Very disappointed to see that the employee does not follow sanitation regulations, using the actual makeup tester on customers' skin instead of using the sample testers they provide for public use. Completely unprofessional and unsanitary. read more

It's been a couple weeks since I got my hair cut here and I'm still so upset and disappointed about it. I came in showing inspo to where my hair usually was at and told her what I would like and what I didn't want done. It should be a different type of talent this lady did everything I asked her not to do, not only that but the layers are not blended- and I'm one for a choppy layer, this shit is hideous. The bangs are also insanely uneven. I was so embarrassed after I ran to my car and bawled my eyes out for maybe half an hour. I did not even want anyone driving to see me like that. Why, just why do you ring me up after asking me for my phone number for my reward card only to tell me after you ring it up it's too late to use the 500 points I racked up- look at my points and ask me if I would like to use them BEFORE you ring me up... it's like I have to work for the points I earned and if I don't catch you in time, oh so sorry ma'am we already rang you all Up, maybe next time... just nuts! read more

I love ulta beauty store, they literally sell everything. This place is like the Walmart for beauty products. It's double the size than Sephora, and sell a wide variety of cosmetic products. You can buy make up bags, make up brushes, make up remover, so many kinds of skin care products and hair products. They have a mini salon in the back. They also offer travel size products near the register, and you can always Google Ulta beauty store for a coupon. I love this place I will go in for one thing and walk out with five. They sell blow dryer is flat iron curling iron's, body scrubs body lotions bath bombs, several brands of make up from high end to products that are affordable for everyone. read more

I've had some pretty solid experiences here to the point that even though I have an Ulta a few blocks away from me in Tampa, I'd rather drive 30-40 minutes to come to this location for both products and stylists! My favorite thing about this location is either that they have so many stylists who specialize in curly hair and offer curl by curl cuts, or that they carry MAC here too! I've been fighting growing out my formerly red hair for a few years now, and with curly hair it takes extra long for me to recover my length. I've gone through several bouts of color correction over the years, and finally got to a point where I can just kind of let it do it's thing with an occasional gloss and cut. The last time I came in, they beautifully blended my color so it was all one and I had that expectation going in for this visit. I saw Maya who rocked some gorgeous tight curls and we talked about my hair goals, what it's been through, and the likes. She felt that making it blend more like a balayage would be my best bet to blend it while leaving my natural hair alone mostly since it was long enough now to where we could pull it off while causing less damage to my natural. With the copper tones, it's something I expected that wouldn't be able to get as light as my natural so after some thought, I feel okay with how it was processed. Maya offered a fountain of knowledge on curly hair, rumors, myths, and all the styling tools out there. I rescheduled my next curl by curl cut to be with her and can't wait to see if I've finally found my go to curly stylist! Excited for wash day to see exactly how my curls handle the gloss as well and what it looks like, and genuinely forgot my natural hair was as ashy as it looks in my final photo! Will definitely be back next month and look forward to continuing to be a Diamond loyalty member at my favorite beauty spot. read more

Great place. I love Ulta in general but this specific location has employees that are so helpful. I have had issues with acne and needing to adjust my skincare and one of their employees provided me with great advice as she has dealt with it herself. The skincare she added has helped tremendously. The manager was able to rematch me on a foundation I had previously purchased a few months prior and gave me no issues with exchanging the products. Went to buy some face care products and they had the whole isle shut down for reorganization on a Monday at 12:30 pm then the associate acted put out when I asked her to get something for me. Like really? Why in the world would you reorganize a store in the middle of the day???? Alright, Listen , everyone has that one friend that lies to her about her makeup!!!! Lauren isn't that girl. This young woman ask me if I needed help and assisted till the very end (talk about customer service!). Now I am not new to makeup but my brands have been discontinuing shades and I needed to find a replacement. Trial and error did Lauren go through to find me a shade for not just my tone but my age and what I was looking to fade out (facial scarring). This young woman not only listened but stayed on track (cause I am a conversationalist). Thank goodness for NY attitude! She presented me with a new brand a very comfortable and personable experience. The greatest part is she didn't throw shade! Her attitude was positive and energetic and her knowledge was on point for every question I asked... not only will I be requesting her when I go back. This took a few days to write, because I would prefer to write good reviews. This place was nice when it first opened, but they have had consistent employee issues from about the 6 month mark. At one point there was a large group of gay men on the floor doing makeup, and gay men, who choose to be catty, wearing way too much makeup just does not cut it for everyone. That phase seemed to have passed but now we have a floor full of woke, wanna be beauty 'influencers'. The MAC artist is down right hostile to customers. I have been going here since they opened, tolerating their choice of employees that they feel will keep them relevant and cutting edge, but management has forgotten to demand, polite, responsive, courteous, all the good qualities of better employees. I tried to keep overlooking, but after the MAC artist the other day, I will not be returning. It is worth it to wait for Sephora to open in Kohls instead. I don't think I have ever wanted to spend money so bad but couldn't lol. If the store wasn't brand new, nicely stocked, clean and organized I would give it zero stars. I have been shopping at ulta for many years and it feels like every year the customer service continues to decline which is really unfortunate. Shopping for make up should be fun not frustrating but my frustration with Ulta is through the roof. I initially stopped at the citrus park location, and they were severely understaffed the one women on the floor was awesome she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, the product I normally use wasn't available and I needed help finding a replacement and I had a few other questions so I tried to wait but after a while I decided to leave and go to another location, I remembered that a new location opened up not to far from us so I headed there. I walked in it was beautiful clean well organized and there were only 2 other customers yay! I want to say there were about 4-5 girls standing around initially I was like perfect until I quickly realized as I was gathering the stuff I could on my own at no point did any one say hello or acknowledge my existence. I continued to walk around and grab stuff when I got to the point where I needed some assistance I realized I had been in the store for about 20 min with only a couple other people I looked at the associates 2 were in "deep" conversation with each other near the front the other 2 were chatting near the register with each other and 1 was putting stuff away. At that point I realized these girls don't give a shit they have customers in the store and maybe this ulta isn't the place either. I was standing in front of a display googling about a product and one of the girls walked right pass me normally they would ask if I needed help by the time I looked up she was some distance ahead of me At that point I decided in a situation like this you shouldn't have to chase down service at no point did anyone say hello or make eye contact. I decided to leave my bag and walked out. I guess it's time to see what the service is like at Sephora or Walmart lol. read more
