Other places feel like an assembly line to get the next client in the chair, leading to a rushed experience and subpar nails. Helen was meticulous and lovely, and I highly recommend her. I'm someone who can not focus if my nails are not perfectly smooth and symmetrical (iykyk) so Universal Nails is the place to go for perfection!

I waited about 5 minutes and I was told someone would be available for my manicure at 5:00. Meanwhile, I watched the three twenty somethings get seated and served. I waited for another 15 minutes, and NO ONE was available, they were all knee-deep servicing customers. I am over 50 and feel like this was age discrimination. Clearly these three came in after me and they all stated they didn't have an appointment. I was looking for a nail salon that I could continue to do business with; it won't be this one. I let the manager know I was at the store before this three yet I was still waiting and walked out. If you're not a 20 something I'd find another salon, I know I will!

It was…read moremy birthday and we are vacationing and wanted pedicures so I called and made two appointments for my daughter (18 years) and I.. Upon entering the man did not greet us, he waited 10 seconds and said "sign in" as I was already doing it. He then got mad at us for touching the nail polish and said "put it back in the right spot". About 15 minutes later we get called back to sit and my daughter got so lucky with her nail tech (Tam), a young man who was doing his all to make her experience good - I'm glad she got him! My lady came over 15 minutes after that, she did not make eye contact, she did not greet me and didn't say a word to me the whole time besides "water" meaning 'put your feet in the water' or a hard tap on my leg meaning 'take them out of water'. At one point I told her I had a hurt toenail and it probably needed a tool because a file wouldn't do the job (I do this everytime I get a pedicure and have never had a problem and the issue is visible) she completely ignored me. This was the most uncomfortable experience I've had, and it costed me $100 - worst part of all, it was my birthday and all I wanted was a decent pedicure with some hospitality!
