UPDATE 9/29/18: about a week or so after I posted this review, Steve, the owner personally reached…read moreout to me to listen to my experience. He was understanding, compassionate, and vowed to make it right. Considering my first experience at their salon was so wonderful, I was open to the opportunity to have his team correct my hair. He set me up with their blonding specialist, Laura. She reached out to me the night before my appointment to ask me what my concerns were, what I was looking to achieve and to send her pictures of my current hair and the look I wanted. Again when I walked in the atmosphere of the salon was awesome. Laura went over what I wanted again, and fully delivered what I had originally wanted. After I left Steve again reached out to me to make sure everything went well. I cannot tell you how great it felt to have someone care so much about their business and their clients, and so willing to listen and fix any mistakes that were made. I didn't make a mistake going here at all. I already scheduled my next appointment with Laura and I truly look forward to it, and staying a part of the Salon 427 family. You won't find more dedicated stylists, and more importantly a leader like Steve who makes sure his guests are 100% taken care of. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this have a good ending. I first went here in November of 2016, when their location was on Forest Hill Road. Brittany did my hair and it was PERFECTION. life happened, and I haven't had a chance to have color since. So walking into this, I already had great expectations. I called last minute for a hair cut appointment (on a Tuesday for a Saturday appointment) and everything seemed ok, Brittany was not available on the weekends so I took another stylist. My appointment was at 4pm. Around 1pm that day I get a phone call from them asking if I was ok. I said of course, she proceeds to say 'well your appointment was at 12:45. Now I know she said 4, I marked it in my calendar. Whatever, said she could see me at 2. When I arrived I had to wait 15 extra minutes, which wasn't a big deal to me because I got a nice beverage from the receptionist. I meet with Krystal and she starts asking me about my color. Again, I scheduled an appointment for just a cut. I should have took it as a sign right there to NOT get color, but it was my first time out since my daughter was born so I figured why not. We went over what I had previously, what I wanted now, and I showed her a picture. I was going for subtle, caramel color. What I ended up with was a nightmare. My highlights were splotchy, streaky, yellow, and thick. Think 90's. And not in a good way. I didn't immediately realize due to the poor lighting and when I arrived home my husband literally said 'yikes'. So I reached out to them, explained what happened and yes, they were very responsive. But again, I feel like they had me mixed up with someone else! The girl on the phone kept asking me about my curls (I have straight hair) and said she wasn't going to have time to fix it and curl it like it was (again, I do not have curly hair nor did she curl it, I left with straight hair and she even took pictures of it!!) so I get there on Sunday and Cheyenne helped her fix the color. Now, there is a stylist who not only listens but delivered what I wanted. The only problem is they had to dye over the blonde, and it was a demi so it's already starting to fade out. I used to recommend this salon to everyone, but I cannot see myself returning when someone who is a level 3 stylist in their opinion can not execute what a customer asks for.

Consult: Jan 6 (with owner Kym) Appointment: Jan 13…read moreReturn: Jan 14 Total: $500 I hate leaving reviews like this, but this experience really got to me. I booked a consult on Jan 6 with the owner (Kym) for a soft strawberry blonde balayage + color correction and I showed inspiration photos. During the consult I was handed off to Jessica because she was described as their "fashion color" specialist. On Jan 13 I paid $500 and left with bright red roots and violet-toned hair. The color was uneven and not blended--it looked bold and patchy, not soft and natural like we discussed. I also asked for a trim (I hadn't cut my hair in years, so I knew I needed length off), but more was taken off than I expected. My before picture was in loose curls, but even accounting for that, it was more than I was comfortable with. I came back on Jan 14 asking for a senior stylist to correct it because I didn't feel confident repeating the same process with the same person. I was brushed off and told the same stylist would be doing the correction again. While I was seated at the wash station, Kym told my partner to move to the waiting area and said she would get a trespass warrant if he didn't. After he left, I felt like I was being pressured to go forward with a fix right then, and I no longer felt comfortable allowing them to keep working on my hair. When I asked for a refund, I was told they only do "fixes," not refunds. Between the outcome and how it was handled, I wouldn't go back.

Great blow up! Love Kats work. She's very knowledgable with what she does. 5 stars on the outcome!…read moreThe only mishap was because they told us in the beginning we get two free service things for my first visit and I didn't get offered them during the appt. I didn't want to say anything bc I wasn't when it would happen. It was like a hand massage and wax hand thing or neck massage and something else. Although that didn't happen I got two alcoholic beverages so that made up for it! Lol! My BF was getting a blow out too and also loved this place!! We will def be back!

This salon is top-notch. From the moment I walked in the door (with no appointment for a blow-out),…read morethe service was impeccable! I was offered a choice of beverages (water, wine, mimosa, infused water, etc), which was brought out on a platter with a flower & pretzels. I was then given a full tour of the salon. Erin was the stylist who did my hair wash & blow out. She did a perfect job. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products that would work best in my hair & offered me some good tips for keeping my hair healthy. She started my service by bringing me into the salons "wash room", which is a separate room in the salon that has a uniquely relaxing vibe. The music is peaceful (and different than the music in the rest of the salon, which is much more up beat) and the lights are dimmed to a perfectly relaxing tone. Once inside the wash room, Erin offered me my choice of 2 free "upgrades". The upgrades were offered because I was a new customer (despite the fact that I was not local, they still gave me the upgrades for free). I chose the hot towel treatment & 5 minute hand/arm massage but some of the other options included: 5 minute shoulder massage, 5 minute scalp massage, etc. After a very relaxing & invigorating hair wash & complimentary hand/arm massage & hot towel treatment, I was taken to Erin's station where she proceeded to give me an excellent blow-out in just 30 minutes - since I had told her that I needed to catch a plane in a few hours. I appreciate the fact that she was conscientious of my time limits, yet did not compromise a bit of the service I received. I left the salon with great looking hair & extremely happy. The best part about it was that I got all of this for the price of $35! This salon is super clean (and each brush is sanitized after each client), the atmosphere is chic & relaxing, the service is on point, the prices are more than reasonable & the product line is all great! I really couldn't find one flaw about this salon. I highly recommend Salon 427 to anyone looking for hair services. I will definitely be back next time I am in the Spring Hill area.
