The overall upkeep of this location is not great. Some areas are messy. The staff followed me & my child around the store so much it was beyond ridiculous. I even looked around to see if I was doing anything different than anyone else. Security is one thing. This was borderline harassment. read more

I went to the Sephora in Willowbrook mall for my birthday frantically looking for thight high socks. I went into Sephora to receive my birthday gift. The employees were genuinely smiling and greeting everyone. I was asked if I needed help twice, but not bombarded by it. Also this one super hype employee chat with us while we sniffed fragrances. Cant remember her name, but I do remember Sam and Adriana (Maybe in was actually Alejandra which is a dope name) at the register. Thanks you guys. read more

This location has a lots of options for make-up choices here, which is great! This location however, can be quite congested during busier hours and very hard to maneuver with so many people inside. June 2018 they are currently in the process of remodeling, which I hope will make a bigger store. You can also ask for samples of some of the products to take home and try out later. read more

Chances are, the 5 star reviews are from the girls who work here: You're better off going to the "Sephora inside JC Penney" location in the mall at Willowbrook. I mean, granted, this location that I am currently reviewing is actually where you're more apt to finding a winder range of products. The girls here are never friendly or welcoming. I dont know if it's because they hate life, their job, or are simply just stuck up individuals. I always pay attention to customer service skills, and they SO lack it. This review was based only on customer service. If people could get more help when they walk into this store, maybe it would lessen their damaged-out items, as customers usually have to help themselves with products. I tend to gravitate to this Sephora more than the one that is located near my house. I find that the staff is much more helpful. I had a very nice young woman assist me for a while in selecting some "new and refreshing" scents. She must of spent a good 15 minutes with me. My only 2 gripes are: 1. For a small bottle of cologne, be prepared to pay $60+, all in the name of smelling good (not their fault but a gripe nonetheless) 2. Checking out when no one is on line gets confusing because generally there is no one there to ring you up. Otherwise I am always pleased with my selections and the service they provide. Plus you can build up points for free gifts and when it's your birthday they give you some free stuff. A bonus is you can ask for samples of any cologne/perfumes. read more

Walked into this store, and no one greeted or asked me if I needed assistance with anything. Meanwhile, there were a lot of workers that didn't seem like they were helping anyone out. A good amount were just standing around, and conversing with one another. The products I was looking for were not available (which were from three different makeup brands. Bummer). What really got to me was that I spotted this product Farsali which was extremely popular, and I wanted to look for it. Usually I don't like asking for assistance and just doing things on my own but today I decided to ask. I felt a little hurt because there was this middle aged women with brunette long that did not even want to help me out. I had asked her that I was looking for the farsali unicorn essence. She had NO idea what I was talking about, but it was a popular product in a glass box to show advertisement. I asked her if I could show her what I was talking about but she didn't want to help me. Just told me to go to the cashier because the product was there. So I walked around there and it was nowhere in sight. I didn't know his name but he was a guy and I had to ask him. He was at least kind enough to tell me it was not in stock anymore. If you don't want to help a customer out then ask one of your coworkers to help out so that way the customer at least feels like a priority. read more

My friend bought a makeup kit here last Monday and while she was waiting for it to be gift wrapped after paying for it they evacuated everyone because there was a bomb threat. It was pretty crazy with everyone running around terrified trying to exit the mall praying it wasn't some gunman situation because nobody quite knew what was going on. The staff told us not to worry about the purchase because they'll take care of it the following day and evacuate and so we did. Fortunately, we were able to leave the mall safe that night and the whole incident turned out to be a stunt pulled by some guy as a prank, but when my friend called the store the following day they started giving her the run around with excuses like they couldn't find the security video, etc and that they will get back to her when they find the purchased kit. When asked how long this will take they wouldn't give her an estimate and just told her to wait (indefinitely) in a very dismissive fashion. WTF. When I called the day after that to confront the manager (Christina, or Kristina) that my friend spoke with, she kept changing her story mid-conversation and tried to give me the run around as well. After a long frustrating conversation, she finally told me that she will give my friend a call by the end of the week so I guess we'll wait and see what happens. We've had nothing but great experiences at the other stores, but are starting wonder about this one. I really don't understand why tracking down a simple makeup kit that was left at the counter the night before is so difficult to find (unless one of them snatched it), nor why they can't simply offer to replace it as courtesy (given what we had to deal with at their store the night before during the scare) if they lost the original somehow. Anyway, if this situation doesn't resolve by Friday they give us no choice but to open a claim, not to mention stop shopping at their store and discourage others as well for their incompetence and poor customer experience. I hate this Sephora.. My mom felt a type of way as well. Customer service of Cashier - The cashier I had was friendly. I will give her 5/5. I forgot her name (I wish I knew) but she was very informative and sweet. She even let me know about the beauty insider redemption offers and the new cosmetic/ skincare products. I forgot my beauty insider card so she entered it into the system. She was patient with me and typed my email into the system. Customer Service of the Beauty Consultants : 0/5 - They are rude, mean and nasty. The girls just chat and ignore customers questions. Now, if you look young (I really look young in the face sadly). They will watch you and have some nerves to tell you the price of item (without you asking) and think you can't afford it.. Sorry, but if you think I can't afford a $30 lipstick because I'm wearing scurbs, you can go somewhere.. Your work ethnic unacceptable and judging someone on clothings alone is sad. Last time I check, retail doesn't pay that well. - Sorry, but I find it sad that the girl who works as a "skincare consultant" face is filled with acne. Environment: - The store is a mess. Garbage everyone, the tester either are messy or very nasty, and the floor have tissues all over the place. It should not be a mess after 1 hour of opening on a WEEKDAY. I understand customers can be gross, I used to work in retail, but make the effort to make your store more presentable. read more

I've been to this Sephora twice in 4 months. The first time I was helped by Linda who was wonderful!! We spoke a long time and she provided me with excellent service as well as tons of samples. Today I went in the store and even though the ladies on the sales floor (the blonde when I first came in who asked me immediately if she could help me find anything when she saw me looking around for something particular) and the brunette who was extremely helpful with Tarte, applying the concealer while dodging other customers moving back and forth and preparing a sample to try when I was unsure I liked it . She also helped me with skincare. Most associates won't leave their area and will direct you to the back to find a skincare associate. This lovely girl walked me back through the madhouse and helped me herself. I wish I remembered her name. I gave 3 stars for them. The problem came when I went to check out. The person at the register was very weird. I was using my American Express and she asked to (a) see the back of the card (b) asked to see my ID. When I questioned her as to why the third degree and told her I've never had to let anyone look at my card or ID with hundreds trips to Sephora and thousands of dollars spent over the years, she only replied,"We are strict in this store." Whatever that means. Anyway, I will not patronize this store again for that reason. There are plenty of others to go to. read more

I love sephora! This particular sephora is very friendly, helpful and (most importantly) patient. The Staff is ready to help and recommend certain products that might be beneficial to the consumer. They have a wide selection of products to meet your needs. Granted the products are pricey but you're paying for quality products. I love sephora but this one is seriously depressing. I went to look for a new eyeliner and pretty much every sample out on the floor was dried up, chewed up, or missing... the staff member helping me pretty much was going around trying to show me some of their products and ending up giving an excuse for every single product that was either misplaced or not functioning. read more

I called on Saturday August 12, 2017 to see if my moisturizer tint was in stock.. There was one in my shade. I asked if it could be held and would pick it up Monday. She took my name. Well, got there today, August 14, 2017 and nothing was held for me. To make it worse, they did not have it in stock. No one offered to order it, call another store, or apologize. Called Short Hills location- had me on hold for 8 minutes. Finally took my number while they continued to look. No call back. Worse service experience. I am appalled. read more

I confused with this location... from the minute I walked into to the time Ieft was horrible. I went through 3 workers before the 4th one actually was able to help me with concealer. I am in the beauty field my self make up is not my expertise. I don't need anyone telling how to apply makeup. I know what I can and can't use on my face and what works. The ladies as Sephora were extremely helpful today as I made some make up purchases. They recommended a great tint that would compliment my skin but not wash out my freckles. Queen an associate at the store helped my friend to define her lip with a great pencil, gloss combination. All in all great experience will return. read more

This store is so chaotic everytime I go in there! Most of the girls are super rude, and the manager the little short one need to step down from her high horse. Few months ago I spoke to her because I kept on seeing they were looking to hire people and she never called me back, I'm a licensed esthetician who knows what she's doing, never got a call back but I still still get emails from Sephora they need people. I used to come here all the time but prefer the Short Hills location now. I went in last week because I received the email about 20% off for Rouge members and have been meaning to look at the Fenty foundations. When I went in I was going in between 3 shades and trying to match myself but felt more comfortable getting a second opinion. A woman, who seemed a little frazzled/lost asked me if I needed any help. I told her that I would like to be color matched with Fenty because my cheeks are rosy and I couldn't decide if I was neutral, cool, or peachy. She told me she would send someone over and I heard her walkie someone. I waited a good 5 minutes while another associate kept coming to the Fenty drawer looking for different different colors for her client. She must have went into that drawer maybe 2 or 3 times all while I'm standing there. I'm not mad that she didn't help me, I understand that she had a client but she could have maybe told another associate that someone was waiting by Fenty although she probably didn't even notice - she never once looked at me which I know is a sure fire way to say "I can't/don't want to help you" (I've worked in retail before). The girl who originally asked if I needed help never came back around. It was a waste of time so hopefully I save you time and just recommend going to Short Hills. It's bigger, more associates who are friendlier and actually help. read more

Loveeeeee Sephora it's one of my favorite places to shop for beauty but only if you are willing to SPEND. I mean the products are 10000% worth it but it's hella expensive. Ranges from $13-$350 products. Most are around $30-$60 but if you don't mind a little boujee shopping it is definitely worth it. read more

I wish I could give this location zero stars. I understand that there's a lot of theft in your stores but I shouldn't feel uncomfortable shopping and looking around . From the moment I stepped in the store everyone was clocking my every single move. I went in there unsure if I even wanted to spend more money that day in the first place but I wanted to check the price of a primer that I was thinking about getting. I really didn't want to spend money but I felt like I had no choice but to buy something because if I didn't everyone in there would've thought I was stealing. As I was walking over to find the register I could literally hear this girl on her headset describing me and what I had in my hand (I was also holding a shopping bag from Macy's) . Y'all might as well pat me down and hold on to my bags before I come in and pat me down when I come out. I would feel so much more comfortable giving my consent to do that then walk back into a Sephora ever again . From now on I'll just make sure to order online and just send them back if I have any issues because the way they treat customers in these stores is ridiculous. Sephora is my happy go to place for makeup and skin care, but I have to say, today's visit was pretty SAD! First off, I went there to purchase the newest NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, but I was very disappointed to find out they ran out of the color that best matched my skin tone, AND they didn't even have a tester! Who does the inventory at this store, and how does a store "run out" of a NEW makeup product and not even have a tester??!!! The staff member "helping" me seemed rude, impatient and uninterested. She picked out another foundation for me but when I kept asking her questions about the product vs. other products, she seemed very irritated. When I asked her how does the foundation hold up in humidity, she seemed very confused and replied, "humidity as in somewhere hot?" Umm, no, humidity as in the negative temperatures outdoors right now!! REALLY??!!! After a few more minutes of contemplating which product I should get, she abruptly asked me if there was anything else she could help me with (in an almost sarcastic tone), after clearly seeing that I may still need more help. Truthfully, I had no desire to want her help anymore. I ended up looking for a concealer on my own, and left, unhappy. I would have liked to buy a new lipstick, and maybe a few other products, but her customer service skills was just plain awful and uninviting. read more

I wish I could give this sephora location zero stars because that's what it deserves. Every time my mom and I go in there we are always frustrated because no one is ever available to help. All the people working their are either occupied on a task and are too busy to pick their head up, or are chatting with another coworker. They are very unfriendly when asking them questions, it makes it seems like YOU are the one that's bothering them. One of the girls that worked their pushed me out of the way of a mirror I was looking in to grab something for another customer and I just looked at her and she said "I'm sorry" with such an attitude. The girls that work their give two craps about actually helping people, all they care about is socializing. Terrible customer service. Sephora should really look into hiring friendlier people that will actually take the time out to help customers. read more
