Rude stuff, never have anything on the shelfs although the app shows that the product is in stock, gotta ask someone to bring the product from the back, and most of the time they'll just say "we don't have it" cause they're too lazy to go and bring it. When asked for a manger, they preferred to hide on the back and didn't end up coming out and taking to the customer. My husband bought a $100 gift card for me for Christmas at the Ulta store in Moscow on December 5th, between 12:30pm and 1:30 pm. When I went to use my gift card there was only $80. When we went into Ulta I let the "sales manager" know what the date was and what the time was, and she told me "our tills are off everyday we do thousands of dollars in of sales. Sometimes is over $200 and sometimes it's under $200. There is no way for us to track that $20 that is missing down to your gift card purchase since a phone number was not used when it was purchased." She then let me know that she has "made sure all her girls know to ALWAYS get a number when making a gift card purchase, and there's no way one didn't ask for a phone number when he bought the gift card." Here is a "sales manager" knowing nothing about how balancing tills works??? If you're cash tills are always over or under, according to any experience I've had of balancing till, that means they are either shorting change to customers or giving too much. Either way, that's probably where the $20 went that wasn't given back in cash, or on my gift card. My number has never been in an Ulta before, to expect him to know about a phone number is silly, so I would say it's safe to say, nobody asked him to put this gift card under a phone number. The Sales manager" then told me "our hands are tied, you'll need to call the customer service number" I called the customer service number twice. 30 minute phone call for her to tell me someone will reach out to me about this (never did) so I had to call back and that was a 49 minute phone call; and they told me there isn't anything they can do. I get it's just $20, that's not the point. The point is, a corporation doesn't deserve the $20 that my husband already worked for. And then to just tell me I am out of luck; is really sad to me. I'm not asking for hundreds of dollars, or anything more than what was given to the lady at the register.. end of rant. read more

Asked for assistance with the cologne case. Staff member said she was "busy with an appointment". Was with my son and we both apologized UNTIL we realized that her "appointment" was with another staff member-who actually called another staff member to unlock the case. I didn't realize that make up appointments with other staff members took precedence over other customers. Rude. read more

I started getting my hair cut here just prior to Covid. I loved how Anastasia cut it, it was about a year before I was able to go back. When I did, Anastasia was still there , thankfully! Since then. I've been back about every 6-8 weeks. My hair has never looked better! That is no exaggeration! I love that I can literally wash and just air dry and it looks amazing! If you need good make up advise see TaylorAnne at Ulta Beauty. She is such a sweetheart, very friendly and welcoming, and was super helpful and knowledgeable about all the products. Since Macy's closed and the Ulta store opened it has become my "go to" for beauty needs. Before meeting TaylorAnne a few months ago, I always left the store feeling frustrated as if I was imposing on the workers to ask questions about their products. Some of them were outright rude acting like I was interrupting their gossip time or the touch up their own make up. Thank you TaylorAnne for taking your job seriously and providing outstanding customer service. I appreciate you and admire your work ethic. I can only assume you are a student here and will be moving on at some point. Selection was good and the price range was great. I could pick up some nice things but pop over to the other side and pick up something cheap that I needed for the day. I wish they had more high end stuff I mean we already have drug stores. Both times I have gone in, however, I have had trouble flagging someone down and getting them to stay with me and to answer my questions. Also if you do not know the exact product name and brand they seem a bit lost in helping you find what you need. Like you cannot just say I need a liquid highlight they kinda freeze. This is my first experience with the company so maybe its my expectations. It is also staffed with mostly college age women which I do not mind but I am in my early 30s and the one person who "helped me" last time kept mentioning how this and that had anti-aging properties in it-unprompted. Apparently EVERYTHING Ultra sells has anti-aging properties even down to the free gift of eyeliner. It was just a weird thing to keep mentioning as I am not old and I do not need anti-aging anything. Not to mention nothing really has anti-aging properties, I get its a gimmick in the make-up industry; but still laid on a little thick. read more

Canceled my hair appointment on my birthday because they made the mistake of overbooking and gave me 24 hour notice when I booked over a week in advance. Didn't even give me an option to get squeezed in at a different time - it was just a styling so it would've been 30 minutes. Everything else was full so I couldn't book elsewhere. I was ecstatic that Ulta was coming to town, however, this store has been a disappointment from the moment it opened. I've never been approached or asked if I needed help in this store. The staff seem cranky and disdainful of customers...which makes it difficult to approach them if you did in fact need help. And I know makeup, I can't imagine what it would be like if you needed guidance. The last time I was in this store I asked a staff member about waterproof mascara three times, the only thing she said to me from behind her poorly applied fake eyelashes was, "If it's waterproof, it will say on the box." Oh...thank you, I had no idea! I love Ulta, but this store needs an attitude adjustment. read more

She was great to talk with, and hair grows so I'm easy going about that... however... paid full price, my bangs were unbalanced, super thick on one side not as thick on the other, color was too dark. Booked online for a deluxe haircut and accent highlights. My first experience getting highlights. I'd asked for dark Auburn highlights to blend with my almost black hair. My stylist Allie was nice. I explained how I'd always struggled to find the right kind of shampoo and conditioner for me hair, I was told most women struggle with that. I dug for more information, received little. I don't believe I received anything special with my shampoo and color, it all seemed very standard. Due to the lighting in the store, I had a hard time seeing the color. When I got home, I saw the highlights we're brassy orange. Definitely not Auburn. They clashed badly with my dark hair. And there was about 3/4 of an inch between my roots and where the highlights started. I paid $110 for this. I ended up buying a box of drugstore hair dye to make it bearable. The best part of the service was being able to book online. Never going back. read more
