HI! Never been before, but they got a good yelp review, so gave it a try. No issues, booked several days in advance. Got a confirmation and a text reminding me of the appointment. I show up, and no one is there. I called the salon, and a woman answered and said the person who is doing my hair went to get hair dye and she'd be there soon. Victoria shows up, I walk in and she says, "Are you the foil?" I said yes, and she immediately starts to be very aggressive and blames the online booking app, and said they don't even open until 10. Told me to take a seat, and the owner would be in to do my hair. I felt attacked, and frankly off put by the unprofessionalism that I casually mentioned I had no way of knowing any of that, and they shouldn't allow booking online for times they aren't open. Victoria starts screaming at me in front of other clients, so I walked out and said I'll just go and leave you a bad review. She proceeded to call someone and told them I was " in her face screaming"at her, that I was leaving and that I had "threatened her business". At that point, I calmly said, "I'll just wait here outside for your boss" then Victoria says " I'm the boss, the owner is my Mother!". So, I waited some more and a woman pulls up and greets me and starts blaming the online booking. Then, Victoria sticks her head out the door and yells some more. Mom had to tell her to go inside twice and shut the door in her face. The real owner did show kindness and was calm, like me, and invited me inside to do my hair. I politely refused, because I didn't feel comfortable and didn't want to spend money there. I have no idea how they do hair, but I know it's not a welcoming nor relaxing atmosphere to spend time in! The daughter of the owner has a lot to learn about how to conduct herself in public. I hope no one else gets the rude, aggressive wrath of this person.it was the worst experience I've ever had at a business. Her mom tried to make an excuse for her behavior saying "she tore into her ass" before I arrived because she thought I was her daughter's client. I get it, but none of it was my fault. I went here a couple months ago because I found this place on Yelp and Groupon. I don't have a salon yet up here al I ya e this place a chance. I'm not usually hard on a Salon if it's not great but this place was the worst salon I have ever given my hair and trust too. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED BOBBIE DO NOT CUT MORE THAN A HALF INCH OFF MY HAIR!!!! Well I knew immediately she chopped it to hell!! She kept back peddling and when I came home my husband freaked out. I have pictures of me before and after and it's still making me rage!! She claimed to have given me a Condition treatment that lasts 4-6 weeks and it didn't do a damn thing. Some strange lady walked in and she had her condition my hair. It was the worst .. she barley put shit in my hair and acted like she never did this before. BOBBIE WAS SO DISTRACTED WITH 3 other clients she was also doing at the same time as me. My hair still looks like shit because of her salon I will post this on every media site I can.... I will drive to Tampa off Kennedy and Henderson to Mint Salon to get TRUE REAL PROFESSIONAL HAIRSTYLISTS. UGH IM SO DISGUSTED!!! My hair is ruined .. Bobbie is great! Amazing with color. She knows exactly the right colors for highlights. I have pretty dark hair and she was able to bring it to the perfect shade of blonde. She's very fast which is great for everyone who isn't looking to spend a whole day in the hair salon but she's sure to check in throughout the process. Her aftercare tips are great and unlike many hair salons she does it without pushing products on you. Definitely call to make an appointment because it's no surprise she's in high demand. read more

Cannot give a full review, as Bobbie did not show up for our appointment. I believe Melissa D. Is correct as the place is very dirty, the chairs I was invited to sit in while I waited were filthy, if the first impression is any indication of the owner, I say do not waste your time going to this dump. I did get sob story excuses as to why the Bobbie was late, all in text messages, which if she had any class at all, (which is obvious she does not) She would have used this method to communicate before making a client wait for over 25 minutes for a scheduled appointment. As she has told me, she does not need my business. That is good because I choose my charities and I choose my business relationships. This salon does not qualify for either. read more

The first time I went there was as a walking and the owner was very profesional and cordial I loved was she did really loved the looked. Then today I called and some rude with no phone manners told me there was nothing until February and then hung up the phone right on my face. A tip of advice Mrs Kane get rid off that person because she will bring your place down. read more

I love going to Secrets salon in Hudson. I found it a few years back on a Groupon I think and I haven't stopped since then. Bobbie is fun, friendly and does a great job with my hair. I won't go back again. I have been to this salon several times without a problem. The last time, I called and asked if the stylist could cut a shag haircut. She said that she could. I brought pictures and explained the cut I wanted. The cut didn't come anywhere near what I asked for. Obviously her mind was somewhere else and she didn't listen to what I asked for. The owner didn't like it when I voiced disapproval and coped an attitude. I called the next day, and the owner was rude and made me feel like I didn't want to go back to have the cut fixed. I paid $36 for a crappy haircut. No customer service skills at all. read more
