I've been looking for a place for a great pedicure. I walked in (on a Friday) and was seated within 10 minutes. No appointments required. I had a deluxe GEL pedicure, as the sign didn't differentiate between the regular GEL other than the price of $50/$60. The deluxe had warm towels, sugar scrub, lotion and hot stone calf massage. First of all, if you are just passing through town, avoid this place completely !!! Possibly the worst experience ever! How do you have me waiting for almost 1 hour and then when I'm sitting at a chair, I get told that they do not do the type of work that I'm seeking (which is to simply repair a broken nail!)! completely unprofessional ! the fruitcake in the front should've simply told me that type of service is not offered from the get go instead of having me sit around like a dummy!! Probably the worst service i have ever received anywhere. went in for a simple fill with white French tips with crome and left with half done nails because of how aggressive the nail tech was with my hands and the fact she could not get them shaped correctly. they were all super friendly, but the nails do not look good. i asked for SQUARE acrylics and they looked like they were a really good shape but when he put the acrylic on it the top of the nails were way to wide and they looked like duck nails. i showed him a picture of what i wanted, the picture had a nice baby pink base color and he gave me a nude. they charged me 70$ for a simple design. the lady who did the design did absolutely amazing free hand work but the guy who put the nails on did a horrible job read more

They are efficient and clean but the way they treat their customers is appalling. Either no one talks to you or the woman at station one is screeching at you. Their payment system is confusing, you have to specify a tip before hand when you pay with a card. Then they told me to pay with Venmo and I decided I'd grab the cash out of my vehicle for the tip and Venmo'd the cost of service. I kid you not the woman at station one started yelling that I didn't send the tip! I was mortified and kind of dumbstruck, so I sent the tip via Venmo and left, embarrassed with half the salon looking at me. I won't be back. I went 2 weeks ago and got my nails done with dip polish. The top coat started coming off after a week. I thought i would give them one more try so I went back yesterday to have new dip put on. My nails look like a 5 year old did them. I'll be posting pictures. At first I thought maybe is was just dip powder on my cuticles but it didn't come off when I washed my hands. After washing my hands I turned to show the girl who had done them and she was no where to be found. The woman sitting at the next station said "you're done". Frustrated, I just paid and left. I have started coming here frequently because it's just a couple minutes to drive. That was my main factor. At first I was getting gel manicures and then I switched to dip. I only get 2-3 weeks before they break, but I am VERY hard on my nails with my job right now. The color and service here is always good though, I don't really chat a whole lot so it's fine. Next time I will ask to cut the nails shorter because I find with 3 weeks after a dip manicure they're just way too long to function. If you come on a weekend you have to get there right when they open to be seen, or you have to come back in 2-3 hours. Make an appointment if you can. Paying cash is the easiest option. One thing I miss since Covid started is that no nail salons will do hand massages anymore or lotion, they just shoo you out the door with dry hands. read more

He was extremely condescending and rough. Smudged the wet acrylic on my thumb, and then angrily blamed me for it. My thumb nail broke in half AN HOUR AFTER I LEFT. Came back the next day for a fix (every salon i've ever been to will fix broken or chipped nails within a few days) I was told to wait, sat for HALF AN HOUR before the salon owner comes over to say they will charge me to fix the nail. The owner, I assume, yelled at me to take her feet out of the water because the don't use the water if they aren't getting a pedicure. I said okay and she took her feet out of the water. Went here for the first time last night, I usually go to a salon across town but decided to switch it up a bit. There was only one other person in the whole place, not at all busy for a Saturday. The people working weren't overly friendly but not rude either, just going through the motions I guess. There were 3 of us getting pedicures, it all felt very rushed, one by one as we finished we were sent off to put our feet under tables with fans to dry faster. As we sat there, everyone started putting their coats on and holding their purses as if we were holding them up from leaving, even though there was at least 15-20 minutes left before they closed for the day. Establishment was clean, not overly cluttered. Price was $29 for the pedi, plus an extra $2 if you use a card to pay and they only accept tips in cash. Overall, it was a decent pedi but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here again. read more

Quick and friendly service. I went in to make an appointment and they actually had time right then and there I waited only maybe 5 minutes to begin. Got a full set which came out really great with suggestions from the gentleman who was doing my nails. Loved the experience I've been to a few places before back where I'm from and Id say they are on par with my favorite from back home. Unfortunately I will never be returning here. I have been to this salon two times, and both times I had to wait over an hour and a half to get a gel manicure. Okay, that's fine.. I didn't make an appointment and went on busy days. However, both times I went they were severely understaffed and rushed through every client. They also kept switching between different clients without washing hands or changing tools. So myself and the girl next to me had the same technician at the same time, prolonging our stay in the salon. When it was my turn I asked for a specific color and she brought a completely different one. When I told her it was wrong, she said it was the one I picked and kept going. My nails are bumpy, streaky, and not the color I chose. The picture below is two days after I got them done and decided to write this review. This place does a great job on nails but the attitudes of some of the employees could be better. The two men that work there were not very welcoming this time. My friend and I walked in and they asked what we wanted done. I said one mani and one pedi. They then filled up two pedi stations and told us to sit. I then repeated "sorry just one pedi and one mani". The guy then said "you said yes to two pedis". I apologized for the consul on and sat down for a mani with another younger gentleman. This gentleman did not talk to me the whole time besides to tell me how to position my hands. He was very aggressive with turning my hands to his liking and even laughed at me at one point because apparently I wasn't holding my hands out correctly? This experience just felt very weird. THIS NAIL PLACE SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!!! They are rude, they give very poor service, and they don't stand by their work. Don't even get a pedicure here. I got a pedicure and I had to come home a do it all over myself. The tech left my feet rough and dry and short changed me on service b/c she was rushed. My daughters service is the real insult. She went in for a fill and got a guy tech, he filed her skin off and cut her, he then proceeded to slap the fill on lumpy and threw polish on top. It was disgusting and all crooked. I took her back the next day to hopefully get someone else and for them to fix their sloppy work. They told me I needed to pay another $10. To put gel on top, okay, she's never had to do that but I did pay another $10. On top of paying for the fill. Two days later her nail snapped off right at the bottom where he did the fill. I went back again and they told me to pay another $5. To fix her nail. Not only am I writing this review but I'm filling a complaint with the board of cosmetology. I was a nail technician and this place absolutely should not be in business. It's a disgrace to the nail service industry. I had a gift card that I received for Christmas a couple of years ago and when I went in to use it the lady said that it wasn't valid because it has a tear in it. Now I know that it is a couple of years old but it was clearly written and the tear was not on any important information. I was very upset that she didn't even get up to come look at it she just saw the tear and said no plain and simple no! In NH there is a law that states if you purchase a gift card say for $50 and you pay $50 for it with no discounts or any special offers than that gift card can't expire because you paid equal value for it. I hadn't been there in awhile obviously but what o saw didn't impress me so I just left and didn't even argue with her. The place was dirty, the nail dust was everywhere and the tools they were using looked old and broken like the nail buffer that I saw someone using on a lady the file paper on the sides was almost none existent and who knows how many people they re use the tools on without any proper disinfectant. I will never step foot in there again. At least the lady could've attempted to look at my gift card and see the extent of the damage but she didn't even bother just a no! I'm not one to ever complain on Yelp, however this time I find it neccessary, I came in after work on a Thursday afternoon, had a mani, pedi, had a nice enough experience, went home. The next day I went tubing down the Saco with daughter. When I got out of the water, both middle fingers, lifted completely off, both pointers and ring fingers had started lifting. I made an appt for Sunday, waited over half an hour to be seen, asked if he would redo my nails, I believed it to be the brand of shellac, fellow employee of Vincent said it was because I had too much on, regardless they started coming off in one day, I expected something, he told me he could redo the ruined ones with the same color, I felt the color was the issue, so that made no sense, he then offered to redo them with a new color but I had to pay, I refused, he then said he could redo them with a new brand different color on the worse nails, are you kidding, I didn't want mismatched nails. I just told him to take the shellac off at this point. The lady came over that originally told me I had to much on, offered to put regular polish on for free, or discount a new set of shellac nails, I just told her to take it off, I will not be back. I was told a company could not run like that, I asked "how, by taking care of a customer that isn't happy with the product you represent, I beg to differ." I come here all the time to get my nails done. I have a box of my own so the files they use are only used on me. Very clean. Usually very busy. I try to go after work on weekdays but my schedule doesn't always allow that. I've been told several times to "come back tomorrow". Overall great place. Very friendly. Went to the portsmouth location for gel mani and a pedi. Been going for a while and things have been fine but If you make a special request as I did the last time I asked for an overlay on a nail that was cracking on the corner I got an attitude. This time I asked for a fake mail to be put on my big toe. Even though a previous Tech told me they could do it and they would. The nail Tech that was the only one in the shop doing nails refused and said he was fired he should have never told me that and then she walked away. She was kind of rude I'd let the Tech that was working on me finish my pedicure with no nail Polish in complete my gel manicure and then I left. I will never return . I feel if you're willing to pay for an additional service in it is possible to do that service as I have had it done many times then you should receive that service instead of receiving rudeness in return . read more

My step sister and I went to Tip and Toe to get acrylics and eyebrow waxed. While they did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and a nails, my step sister did not get the same results. The man painting her nails demanded she pay and tip before he painted her nails, failed to ask her the length she wanted, and took a break to eat whilst panting her nails. This place sucks, I went in to have shellac polish on my nails I said that I didn't want a manicure because they always cut my cuticles too far and make them bleed. The lady gets the stuff for a manicure, I again tell her no manicure. I pick out the color I want and they don't have the color anymore. I look for a new color and she suggests picking a color and adding sparkle to it I say okay do one nail and I will see if I like it. Well I didn't like it they are telling me I have to make up my mind and that my nail tech doesn't speak English. So I guess that I took to long picking my color because my nail tech gets up and started doing someone else pedicure and says something I could not understand. The first clear layer of shellac was on my nails but because I hadn't picked my color she didn't let them finish under the light so they were tacky and had gotten dust in them. I told the guy nail tech that came over next that there was dust stuck in the polish so he grabbed the cuticle cutters and jammed them into my nail pushing down and pull off the polish not comfortable at all and then cut my finger and made it bleed and didn't care. He was rude to me while he put the rest of my polish on jerking my hands around and just acting pissy. When he was done with the polish he said put under the light and walked off not to come back till I gather my belongings to get up to leave. Worst nail salon I have been to around here actually probably worst one I have ever been to EVER. Don't go here there are better salons around and they charge a lot for being rude. read more

This is actually for their new Portsmouth location - I made an appointment last Friday (6/3) for Saturday morning. I was there a few minutes past my 10am appointment, and I was promptly seated in one of their chairs for a pedicure, and I was helped right away. It was a very relaxing pedicure. I'm a little over 4 months pregnant, so being able to just sit and relax is heavenly. Their massage portion of the pedicure was phenomenal. This location is really convenient from my place of work, too; I can't wait to go back! read more
