I made appointments for me and my bridesmaids, but I never had a "dry run". I could not have been happier with my experience at Capelli Hair Salon. Two of us were immediately seated upon entering. The women listened to what we wanted, looked at photos, and then replicated it the best they could. Our hair was done in a short amount of time and then the two women helping us proceeded to give the remaining two girls beautiful hair styles. My friend also convinced me to get my makeup done for the wedding. As a disclaimer, I hate makeup and it hates me. I always feel like a dirty cat when wearing makeup and it just seems to weigh down my face. The woman who helped me with my makeup listened to what I wanted and definitely did not overdo the makeup but still covered all those bags under the eyes. I would highly recommend Capelli Hair Salon. I called this morning asking about what happened I was told that it was his fault he wasn't more specific. When I said isn't shaping around the ears and the neck area standard? She said no! He had asked for his hair to fall at just above this eyebrows and she cut way too much off. He said she was rushing and only took 10 mins to cut his hair! She was extremely RUDE to me and our son- especially for an owner of the business this is not right! Her attitude and lack of professionalism is the reason why a lot of my friends go elsewhere. I booked for the service with the most amount of time to be considerate of what they would need to do. The violet I had in there was the only color I had, and it was professional color. I am incredibly disappointed a dissatisfied and would not trust them to do my hair again. The foil work did not go to the root, nor did they bother toning to try and make it blend. Today was my first time at this salon…read more The salon is very easy to get to because it's right across the street from the parking garage on Fleet St. and also around the block from the smaller lot by Hanover St. I saw Lauren for my single process color and haircut. We talked about my color and cut and Lauren was right on par with exactly what I wanted. She was very nice, welcoming and open to what I wanted. I started with unevenly colored hair, long root growth and old faded dye on the other bottom half. I was looking to be rid of the faded reddish color and start going lighter so that eventually I can have a much lighter brown. The color came out nice! It's a nice lighter brown and looks a lot more even. The haircut was just what I wanted, shorter and a little layering with texture. She gave me options of styling it and parting it differently.
