. #backtosephora read more

I've gave this place multiple chances as I get weekly blowouts but this place from the customer service from the rude girls at checkout to each hair stylist that has done my hair has been terrible. My recent blow out with Jacquelynn was way below mediocre. She did not use any product in my hair before blowing it out. I asked for big curls and even asked for her to use a big barrel wand yet my hair came out wavy and dropped by the next day (hair is now straight less than 24 hrs later). She didn't even hairspray my hair once she was finished - I had to ask her to do that. No salon products were even used on my hair - if I'm coming in for a blowout I don't expect to tell the stylist to use hairspray. For $40+tip I could've done my hair myself and it look exactly the same. Do not waste your time or money getting a blowout here. read more

To be honest, I will mostly come here for some things from Tony Moly that I have been looking for and haven't been able to find online. But the only thing is it's a bit pricey compared to how much I would have to pay online. Anyways I honestly loved it here. The employees were really nice and helpful. With so many places (even within walking distance of this location) to buy makeup... follow the advice of their rude and unhelpful employees and go somewhere else. I went to Ulta this afternoon and while they weren't very busy there was only one girl working on the floor. She was only focused on one customer so I asked if she could grab someone else to help me. She showed up with a girl who I am positive has no experience in make up application. They did not have my usual brand but I was open to try something new but needed help matching my color. I didn't like the color, application, or feel of the first brand we tried. I've actually used this brand in the past without issue, so I'm positive that it is the way she applied it. She showed me two other brands which she did not seem very knowledgeable of that I also had never heard of. They were both inexpensive and I explained that as much as I would love to spend less money on makeup inexpensive brands never seem to last me all day. She told me in a defensive tone to go to sephora if I want to spend more. When I told her that i still wanted to find something but wanted a brand with a better reputation (or at least one that she could show me is great) she got very defensive, nasty, and told me again to go somewhere else. Okay, no problem. I will continue to buy my make up in department stores and Sephora as even Ulta employees themselves tell you to shop elsewhere. I would have spoken to a manager had I not been running late for an appointment. Ulta- there is too much competition to employ those who have no interest in makeup, ability for proper application, or regard for the business of the company they work for. Disappointed. read more

Zero stars really. I have been to the salon twice for a cut and blowout. 2 different technicians. Honestly, I wouldn't have them cut a dogs hair. Both time horrible, just horrible. They say they are master stylists. They lied. Honestly I don't know where they got their training. I was in a pickle--a huge pickle, had a terrible morning was running behind for a black tie wedding--like really running behind and I had gotten to my make up appointment at another make up store (sephora) in the mall. When that finished my hair was unmanageable and frizzing and I had little to no time to go home and re-do it so I needed to find a blow out...FAST. I walked to a hair salon in the mall, they turned me down...I quickly googled and found Ulta and called them immediately. They were amazing. They were incredibly helpful, especially considering how frazzled I was. They took care of my hair, gave me a great blow out and even pinned it back into a semi-up do (it was HOT, and my hair would not stay straight with the heat and humidity). I honest to goodness cannot thank them enough. I will 100% be going to them for pre-wedding hair and make up. Angela was amazing, very good at styling and working with my very fine, thin, curly hair--she didnt abuse it with too much heat or even tease it too much (which is a blessing for my hair). I just want to say, thank you for helping me with my no-good-very-bad-day and turning it around. They even gave me a cup of coffee (because it was 1pm and I hadnt had my first cup of coffee for the day and had a migraine). Ulta was truly great. I spoke with Abigail on the phone, she was amazing. I honest to goodness cannot thank them enough. I just love this place. Kim gives a fantastic facial and Dani give a great cut along with a great coloring job. My granddaughter had a sweet sixteen party and the theme was "Hollywood" so Dani and I decided to color my hair in "rainbow colors". I made a great hit with my granddaughter. This took place on May 13th and the color is now completely gone. I highly recommend this place and the hours are perfect for anyone who works a full time job. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. The people at the salon are obnoxious and don't know wtf they're doing. First I was scheduled for a 12:30 appt but my stylists had a friend who showed up without an appt and she took her first not me. Then they weren't able to fix my color problem so the manager rudely told me not to come back. Luckily they gave me my money back but also left a shit ton of hair dye in my ear. They claim they have 10+ years of experience but do the same quality work as someone who just started beauty school. Beware. read more
